Complete Shadow of the Tomb Raider document, mural, relic, map, and backpack locations guide

Relics

Ceremonial Fire Drill

Go in around the south-west end of the jetty, underwater, and swim to the treasure chest. Needs the lockpick, of course. And… is this an in-joke about fire alarms at Square-Enix? Seems very odd otherwise.

Airplane

In the long building south-east from the Temple District base camp, this treasure chest is at the end of the room.

Chaki Taklla

While being led down into the Hidden City, it’s on the floor at the bottom of the flight of steps with the fire burning at the bottom.

Chuspas

From the Paititi Market base camp, head up the stairs and in the first door. It’s on your left.

Metatl

Just south of Unuratu’s Home Base Camp, you’ll find this in a box on the floor in a hut.

Urpu

At the northern tip of the map, above the rice fields and in front of the entrance to the temple.

Brigittine Rosary

Down in the caves where the big waterwheel needs to be fixed and turned, there’s a small room off it that you’ll need to break into. It’s on the right.

Copper Mace

After speaking with Jonah following the failed mission to retrieve the silver box, this is just down the hill, inside a broken stone hut. This is also near the Skull Cave basecamp.

Tlaloc Vase

In sight of the Upper City Main Gate base camp, to its south, on the platform between the camp and the monolith.

Mama Quilla Mask

Jump down into the pit in the prison complex and follow it around to the end on the right. There it is.

Bloodletter

In the middle of the main room in the prison, on the central platform.

Golden Effigy

Inside the cave above the white tree in Paititi village, break through the wall a little way in, then disable the two trip line traps. This is in the next room.

The Savior’s Amulet

Take on the King’s Horn sidequest in Unuratu’s home. On the way you’ll recover this from the cliffside cave. It needs to be returned to Uchu.

Beast Effigy

When you go after the Champion’s Bow in the King’s Horn sidequest, this is by the circular wooden area to the north.

Wooden rifle

In the Hidden City, in the north-west of the lower of the two yards.

Lord and Lady of the Dead

In the crypt in the abandoned village, into the water and through the squeeze gap. This is a little further along on a ledge past the second breathing point. But that’s not the problem - the problem is getting to it! So climb up the white wall in front of you at this location, and make a rope bridge over to the crypt. Simple.

Ceremonial Pipe

Just north-east of the Paititi Market base camp, you need to crouch to get in its hut.

Path of the stars

South-west of the Paititi Market base camp, in the room where you talk to Pisko the Dead. It’s next to the treasure chest, to the right.

Mask of the fire god

This is in the building at the location shown and easy to find.

Burial Mask

In the room at this location, next to some gold.

Year Bundle

Across the bridge in Paititi village, you need the serpent guard outfit on and to have found the reinforced knife to get through the door.

Ch’arki and Chunos

In Paititi village, head to this location north north-east of the bridge and make sure you have the reinforced blade to get through the door.

Mask of Tezcatlipoca

From the Temple of Kukulkan base camp, go into the temple through the door beside you. This find is behind the alter, just go around the back of the room.

Primitive Doll

From the Temple of Kukulkan base camp, start to head out to the prison island, but don’t go along the cliff. Instead, drop down and make your way into the challenge tomb. After swimming along the submerged corridor, you’ll find this when you emerge.

Whistle

South-west of the Temple District base camp.

Ear Spools

In the Upper City, there’s a treasure chest in the north section - stay above ground rather than going down into the temple. There’s a building with gold and brown bands with a door that’s sunk down just below street level. The treasure chest is in here. You’ll need the lockpick to open it.

Ceremonial Torch

After completing the murder mystery quest in Paititi Village, you’ll know about the climbable wall around the back of the house north-west of where this relic lies. Climb to the left instead of going right as you do for that quest, and there’s another wall. Go around (and take in the amazing view) and drop down to find this artefact.

Macuahuitl

South-west of the Temple District base camp, through the gap in the wall and in the room beyond.

Incense Burner

Climb the wall near the Temple District Base Camp and make your way along.

Dismantled radio

Down the hill from the Village Caves base camp, you’ll need the reinforced knife to cut through the doorway and into the hut here.

Plastic Penguin

Up in the rice fields, on the left as you ascend.

Arrow

Arrow? Is it me you’re looking for? From the Wild Jungle base camp, head south along the water until you reach this point. There’s a climbable tree and once you get high enough in it, you can swing over to the cliffs. A little way along, you can pull yourself up. Then there’s another jump until you end up climbing up to a ledge. Don’t jump off with the swan dive prompt - enter the crypt and find this relic.

Gold Mask

In the Cozumel area with the bells, once you’ve crossed them you need to make a rope line to cross. However, once you reach the other side, look back above where you just came from and make a new one to the rope tether that’s now visible a storey above the first. Once across, head left and the treasure chest is at the end. You’ll need the lockpick, of course.

Archivist Maps

3. In the crypt by the abandoned village, dive underwater, squeeze through the wall and then continue along. At one point there’s a fork - one way leads upstairs, Go up there and disable the tripwire trap then find the map.

4. Inside the wall at the market in the hidden city. Go to this place on the map.

5. At the top of the room in which the Temple Path base camp is located.

7. In the jungle crypt, this is immediately after the rope swing over the pit of spears.
