It’s Friday, it’s the SFX website and that means it’s sci-fi bargains time. We’ve had a good rummage round the internet; let’s see if there’s anything we can tempt you with in our random selection this week…

First off Play’s Blu-Ray 2 for £15 is still running and includes a fair number of sci-fi films, so head over there to see what bargains you can find.

Next up are the wacky-goings-on in A Town Called Eureka with Season 1 and Season 2 both available for only £8.99 each.

Finally from the HMV sale for this week we have the coma/time travel/mad ’70s show with series one of Life on Mars . You can see the beginnings of the legend that is Gene Hunt for just £10.99 .

Moving away from HMV, but staying with TV box sets we have more Warehouse 13 . Last week we brought you season 1 of this brilliant show and this week you can have season 2 for £10.97 from Amazon.

In another shade of green, the CGI-heavy Green Lantern is available for £10 . The massive blue head of Megamind was also spotted for £7 .

On the Blu-ray front, Asda has the Director’s Cut of Watchmen and the JJ Abrams Star Trek remake for £10 each; a two-disc Blade Runner set for £12 ; and if you feel like shutting up crime they have Super for just £5 . If seeing the roll out of all the decorations and Christmas adverts is making you particularly un-festive why not try picking up Gremlins ; the Blu-ray can be yours for just £7 .

From the forum this week, Badhat brings news that the new Blu-ray X-Men boxed set can be found for £25 in store at HMV. If anyone out there spots a sci-fi bargain they want to share then please pop over to the forum and mention it in the relevant thread. This thread is for bargain films and this one is for TV bargains . Keep your eyes peeled for great offers for your fellow geek and maybe your find will be in the bargain list next time.
