Sam Fisher is silent, deadly in Splinter Cell: Blacklist footage

Splinter Cell: Blacklist has cover shooting and crazy chases, but this developer walkthrough shows the new Sam Fisher has retained his stealth chops. Watch him make his way through a burning natural gas plant in an attempt to save our heating prices and catch some terrorists.

The gas plant is definitely on the linear side of Sam Fisher's stealthy expeditions, but all the tools are there for a good time on both sides of the searchlights. On top of the single player campaign, beloved Spies vs. Mercs multiplayer mode is back--check out our preview for more on the asymmetrical fun.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist will hit PC, PS3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on August 20.
