When you regain control after the cutscene, head inside and use the elevator to reach the Energy Plant. Walk across the bridge past Hop and finally, you'll have the chance to battle Rose.

Fire-type Pokemon are your friend in this battle, it cannot be understated. All three types are weak to Fire-types here, so if you started the game with Scorbunny, you're in luck. If not, get some of your highest level Fire-types and unleash hell, because you can truly melt these Steel-type Pokemon. Of course, Fighting and Ground-types work well too. Watch out for his Gigantamaxed Copperajah and save the PP of your most powerful moves for it, because Copperajah has a high defence stat.
After you take down Rose, you've got to take the elevator up another level to greet the other legendary Pokemon in this game, Eternatus. While Zacian and Zamazenta were the figurehead legendaries for these games, Eternatus was kept somewhat secret, and now you're face to face with it alongside Leon and Hop.
Eternatus
The Eternatus fight has two stages. First up, after Leon fails to catch it with a Poke Ball, you need to defeat in a normal battle. Eternatus is level 60 and Posion/Dragon-type, so use either Psychic or Dragon-type to defeat it. Don't worry about catching it because it's impossible at this stage, despite your best efforts.
In the second stage of the fight, you won't be able to deal any damage to it whatsoever. Try and use a few moves until a cutscene starts and Zacian and Zamazenta show up to help. Once they turn up, it will turn into a proper raid battle like the ones in the Wild Area. No matter which Pokemon you're using in this section, Zacian and Zamazenta should carry you through the battle with their special moves, Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash.
Once Eternatus is down, you can throw any ball you like and catch it, before Zacian and Zamazenta blast off again. In a heroic way though, not like Team Rocket.
Champion Battle
A cutscene will begin three days later, then you need to make your way back to Wyndon Gym for the last time. This time, you will be taking on Leon in a fight to declare the champion.

This will be the toughest fight yet, simply because all of his Pokemon pack a punch and he's got six of 'em. Have a strong Ghost-type Pokemon on you to deal with Aegislash and Dragapult, who can also be taken down with a Dragon-type alongside Haxorus. Seismitoad is incredibly weak to Grass-type attacks — good news if you picked Grookey — while Cinderace and Charizard will go down to Water-types. Of course, he Gigantamaxes his beloved Charizard, so make sure you're using those Max Revives Sonia gave you before you went into the Slumbering Weald and do your best to survive his G-Max Wildfire attacks.
When you beat Leon, congratulations! You're the new champion of Galar, but don't worry; the fun doesn't stop there as there's still more post-game things to do in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
