The worst videogame music you've ever heard

Virtua Tennis

It's strange, but the first thing any Virtua Tennis player will do when they load up the game is head straight for the options menu and turn the music off. Why? Well, firstly, Wimbledon didn't have a soft rock soundtrack last time we went. Secondly, the incidental sound effects are so crisp, they need to be heard and appreciated.

But thirdly, the music is a dirge. Dirge of "server"-ous, if you will (sorry - you try resisting that one). Suffice to say we don't "love" it. OK, enough awful puns. Have a listen and see how many times you can take that same banal guitar riff before you have to hit stop in disgust. Oh, and by the way, it's called "Smash, Smash, Smash." We reckon "Gash, Gash, Gash" would have been more fitting.
