Gaming’s most devastating genital attacks

The attack: Precision crotch shot

Like GoldenEye, Scarface’s nut shots weren’t anything too amazing; wing an enemy in the scrotum, and he’d go down clutching his junk, etc., etc.

Above: Or not, because odds are you hit him in a dozen other places at the same time

What sets Scarface apart is that it recognized the right and left nuts as individual, distinct targets that it would announce onscreen, making it the first (and probably only) game to ever do so. With a protagonist as singularly focused on balls as Tony Montana, it seems only appropriate.

Wince factor:

Mikel Reparaz
After graduating from college in 2000 with a BA in journalism, I worked for five years as a copy editor, page designer and videogame-review columnist at a couple of mid-sized newspapers you've never heard of. My column eventually got me a freelancing gig with GMR magazine, which folded a few months later. I was hired on full-time by GamesRadar in late 2005, and have since been paid actual money to write silly articles about lovable blobs.
