Expert builds for Destiny's Prison of Elders and Trials of Osiris

Trials of Osiris - Hunter

If you're looking to cause damage from a distance, the Gunslinger subclass is for you. If you prefer stealth and close quarters combat, you can maximise those abilities with the Bladedancer subclass.

The Golden Gun is your best friend and can take out the opposing fireteam in a single use - provided you're a good shot and they're hunkered down together. If you aren't that confident and need a buffer, the Achlyophage Symbiote helmet's Last Man Standing perk will give you an extra shot as a cushion.

Enable the Gunfighter modifier to reduce the cooldown so that you can whip it out more often. And don't forget that the Golden Gun can shoot down the Titan's Ward of Dawn bubble shield, but watch out for their Suppressor Grenade that will cut your super short. Keyhole is also useful if you come up against a couple of Guardians in close quarters, letting you over-penetrate and hit two targets with a single shot.

Otherwise, slip on the Young Ahamkara's Spine gauntlets for the Improved Tripmine Grenade perk which makes tripmines last longer after you set them down. The tripmines are perfect for preventing sneak attacks and you can lure most Guardians eager for a kill into an explosive trap.

Bladedancer's Arc Blade can be modified to focus on stealth, and the up-close-and-personal super can be improved with the Hunter helmet Mask of the Third Man upgrade Unstable Current, making Arc Blade attacks use less super energy.

The Vanish modifier allows you to cloak during Arc Blade while Escape Artist grants a brief spell of invisibility after hitting a enemy with Blinkstrike.

The best exotic to equip if you're going for full-on stealth mode are the Don't Touch Me gauntlets, whose Defensive Reflex upgrade grants you invisibility for a short time after taking melee damage.

Top all of this off with the Shadowjack modifier and you'll increase the duration of all invisibility effects. For maximum speed, don't forget the aptly named Fleet Footed perk.
