Funko Pops. Love 'em or hate 'em, they're definitely "in" right now, and that means anything and everything will be transformed into a small vinyl doll with beady black eyes and a bulbous head. Case in point: Crash Bandicoot, which recently experienced a sort of renaissance thanks to the N. Sane Trilogy, will be turned into a Funko Pop line coming to stores (and, admit it, your desk) this November.
The wacky marsupial has a large selection of colorful characters that are ripe for Funko Pop-ization. There's Tiny, the musclebound tiger; Dr. N. Tropy, a time-traveling super genius with a clock in his chest; Dr. N. Gin, a mad scientist with a rocket sticking out of his head; Dingodile, the half-dingo half-crocodile; I can keep going with this. There's a lot of pun and wordplay-based villains in these games.
Maybe that's why it's surprising and a bit disappointing to me that the Pop series is mostly Crash, and... er, more Crash, with one figure of Dr. Neo Cortex rounding out the lineup. Here's what regular Crash and Dr. Cortex look like:

You'll be able to pick up those figures anywhere Funko is sold. If you're lucky, you can also find a black-and-white variant of Crash that's semi-rare. According to Funko, you've got a 1-in-6 chance of finding him.

Best Buy's exclusive version of Crash Bandicoot looks just like the normal one, but this one glows in the dark. Those beady little eyes, watching you while you sleep...
And lastly, my personal favorite, a flocked version of Crash Bandicoot (which is to say a version covered in tiny fibers to mimic the look and feel of fur) will be found only at GameStop:
