Buried teaser goes live

Ryan Reynolds is a busy man.

Between various comic book film duties and shiny rom-com shoots, he somehow managed to find time to appear in a one-man-film called Buried .

The first teaser for the flick has just cropped up online, and gives us a glimpse of what we can expect from what seems to be a mini-budget, claustrophobic nerve-jangler.

Reynolds plays Paul, a US contractor who is out working in Iraq. Following an attack, he wakes up to discover that he has been literally buried alive.

Equipped with just a lighter and a cell phone, he records his predicament as he tries to find an escape.

Think Cloverfield meets that scene in Kill Bill: Vol 2 .

The film is set to premiere at this year’s Sundance, which opens its curtains today.
