BLOG Getting your novel published

At SFX we regularly hear from people planning to write an SF or fantasy novel. You're a creative lot - our own regular Pulp Idol writing competition demonstrates that! But once the hard work is done, what can you do to give your book a better chance of hitting the shelves?
