Blocky graphics can’t stop the Madden franchise. On the iPhone, you may not recognize Adrian Peterson making a spin move, but at least you can call one of 300 plays – familiar from the console version -- and use an on-screen touch joystick to control players. And when you consider that this offers a full season mode and roster management, it’s well-equipped to compete with the more expensive PSP and DS versions for fans’ attention.
