Red Hulk
The Hulk is turning red in his latest Marvel title, and the comic’s scripter Jeph Loeb (who has also produced and written for Smallville, Lost and Heroes) has recorded a podcast explaining why. It’s scheduled to go live on the Marvel website later today… or maybe tomorrow. But for a sneak preview (in a version you have to read!) check out Comic Book Resources .

X-Files 2 movie pics
USA Today has a new pic from the X-Files sequel movie and a brief interview with Chris Carter, the show's creator. He says that he originally wanted to make the movie as soon as the series ended but thinks the delay (caused by a contractual dispute) may have been a blessing in disguise: “There's a whole audience I want to introduce X-Files to. There were kids who couldn't watch it on TV because it was too scary. Now they're in college. I wanted a movie that everyone could go to."

KITT car
New Knight Rider TV movie producer Dave Bartis explains to Sci Fi Wire why the show stars a souped-up Ford Mustang and not the Pontiac Trans Am of the original 1980s series: "The easy answer is, there is no Trans Am available anymore, like the original. But, you know, we went and looked at all the choices that were out there--all the cars that were available, and personally, I thought this was the coolest car that was out there.” (SFX’s editor Dave Bradley isn’t convinced…)

JLA movie shelved
Warner Brothers has indefinitely shelved the Justice League movie, according to Variety . The film would have seen all DC major superheroes – including Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman – united into a superteam, under the direction of George Miller. Now, says Variety, "Warner Bros let the options lapse on the young cast that director George Miller chose to play DC superhero staples. The studio, which had set Tuesday as its greenlight deadline for the pic, confirmed Wednesday the project is on indefinite hold… Cast members were informed late Tuesday their options would not be exercised, but they were also assured the studio is determined to make the film with them in it. But before that can happen, there are several problems to be resolved."
