The Club slips to 2008

September 7, 2007

Sadly for gamers with Xbox 360 and PS3 shooter The Club on their Christmas lists, the game has slipped to early 2008, Sega confirmed today. We must admit, when we last saw the game in actionit didn't look very near to completion (although that was a few months ago). Still, 2007 is already looking like having the most expensive tail-end of any year ever with so many great games coming out, so this will at least give us a chance to fill our pockets again before The Club opens for business in the New Year.

Also slipping a little is Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars on PSP, but it's still coming this month, so fans of the indestructible yellow cab won't have too much longer to wait before they get a proper handheld version. We are promised a definite date for NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams, Football Manager 2008 and Mario %26amp; Sonic at the Olympic Games 'soon', so fingers crossed they'll avoid the looming '08'.

The full list of confirmed UK Sega release datesis as follows:

Sonic Rush Adventure (DS) September 14
Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars (PSP) September 28
SEGA Rally (PS3, Xbox 360, PSP, PC) September 28
Virtua Fighter 5 (X360) October 26
Universe at War: Earth Assault (PC) November 2
Sonic Rivals 2 (PSP) November 2
Ghost Squad (Wii) November 2
The Golden Compass (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, DS, PSP, Wii) November 30
