Assuming you saw the 2014 live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot - or indeed, any of the marketing for it - you already know what our half-shell heroes look like. If you find yourself drawn to any of the guys in particular, you might appreciate the solo character posters that Paramount has posted to its Facebook page for the upcoming sequel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows.
While these posters accurately show off our reptilian heroes quite nicely, I can't help but wish that we could also get a better look at the film's four villains. Shredder, Bebop, Rocksteady, and Krang are all set to make an appearance, but we've only seen snippets of them. In Krang's case, all we have so far is a one-second tease of an eyeball shown during the Super Bowl.
But enough pining over what is yet to be. While I can't say I was a fan of the 2014 film, I like what I've seen of the sequel so far. For example, the turtles themselves (at least going by these posters) are getting their designs a bit streamlined. Notice that Leo is no longer wearing his weird bamboo chestpiece, and Donatello is no longer absolutely covered in high-tech-looking junk. I'm particularly happy about that, as Donnie was always my favorite. What about you? Which turtle is your main hombre?
Directed by Dave Green and starring Megan Fox, Stephen Amell, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, and Tyler Perry, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be released in UK and US cinemas on June 3, 2016.
