Last summer, Sean Penn dropped out of the Farrelly brothers’ Three Stooges film to spend more time with his family.
Now, though, it seems that he’s officially re-joined the project.
Bobby Farrelly spoke to The Boston Herald and confirmed: “we got him back. He always said he wanted to do it after, you know, taking care of his family.”
The film all but came to a grinding halt after Penn pulled out last year (the power of a Hollywood name, people), meaning that the brothers Farrelly moved on to Owen Wilson comedy Hall Pass instead.
With Hall Pass set for release in 2011, it’s uncertain when Stooges will go under the lens.
