New Batman v Superman international trailer is action-packed and spoiler free

Aside from the ill-advised reveal of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman seemingly teaming up to fight Doomsday, Warner Bros. have actually been quite smart about the footage they've released so far for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In fact, we'd wager that if we were to add up all the trailers, clips and TV spots, it wouldn't come to more than 15 minutes - and the movie is 151 minutes long.

Some new, relatively spoiler-free snippets of Batman v Superman can be seen in the international trailer, which you can watch below...

That quick clip of an armored Batman headbutting Superman reminded me of Thor and Iron Man's memorable, but all too brief battle in The Avengers. Having been billed as "the greatest gladiator match in the history of the world", here's hoping the fight between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel is a lot longer, and even more impressive.

Directed by Zack Snyder and starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Laurence Fishburne, and Amy Adams, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will arrive in UK and US cinemas on March 25, 2016.
