So while it may not be slam-dunk material on the courts, there's no denying that some of the extra goodies sprinked throughout are worth a look-see. In particular, once we hit the Conquest Mode, we were hooked (and, um, never went back to our season). A hoopified version of Risk, you'll be charged with attacking territories via 5-on-5 streetball contests.

Win a battle and you get to take anyone on the opposition's team in return for your chumpiest baller. Lose, and kiss your superstar goodbye. The goal, naturally, is owning the world, which will be helped by legendary players once you dominate enough of a slice of the continent.
