Publisher Majesco has announced a DS-exclusive adaptation of Nacho Libre, Jack Black's cook-turned-luchador film that hits theaters tomorrow. But you won't be playing it anytime soon, as the game's scheduled for an October release - possibly more in tune with the movie's DVD release.
Libre recreates the film's exaggerated wrestling by offering you more than 10 playable characters, four-player wireless matches and a truly bizarre "photo puppetry" presentation. We caught a glimpse of this technique at E3, and it's downright weird. Black's character, Ignacio, appears with a huge head and a body that's seemingly made out of paper cutouts strewn together to make a humanoid shape. Yikes.
