This deck build is effectively broken into three stages of strategy. First, you open with Meloetta or Xerneas, drawing cards and making sure you get the Plaza out for those zero-cost retreats. Secondly, you deploy Gardevoir, who can do respectable damage while also fuelling Pokemon on the bench with massive amounts of energy. Finally, you bring in Mega Diancie ex, who can basically annihilate whatever your opponent has going if you've put down enough energy.

The downsides are that this little bit of setup is vulnerable to disruption, though it's not as bad as it sounds. Rapid card draws from Meloetta and Copycat mean you can get Gardevoir up and running quickly, and Diantha is there to mitigate any early damage opponents get off on you. Plus, the Plaza means that you have basically free control over your own board, and it will never cost you energy again. Finally, Diancie being empowered by energy across your whole board is incredibly good, whereas most scaling attacks before now have been based on energy on that specific Pokemon.

Energy: Water

The Sleep meta remains strong and gets stronger now that Milotic has entered the fray. This is probably the most straightforward version of the deck, using Milotic and Igglybuff to put opponents to sleep and then having Darkrai do the usual chip damage. We've also seen variants that downplay the sleep for more versatility, bringing in Magikarp and Mega Gyarados ex for greater power. As players start to learn to prepare for Sleep effects as a common occurrence, it may be that ends up being the stronger alternative, but we'll have to see how things shake out.

Otherwise, the deck strategy is straightforward enough. Igglybuff and Feebas get out early, with Wallace allowing you to evolve the latter as soon as possible. Then it's all about riffling your deck to put Darkrai on the bench and maximizing damage. There's no great "killshot" attacks here (nothing that will do more than 80 damage), but with Milotic's passive energy generation, you can get out early and bring down opponents before they have a chance to set up a strategy.

Arguably as much a Darkrai deck as a Giratina deck build, this one runs exclusively Dark energy because of Giratina's ability to empower itself. Meanwhile, Greninja's on the bench to target opponents with chip damage every turn, so while this is a deck with a weaker early game, cards like Darkrai and Iron Jugulis serve to whittle down the opponent and discourage them from really exploiting that early opportunity.

Given enough time, this deck can then come out swinging. Either Giratina is doing 130 damage per turn, or Darkrai is doing 80-100 damage depending on whether you keep putting energy on it. It's not quite as powerful as it used to be now that there's a greater selection of cards with equal (or more) power output, but it's still very strong and worth considering in the meta.

There is some flexibility here in the build. You could lean into boosting Miraidon's low health with something like the Giant Cape, add Teal Mask Ogerpon for immunity to status effects, swap out Magnemite for a tougher variant if you find yourself getting hit too hard in the early game, or throw in the Electric Generator for increased energy output.

It's also a deck with a decent amount of survival built in, with Erika adding resistance to an already durable deck. You can swap cards like Erika and May out for Quick Grow Extract or Leaf Cape if you want to switch things up, or consider including the Memory Light tool card, as Grovyle's ability to attack the bench can be really effective in certain circumstances.

You don't even have to be particularly protective over it, as Hydreigon's absurd damage output somehow doesn't make it a Pokemon ex, so even if it falls you don't give your opponents many points.

Apple unveiled iPadOS 27 during Monday's WWDC event, with the good news that the software update will be available for all but the oldest iPads currently in circulation. That means anything after the 2020 iPad base model is covered, but you'll need a more premium iPad Air or Pro device to truly make the most of new features.

That's because iPadOS 27 comes stacked with new processes that require Apple Intelligence to run, and that little add-on is only available on devices with an M1 chip or later. Still, the update will be downloadable on Apple's cheapest iPad, the A16 (currently on sale for $299, was $349 at Amazon), providing performance increases and a UI improvements to liquid glass.

The full update is reserved for M1 iPad Air and iPad Pro models, however.

This is where you'll find the upgraded Siri, rebuilt for Apple Intelligence and merged with Google Gemini's LLMs. It's now an app in itself, but is also contextually aware of what's on your screen. Photos has had its own Apple Intelligence injection, with 'Clean Up' object removal improvements, frame-expanding, and perspective-bending tech.

Safari tabs are easier to manage; shortcuts can be created with natural language - everything from Notes to Passwords has been integrated here.

You'll be spending at least $599 for a current-generation device with one of Apple's M-series processors, but upcoming Prime Day iPad deals could also lend a hand later this month. If you're upgrading ahead of the new software, these are the models you should watch out for:

What's new in iPadOS 27?

Performance increases

All compatible Apple tablets will receive performance increases via iPadOS 27. The brand states that by the time the software is fully rolled out in 2027, iPad apps can launch "up to 30% faster," with a smoother feel overall. In its presentation, the brand explained that CPU scheduling behaviour has been streamlined for the new software upgrade, while older redundant code has been removed to keep things zippy.

Liquid Glass slider

Love it or hate it, it looks like Liquid Glass is here to stay. Apple has, however, relented slightly. Following feedback that the new UI is harder to read, the brand is introducing a slider in its iPadOS 27 update. This essentially hands control back to the user, determining just how transparent they want their icons to appear.

Siri AI

This is the big one. Siri has its own app, and it's been turbocharged with Apple AI features. It has access to system-wide apps and can pull information from each as and when you need it, combined with on-screen awareness. Its Siri AI app functions like ChatGPT, but the service also runs over the top of your day-to-day interactions to streamline actions. Of course, you can still toggle and untoggle Apple Intelligence from the settings menu if this all sounds like a nightmare come true - and the service currently won't be rolled out in the EU or China.

Photos

Apple Intelligence also brings a few new features to the Photos app. Shots can use AI to 'zoom out' on a shot, with the app filling in additional information itself, or to shift the perspective in a 're-frame' tool.

Image Playground

Finally, iPadOS 27 brings improvements to Image Playground on Apple tablets. The image generator is now capable of rendering realistic imagery rather than the cartoonish oddities of previous iterations.

The iPad Air M4 is the latest generation Air device, launching at the same $599 / $799 price as the previous model.

The headline upgrade here is that M4 chip. The Apple silicon first made its way to the more expensive Pro models last year, but is now scaling down the price brackets to the brand's middle child. Apple claims the upgraded chip is 30% faster than the M3 powering its previous Air device, with the N1 and C1X chips boosting wireless connectivity to boot.

Gamers should also note that the M4 boasts nine GPU cores for ray tracing support. That means four times faster 3D rendering, though Apple is using the M1 processor in that comparison.

The design remains largely unchanged compared to the previous model, with the same spread of four color options and an identical flat-edge form factor.

Best Buy and Apple are both already advertising early iPad Air M4 pre-order trade-in deals today, so if you've got an old device to hand you can score some extra savings on an upgrade. Best Buy caps out at $350 off, but Apple can give you up to $670 if you've got an iPad beefy enough.

If you're going for something a little more personal, it's worth clocking Apple's free personalization features. The brand can engrave your kit for free, which Best Buy won't be able to match.

Should you upgrade to the iPad Air M4?

The new iPad Air is an iterative update with a new processor and a few extra boosts under the hood. That means it's not going to be a must-have upgrade for everyone.

If you're still using the M3 device and get on just fine with the level of power on offer, you're not going to get anything revolutionary by taking this leap. The same can even be said for older M2 model, especially if you just use your device for streaming, web browsing, and the odd light game.

If, however, you use your tablet for heavier gaming, more complex productivity tasks, or day to day work the move from an M1 iPad Air or older is going to give you solid results.

Best Buy and Apple are still your go-tos for iPad Air M4 pre-orders today, though B&H Photo does have listings up and ready to go for 9.15am ET. I'm not seeing any trade-in or discount opportunities available here, though, and Amazon is yet to drop its product pages as well.

Best Buy will give you $350 off an iPad Air M4 when you trade in your old device, but you'll need one of two iPads to get the full discount.

That's either the 12.9-inch iPad Pro (4th Gen) or the previous iPad Air M3. Both are pretty premium devices, but if you're upgrading to the newer chip it's certainly cheaper than paying for everything outright.

The $249 price applies to the $599 11-inch iPad Air 128GB, the cheapest entry in the new lineup.

iPad Air M4 pre-orders open in 2 minutes

Those looking to get an early pre-order will be lining up at retailers right now, with Apple's new device set to drop onto the shelves in just two minutes time. This is when we'll start to see if other retailers are coming armed with offers of their own, and Amazon might actually acknowledge the tablet in the first place.

B&H Photo might be the place for trade-ins

Don't have an iPad or other Apple device to trade in? B&H Photo is accepting a much wider range of devices for trade-in discounts on the new iPad Air M4 this week. That means you can swap in anything from smartwatches to phones from a whole roster of brands. With up to $2,550 available in savings, it's time to dig through the cupboard.

Still nothing from Amazon

Amazon still doesn't have the new iPad Air M4 available for pre-order, but the site is running discounts on the previous generation. The M3 tablet is set to be run off the shelves now that the new version is available, and when that happens I often see prices dropping particularly quickly.

The WiFi only model is already unavailable at Amazon, but if you need a cellular connection the 5G tablet is available for 20% off, down to $599 (was $749).

Good luck is here for the Grammy-winning pop star, as Epic has revealed the Fortnite Chappell Roan collab she's been asking for since last year.

Roan, a noted Fortnite enthusiast who shot to stardom in 2024 for reasons entirely unrelated to Fortnite, made a public plea in an interview with BBC Radio 1 in 2025, begging Epic to "please give me a skin, please." Today, Epic announced that Roan is getting that and much more.

"Chappell Roan is the Fortnite Festival Season 13 Icon," reads the announcement. Fortnite Festival players can expect season 13 to be Chappell-themed, with the main stage taking on a medieval castle-look inspired by the singer's Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things tour design. Naturally, hit songs from Roan like 'Hot To Go!,' 'Pink Pony Club,' and 'Good Luck, Babe!' will be some of the season's new jam tracks.

However, for regular Fortnite Battle Royale players, this news simply means we're getting Chappell Roan skins, emotes, back blings, all that jazz. Specifically, the Roan of Arc outfit, pictured above, and the aptly named Chappell Roan outfit, will be added to Fortnite's in-game store on February 5, with the launch of Fortnite Festival season 13. Error code 102-243-099 in Pokemon TCG Pocket is caused by a glitch within the Missions section of the game, where the Handy Card Collection Missions erroneously show further progress than you've actually achieved. To unlock all of the rewards you need to get a total of 20 points in solo battles, but as soon as you start earning points in battles all of the missions will be marked as Complete, as seen in the image above. However, if you then try and claim those rewards, the error code will appear and send you back to the title screen with no further explanation.

Therefore, to fix Error code 102-243-099 you just need to keep playing solo battles until you've earned a total of 20 points, which will legitimately unlock all of the Handy Card Collection Missions rewards. You can then go through to that section of the Missions area and follow the usual prompt to collect your new trainer cards with no error messages in sight.

If you've definitely earned at least 20 points from solo battles and are still running into the same error, then Pokemon Support suggests you can try clearing your Pokemon TCG Pocket app cache. To do this, restart the game and then tap the triple bar icon in the top right corner of the title screen to open the menu, before selecting the 'Clear Cache' option. This will not delete your save data, however you will potentially have to redownload 3GB+ of game data and clear a large number of notifications in your challenges collection, so this should only be done as a last resort.

Arknights: Endfield is a gigantic gacha game with dozens of items and currencies to memorize. Some are more important than others, but you'll still need to familiarize yourself with every key item to succeed on Talos-II.

Arknights Endfield Oroberyls

Oroberyls are the primary gacha currency in Arknights: Endfield. Think of these like Primogems in Genshin Impact or Stellar Jade in Honkai Star Rail. One pull costs 500 Oroberyls, and a ten pull costs 5,000. (All the more reason to take Arknights Endfield free pulls when you can get them.)

Arknights Endfield Origeometry

You can obtain Oroberyls by completing quests and events, but you can also exchange a premium currency called Origeometry for them. Origeometry can be purchased with real money, and each piece is equivalent to 75 Oroberyls.

Arknights Endfield Headhunting Permits

In addition to Oroberyls, you can also pull for Arknights Endfield characters with Headhunting Permits. These special items are split into Basic and Chartered varieties, with the former being used for the standard banner and the latter used for limited characters like Laevatain, Gilberta, or Yvonne.

Some Headhunting Permits will get you a free ten pull (like the New Horizons beginner permits), while others can only be used on specific banners. The Firewalker's Trial HH Permits, for example, can only be used for Laevatain and will expire once her banner is over.

Arknights Endfield Arsenal Exchange

Pulling for characters will reward you with Arsenal Tickets, and these can be spent to pull for weapons in the Arsenal Exchange. New weapons come and go on a weekly and daily basis in the Arsenal Exchange, so check often to see what's in stock.

Arknights Endfield Quota Exchange

Finally, you can exchange Operator Tokens from duplicate pulls for Bond Quotas and AIC Quotas, letting you pick up helpful resources and even free Headhunting Permits from the Quota Exchange.

Arknights: Endfield Upgrade Items

If all those proper nouns weren't enough, Arknights: Endfield also has a wide array of upgrade materials that you'll need to learn if you want to keep your squad in tip-top shape.

The most basic upgrade materials are Combat Records, which can be used to level up your characters. To level up weapons, you'll need Arms Inspector devices. Both of these can be obtained from Protocol Spaces.

Protodisks are used to promote Operators and increase their level caps, while Cast Die is the material used to tune weapons. If you want to upgrade a character's skill, you'll need another special item called a Protoprism. Again, these are all obtainable from Protocol Space challenges.

Finally, T-Creds are Endfield's form of money. They're needed for just about everything in the game. Don't get these confused with Stock Bills, though! Stock Bills are only used for the Regional Development aspect of the game, letting you trade goods with outposts to increase their overall prosperity levels.

Pre-registration rewards are the easiest source of free stuff in Arknights Endfield, and they're available to claim as soon as you start the game. While you're still a new player, you can also check in daily and claim free rewards from the Awakening login event. Other sign-in events will pop up as Endfield gets more updates, too!

As you progress through the first chapter of the main story, you'll receive New Horizons rewards. By completing main story quests, you'll get special Headhunting Permits that can only be used on a temporary beginner banner. You're guaranteed to get a six-star character within 40 pulls, and you'll get enough Headhunting Permits after just a few hours of gameplay. Moving on to long term goals, raising your Authority Level will net you Oroberyls, Headhunting Permits, and other premium items. You can claim your rewards from the in-game events page, but there's no rush since they don't expire.

To raise your Authority Level, you'll have to complete main story missions, discover side quests, and expand your production lines on Talos II. All of these will get you even more Oroberyls that you can put toward your next pulls. You'll be showered with goodies until you run out of quests.

How to get Ardelia and Snowshine free in Arknights Endfield

Two characters are also obtainable for free in Arknights Endfield, and that includes one of the game's best support units.

As a part of your pre-registration rewards, you can claim the five-star character Snowshine as soon as you get access to your mailbox. She's a Cryo character that can support your team with heals and damage resistance.

You'll likely want to swap her out for the other free character up for grabs, however. Ardelia is rewarded as a part of the Awakening login event. Just keep signing in every day and you'll be handed the game's strongest healer on a silver platter, plus a bunch of other helpful resources and gear.

Back in October, an Arizona-based grandma began a series of YouTube videos in which she plays Minecraft to help pay for her grandson's cancer treatment. Today, 17-year-old grandson Jack Self is "cancer free" and "feeling great."

81-year-old Sue Jacquot never envisioned herself a gamer, but in an effort to connect with her grandchildren, Jack and Austin, she began learning the ropes this past summer. And just a few months later, she felt confident enough to share her adventures with the world and start a YouTube channel called GrammaCrackers, all with the intention of easing the financial burden of Jack's aggressive cancer treatment.

Her first video, a genuinely life-affirming 15-minute introduction titled 'The BEST START EVER', quickly went viral and now has more than half a million views. It, along with every subsequent video, has a link to Jack's GoFundMe, which at the time of writing has more than $42,000 in donations. Meanwhile, the GrammaCrackers YouTube channel currently has almost 200,000 subscribers, the proceeds of which all go to Jack's treatment.

ABC 15 recently had the chance to visit Jacquot's family in Queen Creek, Arizona, and received wonderful news. "I am cancer free," said Jack. "I'm feeling great."

Jack was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer called sarcoma in 2024 and has since undergone more than 200 chemotherapy treatments. For Jacquot, getting into Minecraft and YouTube was a no-brainer, even as someone who didn't much play games previously.

"I was never really curious about it, but when you have grandkids who want to interact with you, you do it," she said, adding that she's received an outpouring of support, from prayers to uplifting messages, since she started her YouTube channel.

Jack's brother Austin said "we were all mind blown that she was able to figure it out and then it just kind of went from there," and as for Jack, "it was just very sweet to watch everybody being so kind to me and my grandma."

Getting Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley has a few requirements, like having The Forgotten Lands biome unlocked as well as the Fairy Godmother who lives there. Unlike other characters who have specific Realms in the Dream Castle, you'll want to keep an eye on your mailbox for a letter from the Fairy Godmother to begin a series of small fetch quests, starting with retrieving a glass slipper from somewhere in the plaza and eventually ending with you bringing Cinderella to your village. If you'd like some help figuring out where to find everything you need, including the glass slipper and several key crafting ingredients, I've detailed each step needed to cast the spell that unlocks Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley below.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Cinderella slipper location

The first thing you need to do to unlock Cinderella in Disney Dreamlight Valley is find a glass slipper in the Plaza biome once you receive a letter from The Fairy Godmother and start The Pumpkin and The Princess mission chain.

You'll need to have access to the Forgotten Lands already (where The Fairy Godmother lives), and since it's one of the most expensive areas to unlock in Disney Dreamlight Valley, it might take you some time to get Cinderella if you've yet to open up the entire Valley - you need 15,000 Disney Dreamlight Valley Dreamlight to unlock the area!

I found the slipper quite easily in the Plaza at the top of the large staircase, but it might spawn elsewhere for you. Like the alien toys during the Buzz Lightyear Disney Dreamlight Valley quests, Cinderella's glass slipper can spawn anywhere in the Plaza, so be sure to keep an eye out.

Craft the Wish Enchantment

After bringing the slipper to the Fairy Godmother's house, she will send you out to gather ingredients for the Wish Enchantment needed to bring Cinderella back, all of which can be found in the Forgotten Lands:

• Ginger (x5)
• Orange nasturtium flower (x1)
• Diamond (x1)
• Gooseberry (x5)

With all the ingredients collected, you can craft the Wish Enchantment. Open your inventory to apply it to your watering can, then return to the Fairy Godmother to receive the Spell Pumpkin.

Plant and harvest the Spell Pumpkin

Next, plant and water the Spell Pumpkin with your upgraded Watering Can. Wait 15 minutes for it to grow and then harvest it. Planting it the Forgotten Lands to speed up its growing time like a regular pumpkin unfortunately doesn't seem to make a difference.

After 15 minutes have passed, you can try and harvest the Spell Pumpkin... but it will vanish into thin air. Tell the Fairy Godmother, who will point you in the direction of Chez Remy since she saw the rat chef running off with a very large vegetable moments earlier.

Confront Remy at Chez Remy in the Plaza and retrieve the magical pumpkin for your enchantment. Now, head back to the Fairy Godmother for your final task.

Place the Spell Pumpkin and elegant furniture by the well

The final step to unlock Cinderella in Dreamlight Valley is to place her castle anywhere you like, then place the Spell Pumpkin and eight pieces of gold, blue, or white elegant furniture nearby the Wishing Well in the Plaza.

Wells usually serve as your Dreamlight Valley fast travel points, but they're also where you welcome new villagers for the first time. Once her castle and all the items are placed, a short animation will play out, and Cinderella will appear in front of the Well for you to befriend!

The renowned (and old) MMO RuneScape has now been around long enough to both introduce microtransactions and rip them right back out of the game.

Earlier this month, RuneScape's developer Jagex put the fate of its game in the hands of its community, erecting a poll and inviting players to vote to remove Treasure Hunter, the game's conduit for microtransactions. In a win for the staunchly anti-microtransaction crowd, the Treasure Hunter poll – which pulled in more than 120,000 votes when only 100,000 were needed – has passed the measure.

As a result, Treasure Hunter, which has been part of RuneScape since 2014, is being excised from the MMO beginning January 19, 2026. With it, more than 200 methods to directly purchase experience will disappear, too. The change will kick off what Jagex is dubbing "a year-long Integrity Roadmap" which aims to better the game and correct longstanding issues that have plagued it.

The move to make this "integrity" change a community-wide vote echoes an earlier initiative from Jagex, which similarly polled RuneScape players when it first toyed with the idea of reviving Old School RuneScape more than a decade ago. These days, Old School RuneScape's major updates are still mostly dictated by these votes.

In theory, the Treasure Hunter activity gives away keys on a daily basis, allowing players to net free rewards like XP boosts and gameplay-skipping items. In practice though, it has turned RuneScape into a pay-to-win game by inviting many to open their wallets and pay for even more keys beyond the initial free allotment, a move that Jagex has admitted has harmed the MMO and its community.

With Treasure Hunter's impending removal though, Jagex's CEO Jon Bellamy has declared, "January 19th is the start of a new era for RuneScape, powered by a shared desire to see this game grow for decades to come." On the exact same date, a special RuneScape Ahead presentation will be hosted on the game's YouTube channel which will provide "era-defining" insights into the MMO's future through 2026.

How to get a Monopoly Go Tycoon Club invite

There was a time where the requirements to get a Monopoly Go Tycoon Club invite were shrouded in mystery, though thanks to the official FAQ we now have a definitive answer. To qualify for an invitation, you need to be an active player for over a month and reach board level 10 by building landmarks to complete boards and progress forward.

Contrary to some other claims, you do not need to make any in-game purchases to receive a Monopoly Go Tycoon Club invite, and if you do decide to purchase any items this will not speed up your invitation as you still need to play for at least a month to qualify. Once you've met the requirements, look out for an invitation from Mr. Monopoly like the one shown above, then follow the process to get set up with your Tycoon Club membership.

How to claim daily Monopoly Go Tycoon Club rewards

Once you've received and accepted your invitation, a Monopoly Go Tycoon Club entry will be added to the game menu accessed by tapping the icon in the top right corner of the screen, as shown above. When there are new Tycoon Club rewards available to claim, a red notification marker will appear on the icon – after claiming these rewards there is a 24 hour cooldown until the next benefits become available, so make sure you collect them as soon as possible.

Tapping this menu option will take you to the Monopoly Go Tycoon Club in your web browser, then if you hit the icon in the top right corner of that page you'll see the above menu. The most efficient way to collect your Tycoon Club rewards is to tap Benefits then scroll down the page and spin the Tycoon's Daily Wheel for free. After landing on a prize, tap the Go to Shop option then scroll down the page and claim your free gift under the Rewards section.

Once you've spun the wheel and collect the Shop reward, tap the Back to Game option that pops up and you'll be returned to Monopoly Go to receive your Tycoon Club rewards. There's a top prize on the Tycoon's Daily Wheel of 500 rolls, which is much more than you'll ever receive using the Monopoly Go dice links, so it pays to come back each day and claim everything that's on offer.

What are the other Monopoly Go Tycoon Club benefits?

While the daily free rewards will be the main draw for many players, the other significant Monopoly Go Tycoon Club benefits are the featured offers for in-game purchases. By completing these transactions through the club rather than in the app, you'll receive additional 'web only' benefits including Loyalty Points in the form of blue gems.

The US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit has denied Apple's emergency request to halt changes to its App Store resulting from the company's legal fight with Apple.

Following the conclusion of that years-long battle, Apple is now required to allow apps to point users toward payment platforms that exist outside its own app, and it now can't take a cut from any of those external purchases.

In May, Apple asked the appeals court to pause that directive, and this week a panel of judges denied the motion to stay, saying "we are not persuaded that a stay is appropriate."

As the CEO of the company at the forefront of tackling Apple's notoriously hefty fees, Tim Sweeney is celebrating this latest legal triumph. "Apple's stay is denied by the 9th Circuit Court," reads a tweet from Sweeney quoting pages from the order. "The long national nightmare of the Apple tax is ended."

Sweeney added, "May next week's [Worldwide Developers Conference] be the Apple-led celebration of freedom that developers and users have long deserved."

The Apple vs. Epic quarrel dates back to 2020 when Fortnite was pulled from Apple platforms following Epic's attempt to give players methods to bypass Apple's payment platform and instead pay for in-game purchases directly to Epic. Apple has acquired Sneaky Sasquatch developer RAC7, the first dedicated gaming studio to be brought under the iPhone maker's umbrella.

Per Digital Trends, though it might seem like Apple buying its first-ever gaming studio is part of its strategy to increase its presence in the gaming space, those familiar with the company's plans say it was it was more of a chance to help grow Sneaky Sasquatch's player base on Apple Arcade.

"We love Sneaky Sasquatch and are excited that the 2-person RAC7 team has joined Apple to continue their work on it with us," an Apple spokesperson told Digital Trends. "We will continue to deliver a great experience for Apple Arcade players with hundreds of games from many of the best game developers in the world."

Meanwhile, Bloomberg reports that Apple is gearing up to reveal its own dedicated gaming app on June 9 at its Worldwide Developers Conference. This latest push into the gaming market would follow the hotly anticipated launch of the Nintendo Switch 2 by just four days.

Sources close to Bloomberg say Apple plans to begin pre-installing its new gaming app on all iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV set-top boxes starting later this year. The app will reportedly be a game launcher and hub where players can track achievements, leaderboards, messages, and other stuff.

It's no secret that Apple has had its eye on the gaming segment for years, with Apple Arcade launching in 2019, and whether or not the RAC7 acquisition is part of that broader effort, Bloomberg's report paints the reveal of the app as something Apple hopes will sell players and developers on the idea of it being a leader in the market. One thing's for sure; the timing being so close to Nintendo's orbit certainly sends a message.

There were over 69,000 votes logged for this poll, and results weren't as close as previous selections have been. Voldemort (Set 14) was a clear winner with 26,053 votes, while Honeyduke's (Set 18) came in second with 16,083 votes. All of the Golden Blitz stickers this season will be chosen by community polls, so keep an eye out for more opportunities to influence the upcoming selections.

What happens during a Monopoly Go Golden Blitz?

Usually, gold stickers you've collected are locked to your account, and if you tap on them in your collection you'll see a message stating "This Sticker can't be gifted". However, during a Monopoly Go Golden Blitz event two specific gold stickers will be unlocked for trading, which means you can either receive them to fill gaps in your collection or, if you already have at least one, use them to barter for other stickers you need to find.

During a Golden Blitz you can make up to five trades with the select gold stickers, in addition to the five standard daily trades you have available for regular stickers. If you need to find other players to swap with, then make sure you check out the trading groups on Facebook or Discord and follow the instructions to keep your trades safe.

Monopoly Go Tycoon Express season schedule

Each season of Tycoon Express in Monopoly Go will coincide with the current Album, except for the first one that starts on May 20 and ends on July 2, 2025. At the end of each season everyone's progress will be reset, so even if you make it all the way through the train to the top class cabin, you won't be able to remain there indefinitely and will have to return to the beginning of a new train.

How to upgrade Tycoon Express in Monopoly Go

To upgrade your Tycoon Express in Monopoly Go and rise to the next class, you need to earn Express Coins by taking part in daily tournaments. The higher you place in the tournament, the more Express Coins you'll earn, and if you scroll through the leaderboard you'll see a line marking the point where you'll upgrade your class if you finish above it. Express Coins are cumulative, so if you don't earn enough of them to upgrade your class immediately then they'll roll over to your total on the following day, and the upgrade line you need to finish above will be lower on the leaderboard as a result.

Each time you upgrade your class on the Monopoly Go Tycoon Express and move to the next cabin, you'll receive instant rewards such as Emojis, Shields, Tokens, Signature Dice, and Profile Frames, as well as a boost to your tournament rewards for the rest of the season. These rewards get more extravagant the further you progress, but subsequent cabin upgrades will cost more Express Coins as a result so you'll need to save up.

There are seven cabins in total on the Tycoon Express, and once you've upgraded you cannot drop back down during the season, so you don't need to worry about maintaining your class. The Monopoly Go Tatooine Treasures minigame is available now and is running through May 11, as part of the Star Wars crossover currently taking place in this mobile board game adaptation. There are some excellent rewards to unlock by digging up treasures, but first you need to earn the Blasters used to shoot away the tiles covering them. With 20 levels to get through and not a lot of time, it pays to understand how it all works to help speed up your progress – so whether you're looking for Tatooine Treasures solutions in Monopoly Go or a list of the rewards available, here's what you need to know.

The quickest way to earn more Blasters during this event is to claim the free Monopoly Go dice links and keep moving around the board collecting prizes.

How to play Tatooine Treasures in Monopoly Go

To play Tatooine Treasures in Monopoly Go, you need to earn Blasters so you can shoot away the squares and uncover the treasures hidden beneath. You earn Blasters by moving around the board and collecting prizes, as well as progressing events such as Tatooine Nights by landing on the Corner Squares. You can then tap on the Blaster icon to the right hand side of the game screen to enter the Tatooine Treasures minigame.

For each level, there are outlines of the hidden treasures at the top of the screen, and you tap on squares in the bottom grid to remove them and uncover the treasures. The solid squares cannot be removed, so consider the size and shape of the treasures you're looking for to narrow down their possible locations – remember that they can be rotated! Once you reveal one square of a treasure, you should be able to deduce where the remaining squares are from the outline displayed above the grid.

As you progress through the levels, there will be squares that require several Blasters to remove, so try and work around those where possible so you don't waste shots on empty squares. The legal battle between Epic and Apple is finally over, and with things pretty much turning in the Fortnite publisher's favor, preparations are underway for a "peace proposal" that'd get the battle royale back on the iOS App Store worldwide. But Epic still got at least one more swipe at Apple in store before all is said and done.

"In June 2025, we are releasing a new feature enabling developers to launch their own webshops hosted by the Epic Games Store," Epic explains in its announcement. "These webshops can offer players out-of-app purchases, as a more cost-effective alternative to in-app purchases, where Apple, Google, and others charge exorbitant fees."

Platform holders like Apple take a hefty cut of purchases made on their stores, and Epic's been kicking up a years-long fuss over it. Apple is now both obliged to allow apps to point you toward external payment platforms on the web, and barred from taking a cut of those external purchases itself.

"With new legal rulings in place," Epic continues, "developers will be able to send players from games to make digital purchases from webshops on any platform that allows it, including iOS in the European Union and United States."

Of course, Epic is itself a platform holder that charges its own percentages for games and applications sold through its store, though it has made a point of offering more developer-friendly terms than many other storefronts. The company's sweetening the deal further as part of today's announcement, too.

"Starting in June 2025, for any Epic Games Store payments we process, developers will pay a 0% revenue share on their first $1,000,000 in revenue per app per year, and then our regular 88%/12% revenue share when they earn more than that."

That's great for developers, but historically Epic has had a hard time convincing end users that its platform is worth investing in. Whether that changes as doors start to open on iOS remains to be seen.

You'll find the 128GB model available for just $499 at Amazon right now, with the record-low price reflected across all colorways. Everything's still in stock right now, but the more popular versions (Space Gray) will start to buckle once availability starts to run low. Considering this is an unseasonably low rate on one of the best gaming tablets on the market, these could fly off the shelves.

I've seen a $100 discount on the previous generation M2 model before, but that only came during larger sales events later on in the device's life. This is an early discount and based on past sales, it will likely only drop a further $20 as the tablet gets older.

Should you buy the iPad Air?

The iPad Air was always an awkward middle child between the entry-level base model and the top-shelf Pro. However, it's carved out its own niche in the last few years. Now, with the full power of the M3 processor (and a larger 13-inch version available) that use-case is a little less clear cut.

In short, the iPad Air is for those who need a more substantial tablet at their fingertips, but don't need the fancy display features of the Pro. It's significantly cheaper than Apple's flagship, but can still easily keep up with more demanding workflows and heavy apps like Adobe.

If you need a tablet for note-taking, schoolwork, gaming, or lighter content creation, it's a fantastic option. I've been using the iPad Air for some time now, and it fits me perfectly. When do ranked seasons change in PTCGP?

Ranked seasons reset every month, and if the serial numbers are any indication, will be timed with new card expansions accordingly. You can get a specific indicator of when a current season ends by doing the following:

1. Select Ranked Matches under the Versus Battle Menu
2. Press the Question Mark in the top right
3. Select "Event Details"

This will tell you the duration of the current season. In this case, Season A2b will end on April 27, 2025, with Results and Rewards going live on April 30.

Pokemon TCG Pocket ranked bots

Ranked Matches in PTCGP pocket will often put you against bots if it's struggling to find a match for you. The game won't tell you if it has, but there's some pretty obvious signifiers that can give it away:

• They have a generic username like "Tom" or "Alice"
• They don't have any emblems
• They have multi-type decks without any real strategic coherence

There's no way to ensure ranked matches against bots, but ultimately it's always to the benefit of the player, as bots tend to be incredibly easy. If you come up against one, you're very likely to get a win. However, be sure that it is a bot and don't let your guard down - it might be a cunning player with a build you haven't seen yet.

The best Pokemon TCG Pocket ex Starter deck is probably the Dark-type Paldean Clodsire ex deck, at least at time of writing, but in reality the answer is a lot more complicated than that. There are nine ex Starter decks in PTCGP that players can pick between once they complete the associated challenge missions, but like starters in the other games, this is a careful choice to be made - as you can only pick one. What ex Starter deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket should you choose?

The best ex Starter deck for players to choose in Pokemon TCG Pocket, having studied all nine of them, is the Dark-type Paldean Clodsire ex deck, at least by a small margin. However, the Charizard and Giratina decks are also strong contenders, with a very minor difference between them in power. These decks are fairly well balanced, so there's no very obvious standout right now, and none that are going to get into our list of the best Pokemon TCG Pocket decks on their own without major modification.

Ultimately though, choosing an ex Starter deck is more about the cards than the deck itself. When you choose a deck, all 20 cards within it are added permanently to your collection, and can be used freely - meaning that you can put them in decks you make yourself… so if you have all the cards in the Clodsire ex deck, it means there's no point in choosing that one, as you'll only get duplicates. Look at the cards you have and the cards you want, and choose accordingly.

Keep in mind that this event and the chance to earn the Deck Ticket is only live until April 27, 2025, and the ex Starter decks will only be in store for another week after that. To be clear, none of these function differently to non-shiny versions - they're just an aesthetic variation that gives you bragging rights on the battlefield. And yes, non-shiny versions of these cards will also be present in the expansion set, so it's still fairly easy to get them if they turn out to make up the new Pokemon TCG Pocket best decks.

There are two exceptions to this, specific Shiny cards which are earned in different ways:

• Shiny Mewtwo ex: A promo card and part of the Paid Poke Gold Package in the shop. You'll have to pay money to obtain it - right now there's no other option.

It's officially live and part of the game as a free update, where players can now unlock Shiny cards in PTCGP, as well as many other cards that aren't Shinies. This new expansion has all the details laid out below, so you know what to expect from those packs and the way it works. The Shining Revelry update for Pokemon TCG Pocket is live right now, having been made part of a public update on the following release dates and times:

The update itself is free, though of course Booster Packs are limited in the usual manner, determined by a timer and then by your willingness to earn and spend the various Pokemon TCG Pocket currencies.

Shining Revelry details, cards and features

Here's the key details on what the PTCGP Shining Revelry update brought to the game:

There are also Starter Deck Missions going live the day after the Expansion. These are limited time missions that have to be completed within one month of Shining Revelry's launch, but will earn you a Deck Ticket. You can redeem this for any one of nine "Starter Decks", and earn every Card in that deck to be added to your collection. Considering every deck includes an ex card, this is definitely going to be worth doing.

Finally, we're seeing the addition of Ranked Matches and matchmaking, where players can battle against players of a similar skill level. These matches will be broken into Seasons, with players earning an emblem at the end depending on the rank they earn. The Triumphant Light expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket will be out soon, being the mid-season new cards that mirror the Mythical Island additions added to the game at the end of last year. Triumphant Light appears ready to expand on the Gen 4 and Sinnoh Pokemon that were added with the Space-Time Smackdown expansion last month, and adds major Pokemon up to and including Arceus: the God of all Pokemon, which surely won't be overpowered. Here's all the details revealed so far about the Triumphant Light booster pack expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket:

The big thing that has yet to be revealed is how many cards will actually be a part of the new booster set, but if the Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island expansion is any indication, expect somewhere between 80 and 100 new cards, including rarity variants.

The big sell of the Triumphant Light expansion is Arceus ex, a card adaptation of the divine god Pokemon that defines the series' mythology. Arceus ex is a colorless/Normal-type Pokemon, and has the unique "Fabled Luster" ability, meaning it can't be affected by any special conditions. More notably though, much of Arceus' power is tied to "Link Abilities", passive powers that it triggers in certain other cards from the expansion. For example, the Triumphant Light version of Raichu has the "Resilience Link" ability, which reads "If you have Arceus or Arceus ex in play, this Pokemon takes -30 damage from attacks." Different Pokemon will get different buffs in Arceus' presence, though none of them seem to impact Arceus back (at least as we've seen so far). Will this be enough for Arceus builds to find their way into the Pokemon TCG Pocket best decks tier list? It's hard to say right now, especially with Colorless or extremely type-diverse decks rarely getting much play in the meta. Still, Arceus might be powerful enough to break through.

The Triumphant Light booster expansion is out at 10:00PM PST on February 27, 2025, though there is one feature that will be coming later: Ranked Matchmaking, meaning players will be able to have games in Pokemon TCG Pocket with players of a similar skill level. The best Palkia ex deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket uses the same method as many meta-breaking water-type decks - flooding energy into a high-cost ex card to unleash late-game abilities far earlier than they should normally happen. Palkia's ability is about as high cost as they come - four energy and discarding three every time it's used - but it does huge damage to both the enemy active Pokemon and all their benched teammates. There is definitely a play here, if you can set it up. With that in mind, we'll explain how to make the best Palkia ex deck in the current PTCG meta, as well as what cards go with it and how to play it strategically.

How to make the best Palkia ex deck in Pokemon TCG Pocket

The best Palka ex deck in the wake of the Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown is built with the following cards:

There's a little space for experimentation in the build, depending on how you want to focus your efforts. After all, several of the highest-ranking Pokemon TCG Pocket best decks are Water-types with a similar focus, so there's space to mix them up. Try adding Starmie ex and Staryu in place of Eevee and Vaporeon if you want a more aggro/early game focus, for example, instead of energy control. Alternatively, try items like the Giant Cape to increase Palkia's endurance and ensure it survives long enough to win the game for you, rather than getting taken out too early.

Ultimately though, you shouldn't mess with the core principle - rapid energy generation for Palkia, so it can unleash its main Dimensional Storm as early as possible. Misty and Manaphy are pretty integral to this idea, so keep them in the deck at all costs.

Palkia ex deck strategy and tactics

Once you're playing with this Palkia ex deck, the strategy here is relatively simple: ideally you want Manaphy in your opening hand and Palkia on the bench, so you can start channelling energy to the Palkia straight away. Use Misty to speed that up even further, and use Vaporeon to swap energy around between cards to get yourself over that final hump.

The actual moment that you bring Palkia into play will depend on the situation. Discarding 3 energy every use means that you'll probably want at least 5 ready before bringing it out into the active spot, but sometimes circumstances don't allow it. Of course, once you've used Dimensional Storm, you can then use Cyrus to force a wounded, weaker Pokemon into the active spot and try to finish it with the weaker Slash attack.

To summarise, the best Palka ex deck in PTCGP also includes Manaphy, Eevee and Vaporeon, and quickly supplies Palkia with energy to use its devastating Dimensional Storm as early as possible. This makes it one of the most powerful decks to emerge from the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, rivalled only by the Pokemon TCG Pocket Darkrai ex and Weavile ex deck.

The best Pokemon TCG Pocket Darkrai ex and Weavile ex deck is also the best build for dark-types as a whole, and one of the most powerful in the current meta. In the wake of the Space-Time Smackdown expansion, these two cards, combined with Spiritomb, have taken the leaderboards by storm and quickly become one of the best decks around.

So considering that the Weavile/Darkrai pairing is now arguably the best of the best Pokemon TCG Pocket meta decks, it's good to understand how it works and what the components are, even if you don't have the cards yet to build it yourself (as you'll probably find yourself going up against it more than once). With that in mind, here's the best way to build the Weavile ex and Darkrai ex deck in PTCGP, and what the strategies you'll need to use are.

To make the best Darkrai ex and Weavile ex dark-type deck in PTCGP, you should use the following:

All the major cards here come from the Pokemon TCG Pocket Space-Time Smackdown set, so you'll need to open more than a few packs to fill this out (or alternatively have them sent over by friends via the Pokemon TCG Pocket trading system).

If you're looking for substitutions for this deck, it's tricky to find ones that suffice. The main goal here is to have Weavile or Spiritomb up front and Darkrai on the bench damaging with its ability, so finding other cards that replicate these effects is difficult, especially with Dark-types. Murkrow and Honchkrow can work, but this is a lesser choice: the deck won't be as good, especially depending on what it is you're swapping out to fit them in.

The ultimate strengths of this deck build are a strong early game and good board control. You do a lot of damage from the start, and cards like Cyrus and Pokemon Communication let you keep control of the placement and swap cards out. There's not much set-up required beyond evolving Sneasel once into Weavile, and once that little element is over, all you need to do is to keep firing off damage. Plus, Dark types are usually strong against very common Psychic decks like the meta-topping Pokemon TCG Pocket Mewtwo ex deck.

The downsides of the deck aren't many, but they do exist. There's not much late-game "killshot" powers, none of the cards are really tanky, and a little bit of prep still means that there's a short space to be disrupted.

Darkrai ex and Weavile ex deck strategy and tactics

Once you're playing with this deck, the key is to control the board and unleash a stream of relentless damage from an early phase. You don't do much in the way of heavy impacts, instead starting an early barrage of chip damage that can hurt both active and benched Pokemon, refusing to give your opponent the chance to recover.

Weavile ex is really important here, as it does extra damage to injured Pokemon, and should generally be the one you want in the active position. Once there, use Darkrai's nightmare Aura to do a small amount of damage to the opponent, then Weavile follows up with an empowered attack. If that Pokemon is pulled back to the bench, use Cyrus to drag it back out to the active pose to keep up the assault. If a Pokemon is damaged, try to finish it off as a priority without letting up.

From your opening hand, it's best to start the game with Spiritomb. Doing 10 damage to every Pokemon isn't much normally, but that little sliver is what opens the board for Weavile ex to be devastating, a Pokemon which you can evolve on the bench before bringing it in soon afterwards. Having softened the enemy, Weavile will wreck their strategy well enough.

There's no doubt about it, mobile gaming continues to climb to incredible heights - both in active player numbers and revenue. With Microsoft insisting that even your toaster is an Xbox, the days of waiting to get home before enjoying your favorite titles on a console may well be behind us. But are tablets the best way to take advantage of this portable shift? Perhaps not. Handhelds are rapidly taking over the portable gaming space, shunting mobile thumb tappers out the way with full Triple-A releases right at your fingertips. But the best gaming tablets still have their place on the shelves - even if they've had to fight for it over the last few years.

These devices provide larger screens, more RAM, and better battery life than mainstream smartphones, but while mobile gaming continues to shoot for the moon, tablet sales are keeping their growth modest. A couple of years ago, this industry was in danger of slipping into decline. In February 2024, it was revealed that both Apple and Samsung experienced a shrink in their tablet shipments over the course of 2023 (IDC), with -29.3% decline for the former and -6.6% for the latter - mobile gaming revenues took a smaller -2.1% hit in the same period (Newzoo). Both sectors are back on the up, but mobile gaming is moving faster - by 2029, Statista expects the number of mobile gamers worldwide to reach 2.4bn, continuing an annual growth rate of 5.56% compared to the 2.82% tablet growth rate in the same period (Statista).

It's no surprise that the responsibility of this mobile gaming market's growth looks set to be split by tablets and smartphones, but with more gaming handhelds hitting the market, and the Nintendo Switch 2 now firmly on the horizon, the gaming tablet could fade into irrelevance. I'd argue that would be the case if it weren't for two big factors; the re-emergence of mid-market games (helping tablets run more games natively) and the rise of streaming (opening tablets up to larger experiences separately).

Double-As are on the comeback

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Lies of P and It Takes Two are just a few examples of Double-A titles re-emerging as some of the most popular and talked about games of the last few years. These are simpler than Triple-A blockbusters but are still visually impressive and mechanically satisfying experiences that can feel high-end without requiring top-of-the-range specs to run well. That also means they'll generally run fine on a tablet, and as more of these midmarket releases hit the shelves more players will tune into the fact that they don't need a console or gaming PC to play some of the biggest releases of the year anymore.

Apple's Arcade service is still largely indie-focused (though let's not forget that Balatro took the world by storm last year, earning itself a stack of awards in the process). But more midmarket titles are being added to the App Store itself all the time - Alien Isolation, Monster Hunter Stories, and Divinity Original Sin 2 are already mobile mainstays. If developers want more of these easier titles out on the market, and hardware brands are hungry for less demanding games to show off their shiny screens with, things could move fast in the next few years.

Stream if you want to go faster

Whether you love it for its convenience or hate it for its impermanence, streaming is here to stay - and it could be one of the first reasons you consider buying a gaming tablet. No, Microsoft, not everything is an Xbox - but it's undeniable that the Game Pass streaming service has changed things. It's the only subscription I regularly keep up with, and it's become the model for the likes of PS Plus and Amazon Luna.

With internet speeds rising, servers growing in power, and service systems becoming more sophisticated, it's now entirely possible to stream the year's biggest releases, without dropping a penny on hardware. You can do that via your existing laptop's browser or your phone, but if you're looking for a portable device with the screen specs to keep up with your favorite games, a tablet is a clear consideration.

The handheld problem

The state of both the midmarket industry and streaming services seem to be pointing towards a move towards more efficient games less dictated by hardware - but there's one problem. The gaming hardware market is moving with it. In the last few years alone we've seen a massive explosion of dedicated handhelds hitting the shelves - and different models will do a better job at running your games (both natively and streamed) than a gaming tablet.

And this is where we really get to the crux of the question. Should you buy a gaming tablet in 2025? Only if you need a tablet first and foremost.

If you need a slab for browsing the web, watching your favorite shows and movies, taking notes in class, and firing off the odd email, but you also want a device to play a selection of native games and stream the year's biggest hits, a gaming tablet is the most cost-efficient and rewarding options you can choose. The future's looking bright for these dedicated devices, and with cheap Bluetooth controllers and on-screen controls growing in power and dropping in price, the sky's the limit at the moment. There's never been a better time to be a casual player.

However, If you just want a device to play your games on the go or whenever the TV's already booked, a gaming handheld is going to serve you much better overall. These devices have built-in controls, game-ready refresh rates, VRR features at a lower price, graphics-oriented processing systems, and a level of control over individual power and cooling settings that you just won't find in a tablet - no matter how gamified its marketing has been.

The theme for this set is the Sinnoh Pokedex starting at Gen 4, with legendary Pokemon Dialga ex and Palkia ex headlining the arrival of well over a hundred fresh cards. Here are all the major details we've seen about the Pokemon TCGP Space-Time Smackdown expansion set.

This is a far larger expansion than the prior Pokemon TCG Pocket Mythical Island set that was released back in December 2024, nearly twice the size in terms of how many cards players will be able to collect.

Below, we'll go into more detail on all the most exciting features that have been noted so far, so players know what to expect.

Best cards in Space-Time Smackdown

We've seen multiple cards in the promotional trailer for the Space-Time Smackdown, which revealed the existence of all the following new Pokemon cards:

We can also make some educated guesses about what other cards might be added - the evolutions of certain cards, for example.

Of all the cards revealed, early glimpses make it look as though the best card in Space-Time Smackdown so far is Palkia ex. This is a 150 HP water-type Basic ex card, with two attacks: a 1-energy Slash for 30 damage and a 4-energy Dimensional Storm, which does 150 damage and 20 to each of the opponent's benched Pokemon, but does force you to discard three Water energy when used.

The continued existence of Misty, a card which can rapidly supercharge Water-type cards, is responsible for several of the Pokemon TCG Pocket best decks in play right now. And considering that Palkia ex is also durable and can immediately come out swinging with a 1-energy attack… yeah, it's clearly going to be a strong contender, even if it doesn't emerge as the best card.

Pokemon Tools in Space-Time Smackdown

While we haven't seen them yet, the flavour text for Pachirisu ex mentions and confirms the existence of Pokemon Tools being added to Pokemon TCG Pocket. These are special cards that have yet to be added to the game, in which you can add them to a benched or active Pokemon card on your team for a benefit. Assuming they work the same way as they do in the physical game, a Pokemon can only have one tool at a time, and you cannot un-attach them afterwards. In that degree, they are the equivalent of "Held Items" from the Pokemon video games.

Trading

The long-promised Pokemon TCG Pocket trading feature went live the day before Space-Time Smackdown. Our guide goes into more detail on that feature, but the following was confirmed in advance about trading:

"Releasing on Jan. 29, 2025, the new trade feature will allow players to trade their digital Pokémon cards with friends, broadening options for growing card collections in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket. Players will need to use two new items, trade hourglasses and trade tokens, in order to trade cards with a rarity of ♦1-4 and ★1 with cards of the same rarity. Upon release of the new feature, players will be able to trade certain cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions, with plans currently in place to expand the lineup of tradeable cards in future updates."

This means that players actually won't be able to trade cards from the Space-Time Smackdown expansion when it launches, and will instead have to wait for that option. It also means that all the Pokemon TCG Pocket rarest cards can't be traded, so if you wanted somebody's gold Mewtwo ex, you won't get it.

Once Human Twitch drops are special rewards that players can get after linking their accounts, allowing players to earn in-game prizes for Once Human by subbing and watching certain live streams. These rewards are usually cosmetic, rather than gear and items that can be used in-game, but anyone playing Once Human will get a lot of out of this (especially if you were watching Twitch streams anyway).

How to link your Once Human and Twitch accounts for Twitch drops and rewards

To link both your Once Human and Twitch account to make yourself eligible for the Twitch drop rewards, you need to do the following:

1. Go to this website
2. Scroll down to the "Step 1" and log in to your Once Human account
3. After that, go to "Step 2" and log in to your Twitch account
4. Confirm that you want to link the two accounts.
5. After this, go to Twitch and fulfil certain criteria to earn Twitch drops.
6. After having completed these, the in-game rewards should appear in the Once Human in-game mailbox within 24 hours (it may not be immediate.

At time of writing there are several rewards that players can obtain through the Twitch Drop system. However, aside from the Sub Drop, all of these are time-limited and will not be earnable after Feb 11 2025! You need to earn them before that point, though it's likely that there'll be more Twitch drops in the future.
