Konami is getting a bit of a spotlight for Prime Day deals so if you're looking to catch up on some of its latest titles, you're in luck. We're keeping an eye out for Silent Hill 2, which is one of the Prime Day gaming deals that has sold out since we started writing, but don't worry there are still a whole host of Konami games on offer with chunky discounts.

We've got record low on the new Silent Hill f, and even Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater. Whether you're looking for horror or action RPG, or something else, there's probably a Konami game here for you.

We gave Silent Hill f a glorious four-star review, citing its "terrifying yet beautiful foggy atmosphere" and amazingly gnarly creature designs. The combat has had some improvements since launch, but we've always loved its excellent writing. We've called it "some of the best horror I've ever played", which is pretty high praise from horror nerds.

Snake Eater also got a 4-star review, with praise heaped on its authenticity to the original. Modernization has happened of course, but there's plenty of original charm here. A faithful recreation warts and all lets say. Definitely worth a play through.

As the last few hours of Prime Day begin to fade, I feel it's my duty as a tech reviewer to try to make as many people aware of discounts that could actually save them money in the long run. Please read these next few chaotic paragraphs with a sense of urgency because I've written about so many deals this week, my brain is beginning a delayed melting process that's entirely unrelated to the European heatwave that's been running alongside it. Even so, I'm coherent enough to know that this might be one of the best offers I've come across. If you are shopping, or even at all interested in a new microphone for streaming and gaming, please read on.

The Maono PD200W is not the most well-known mic on the market. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that most people, even the ones in the know, do not know this thing exists. But they should, because it's a damn good microphone even if you don't consider its main selling point. It has wireless, USB, and XLR connectivity. Most mics only have two out of those three, or just one of them, and yet somehow, Maono's is cheaper than the competition and sounds pretty much just as good as the most expensive options.

I get it, you don't believe me that it can sound that good at this kind of price. Please allow me to prove it to you. Here's my good friend and freelancer, Alex Berry, talking into it:

I know what you're thinking. "Wow, what a lovely Australian voice this man has." Yes, I agree with you, but also, what a superb-sounding microphone that conveys that voice with so much clarity and rich depth.

Okay, but how does that compare to a more expensive mic? Well, here's Alex again, talking into a Shure MV7+ that's much pricier.

Sure enough, that one sounds a bit fuller, and the sound overall might be a bit brighter, but in my opinion, not by all that much. For reference, the Shure MV7+ costs $299 at full price, and $254 during Prime Day. Would you say it sounds $170 better?

Not to mention, the Maono gives you a third method of connectivity on top of the Shure's XLR and USB capabilities, and still holds onto that classy content creator look we all know from the Shure SM7dB.

If you are a gamer who talks with friends, if you are a content creator who occasionally streams or makes videos with voice-over for YouTube, if you're a professional podcaster and you need a spare, or on-the-go capsule for yourself or guests, I don't really know why you wouldn't go for the Maono PD200W. The way this thing is priced, it provides convenience, quality, and a professional, no-nonsense look to creators and hobbyists of all levels - and even gives beginners room to grow into an XLR setup - at such a dramatically lower cost than the competition.

To give you more context, one of my go-to budget-friendly mics I still recommend to beginners is the Blue Yeti Nano, which came out in 2018 to the tune of $99, and still sells for that kind of price. Shure's budget-friendly USB-only mic, the MV6, sells for $169. In other words, I have absolutely no clue how Maono can be making a profit on the PD200W, but if it's going to allow us to get such great mic quality and convenience at this price, we might as well accept the gift, no?

Elgato's Stream Deck family transcends the live streaming gear market at this point, branching out thanks to pure usefulness to the general PC gaming crowd. I think one reason why these nifty little desk assistants have been so popular is that they've never been particularly hard on your wallet, but with a full franchise of sizes on the shelves now, and almost all of them seeing Prime Day discounts, it's hard to turn them down.

Elgato has really shown up for Prime Day this year, because I'm not kidding, besides the new Stream Deck+ XL (which is honestly so big it's only going to be really useful for the most pro-grade users), you can get pretty much any Stream Deck model on offer at Amazon right now.

I've done the rounds and studied each one's price history data, and from what I can see, four of them have new historically low prices just now. That's out of the five I'm seeing discounted for Prime Day, so there's really never been a better time to try and grab one of them. Just keep in mind that you might need a Prime membership to make the most of these since they are official Prime Day deals, so take out a free trial if you need to. Prime Day ends at midnight in your local time (on Friday 26th) so don't wait around too long.

Whenever I take a photo of my office and a friend catches a glimpse of the Asus TUF Gaming Hatsune Miku PC accessories spread across my desk, I always get asked about them. That's not surprising as they're absolutely adorable, and the bright turquoise and pink color palette combined with the Hatsune Miku imagery is hard to ignore if you have any semblance of Vocaloid-fandom in your bones.

The set, which includes a mouse, keyboard, wired headset, and a matching mousepad, does suffer from that "style over substance" problem as they typically come at a cost that's more than you'd expect and therefore hard to recommend. However, I have good news for my friends and fellow anime dweebs, as the entire set now starts from just $24.99 at Amazon, and it's all thanks to Prime Day.

The Asus TUF Gaming Hatsune Miku line isn't going to equip your desktop rig with the most high-end accessories, however, it will massively up the cute factor of your setup, especially if you're a Vocaloid fan. I'm literally using these very accessories as I type these very words, and the Hatsune Miku imagery never fails to bring a smile to my face, even during the most grueling of work days.

Every piece here feels like it was designed by fans, for fans, which is exactly what you want from an officially licensed collaboration. Yet if I were to pick a favorite piece from this set of PC gaming accessories, it'd undoubtedly be that wireless mouse.

It's a little small for my hands, but it's 134 hour battery has served me well as someone whose PC is constantly in use for both work and gaming. I often forget to turn it off after a long day, and yet it's still able to carry me through for weeks on end.

When it has ever died on me, it's fortunately equipped with tri-mode connectivity, so I just had to simply grab its accompanying charging cable and hook it up to the PC, and it was back in business. That happens pretty rarely however, as that flashing Hatsune Miku icon is always there to remind me when the mouse needs a little boost.

I'm also a massive fan of the mouse mat. Not just because I like having detailed original Hatsune Miku art sitting on my desk, but because it's really easy to clean and wipe away any spills or debris. I'm pretty clumsy and yet still drink many a cup of coffee at my desk, and yet the mousemat has managed to survive unscathed. To this day, the art looks just as vibrant as it did when I first unrolled it.

What's great about Prime Day board game deals is that they make keeping up with a tabletop gaming obsession slightly more manageable on the wallet. While we've spotlighted some of our favorite board game deals that lean a bit nerdier, I have to admit that the classics like Monopoly still have a place. And, with big discounts, there's never been a better time to revisit the game and one of its newer licenses.

Monopoly has come a long way since the '30s. The iconic, economics-driven board game used to feel like simple reskins when adapting partnered franchises, with varying results. Now, a lot of the licensed Monopoly games introduce special rules and set-ups that fit the franchise, such as Dungeons & Dragons using a D20 dice, or the FIFA World Cup one using the idea of collectible soccer stickers of your favorite footballers.

Monopoly isn't just a single game type, either. Monopoly Junior is more approachable for younger players. Monopoly Deal is a (thankfully) speedier way to play with just cards. Monopoly Go, the mobile game, even has its own board game adaptation. Lego Star Wars sets usually fall into one of two categories: playsets for younglings or expensive, for-adults display pieces. Few straddle the line between both camps, but I recently discovered a kit that does.

The Lego Imperial Star Destroyer is, ostensibly, a playset. Despite a chunky price tag and incredibly screen-accurate design, a lot is made of its interactive features. Namely, it opens up to reveal a minifigure-scale bridge interior, has two spring-loaded blasters to fire green laser bolts at pesky rebels, and features seven minifigs - Darth Vader, a Stormtrooper, and nameless Imperial baddies that can be set up in opposition to the heroes in roleplay games. However, that level of detail and the inclusion of iconic figures from the original trilogy make it very tempting for older collectors as well. I'd argue that this model looks fantastic on display, and it's starting to border on midi-scale ships like the Lego Millennium Falcon when sealed up. As such, it's a great choice for both audiences... and that's something only the best Lego sets can claim.

All this puts the Imperial Star Destroyer into esteemed company; for me, it's up there with kits like the Lego Ghost and Phantom II and the Lego Dark Falcon. Both of those are similarly-sized ship models with playable interiors and interactivity galore, but each one looks phenomenal on display as well for older fans.

This isn't the first time Lego's pulled off such a feat with Star Destroyer, of course; there have been two before now, one in 2006 and another in 2014. The latter is particularly well-regarded by fans, and I don't think anyone knew how the brick-makers from Billund would top it. And yes, this follow-up is a touch smaller. But I'd say it's the best-looking version yet.

This summer marks a year since I bought a Steam Deck OLED, and in that time, I've only bought a handful of accessories to improve the handheld's comfort, playing power on the go, and durability. But with the price of Steam Decks rising, keeping costs low is more important than ever – which is why I've scoured this week's Prime Day sales to see how many of my go-to Steam Deck accessories are discounted.

Below, I've found and price-checked the six most essential Steam Deck gadgets that you can currently buy for $35 or below. You'll notice it leans heavily towards JSAUX products – that's because they make up the majority of my own kit, as they offer significant bang for your buck on a budget.

We're getting into the business end of Amazon Prime Day now, and that means discounts at the world's largest retailer and its competitors will all be disappearing soon. I've been scouring the shelves all week to find the best discounts that gamers should know about, but one category that's really impressed me this week is the best TMR controllers.

I've just checked through my list of favorites, as well as all of the other TMR pads I've tried, and I'm amazed to say that 7 out of the 10 are still seeing lower prices for Prime Day. You don't have long to make the most of these, however, since deals will likely vanish on the stroke of midnight tonight (Friday 26th). I've tried to localise these deals to Amazon, but not all of them are Prime-exclusive member deals, thankfully.

Before I run you through all of the options that are on offer, it might be helpful to explain which ones aren't. Of the three outliers, one is out of stock, one has been discontinued, and one is Valve's new Steam Controller, which is far too new and in demand to be seeing a Prime Day offer.

Gaming is getting more expensive every day, and when I learned that Xbox was raising the price of its consoles (again), I started scanning all the Xbox gaming Prime Day deals that I could with a vengeance. After all, with how prices are going, we'll need as much cash as we can, and with GTA 6 also looming, there is no way I'll pay full price for games if I don't have to.

It should come as little surprise that in the year that saw the launch of the Nintendo Switch 2, the house of Mario had multiple entries that made it into our list of the best games of 2025. If you didn't pick them up at the time, the good news is that you can do it right now - and at a discount price thanks to Amazon Prime Day.

The slightly less good news is that several of the best Switch 2 games are, somewhat unsurprisingly, made by Nintendo, which has long-since made its stance on discounts pretty clear. That stance, in case you weren't aware, is that reducing prices is something that other companies do, and that means that big first-party hits like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza aren't likely to be reduced anywhere you look. Even for Pokemon Legends Z-A, which is an older game and technically came out on Switch 1, I had to look a bit further afield.

But either way, there's plenty to enjoy at some good prices, including multiple full-fledged GOTY candidates like Hollow Knight Silksong and Hades 2. You might want to move quick though - Amazon Prime Day draws to an end this evening, so these deals might not be hanging around for too much longer. You might have waited a long time to get your hands on the games, but maybe don't wait on the sales quite that long...

The Prime Day board game deals are always welcome, as being into tabletop can be one pricey hobby. We've been spending the last few days picking out board game deals, but I've noticed that Unmatched has been standing out. This ever-expandable board game is as much a tabletop system as a game in and of itself, which does mean a ballooning collection can get pricey. But, that just makes it a good time to stock up.

The premise of Unmatched is simple. It's a unified combat system of abilities and manoeuvres that make for iconic face-offs between legends. Almost every set is playable on its own as two to four characters are included, but can also be used alongside one another for epic crossover clashes across your entire Unmatched boards and characters collection. In our Unmatched: Battles of Legends Vol 2 review, we said it's "a striking lesson in how designers can get maximum variety from simple rules".

Unmatched sets range from myths, historical figures, and licensed properties, including The Witcher, Marvel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and many more. Almost like the VS System many years ago, this makes for the tantalizing promise of proper crossover bouts. For a new player, I'd recommend getting a four-character, bigger set for variety, and it's worth keeping in mind the couple of 'Adventures' set introduce new co-op rules. This is how my life goes. I use a new keyboard every two weeks, then at the end I have to take photos of it. We're all friends here, I'll tell you that after all that constant work and play it doesn't exactly look photo fresh by the time I come to write up my final review. Dust is the enemy here, but we all know these accessories aren't exactly impervious to crumbs and other grossness - that's not what you want to see from some of the best gaming keyboards on the market.

A while back I got tired of tiny brushes, or de-capping every keyboard before I took photos of it. I picked up a $7 tub of goop, and I haven't gone back since.

There's one problem - the only reason I'd mark ColorCoral down. It doesn't last much longer than around six months.

After that, the gel becomes too soft, sticking awkwardly where it previously would have lifted straight up and becoming a nightmare on the hands. So yes, you will have to replace it eventually - especially if you're using it as often as I am. For $8, though, it's earned a permanent spot on my shelf.

Simply take that crusty old keyboard, switch it off, slap the gel on top (I like to move fast here to avoid leaving the goop to nestle too deep in between the keycaps), give it a little shuggle around, and lift everything straight out. All that nastiness sticks to the gel, leaving your deck as fresh as the day it was set up.

Just don't try it on straight switches - I did that once, it was a bad move.

2026 has been a rough year for hardware prices in general; however, I've been genuinely shocked by the amount of decent Prime Day retro gaming deals that I've seen this week. From price cuts on some of the best retro consoles like the Atari 2600+ to discounts on the Miyoo Mini Plus, we have been spoiled for choice. Super Mario Odyssey still remains one of the best games you can throw on your system, and with a Switch 2 update it'll help the newer handheld shine as well. This one launched with the OG Switch, believe it or not, and it's still as stubborn as ever on price.

The $59.99 MSRP has given way to a $39.99 sales price in Amazon's Prime Day Nintendo Switch 2 deals, but physical stock has all been snapped up. You'll still find discounted digital codes on the site, though.

I've recently slapped this chunkier grip shell onto my own Nintendo Switch 2 and that red-panelled back looks gorgeous in person. The casing is sturdy as anything as well - there's even little fold-outs for easy Joy-Con removal. It's dockable, but adds a little extra bulk to the unit as a whole so if you don't already have a screen protector on I'd add one as soon as possible. It slides nicely into the cradle, but there is more resistance to be aware of.

The Turtle Beach Airlite Fit is the best gaming headset we've tested in the budget category. We called this remake "secretly the Switch 2's must-play RPG" when we got our hands on a copy and for $19.99 it's among the cheapest titles for Ninty's latest system this Prime Day.

Sticking with Best Buy for a moment

I've also spotted Street Fighter 6 Years 1-2 going for its lowest price yet on Best Buy's competing Prime Day shelves. The store's Tech Fest sale has the Switch 2 version down to $29.99 right now, for a $30 discount on its $59.99 MSRP.

Listen, we'll level with you - the Switch 2 version is decent, but it's not going to beat the PS5 or PC for fighting game controls. If you've got either of those platforms to hand, Street Fighter is going to feel much more at home elsewhere. If you mainline your Switch 2 this is still perfectly fine.

Now over to Woot

Woot has the PowerA Advantage Wired Controller down to $14.99 right now - that beats Amazon's cheapest $17.99 sales price, and the black model is even more expensive. This is definitely a cheaper gamepad in the hands, but it's still the best Nintendo Switch 2 controller for those on a strict budget.

It feels far more hollow and its buttons aren't as satisfying as the Pro 2 Controller, but for a fraction of the price it makes for an excellent multiplayer pickup. Whether you just want a cheap option for a more traditional gamepad feel or you're stocking up on player 2s (and 3s and 4s), this is a price I can easily recommend for the wired model.

I'm still waiting for my favorite Switch 2 accessory to drop its price

The Genki Covert Dock 3 is one of my absolute go-tos for the Switch 2. It's a revitalized version of the original Covert Dock that allows for full new-gen compatibility with 65W of power and 4K resolutions supported. If you've never heard of it, it's essentially a tiny, pocket friendly dock.

Perfect for travel, all you need is an HDMI cable and you're good to go (with the included USB-C). It's the size of a regular outlet adapter, but allows for quick and easy docking wherever you are with the added bonus of a USB-A port for controllers and headsets.

Unfortunately, this one's difficult to get hold of. It's currently only sold via Genki's own site and hasn't yet hit Amazon. We're still at the full $69.99 price - but the previous generation regularly hit sub-$50 price points in Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals. It might be too soon for this one this year (it's still on backorder, after all), but it's definitely one to watch.

Alas, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 is just out of budget

The 8BitDo Ultimate 2 has been around the Prime Day block a few times, but I was hoping for a sub-$50 price tag this time around. It's an excellent Switch 2 controller, but that $69.99 MSRP has only dropped to $51.29 this week. That's still a record-low price on a well established model, though. It's dropped to the low $50s only a handful of times in its life, and only in the last few months. For a TMR controller with a charging dock included (as well as haptics and motion controls) that's pretty solid.

That's tough to find in a budget Switch 2 controller - normally you're paying the Pro premium. We awarded this cheaper gamepad 4/5 stars in our review - it's a solid entry level model with a few extra frills you won't find even further up the price scale. Hall effect sticks, motion controls, rumble, and a comfortable design make this a must-see, especially at $29.99.

Belkin has three clamshell Nintendo Switch 2 cases on the market right now, and from our testing they're some of the best in the business. Unfortunately, the main draw of this brand is its charging - and to pick up one of the 10,000mAh power bank-equipped models you're looking at a minimum of $52.24 (and a maximum of $89.99).

However, the brand's simple Belkin Carrying Case is down to $23.74 in Amazon's Prime Day Nintendo Switch 2 deals, offering up a 21% discount on a still-sturdy case with the extra benefit of a built in AirTag holder. If you need a simple option and don't want to invest in the full charging model, the best price of the year so far is looking pretty solid right now.

Slightly chunkier rear grips may also suit those looking for something more ergonomically minded.

This one's up for $19.99 at Amazon right now, a modest $4 off its original $23.99 MSRP, but still the cheapest it's ever been.

You're still saving about $20 if you grab this $37.99 copy of Super Mario Party Jamboree for the original Nintendo Switch and turn it into the full Switch 2 version via the $19.99 upgrade. All in, that's $57.98 spent, where Amazon is still charging $79 for the full cart in a Switch 2 box.

There are a ton of offers on Woot's site that this applies to, but this is one of the few dropping under $50 this Prime Day.

Amazon has listed this double-feature of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Sparks of Hope for just $9.99. These were heavy hitters back in their day - we called the first one an "unmissable Switch game" before giving its sequel 4.5/5 stars in our review.

There's no Switch 2 port in the works just yet, so you'll be running the older software. These are still well worth investigating, though - especially for less than $10.

PSA: Remember the Switch 2 price increases in September

Nintendo announced that the Switch 2 would increase in price from September earlier in the year. The $449.99 console will be jumping up to $499.99 in just a couple of months time. That's the exact same price you'll currently find the best bundle on the shelves, though. Jumping in now means you're paying the same rate, but scoring a free copy of either Pokemon Pokopia, Donkey Kong Bananza, or Mario Kart World at the same time.

While you're a little limited if you only look at Switch 2 titles, there are plenty of original Switch games seeing hefty discounts in Amazon's Prime Day deals. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is another OG title with a free performance update for Switch 2 players. The clever dungeon puzzler swaps Link and Zelda out for some excellent logic adventures. It's not one for lovers of classic dungeon crawling, but it's still an excellent time.

At $39.99 this Switch download is just a few cents off its lowest ever price - and this one rarely drops on sale. The last time I saw savings on the digital download was back in January.

Ninty hardware doesn't shed its price all too often, it holds its value for a serious amount of time. However, the Switch 2 Camera seems to be bucking that trend this Prime Day.

The first party lens has dropped down to $29.99 this week, a full $25 off the original launch price. That's the first time I've ever seen it on sale for more than a few cents off. If you've just picked up a Switch 2, or you're keen to finally try a more serious GameChat sessions, this is a must-see.

Turtle Beach's PlayTrek 2-in-1 case is already seeing some solid discounts in Amazon's Prime Day deals. For the next 12 hours you can scoop up the larger travel buddy for $39.99 (down from $49.99) - a return to a record-low price we've only seen twice so far in its life.

This was a five-star review from Rosalie, with excellent adjustability, value for money, and versatility in offering both a simple clamshell case and an all-in-one bag.

Nintendo Switch Online members with the expansion pass can play a selection of Sega Genesis titles for free, but if you really want to make the most of that perk you'll want to have the right kit. Phil's been road testing the 8Bitdo M30, so far calling it "a near-perfect" gamepad for the system. The 2.4GHz connection keeps latencies low, the whole pad as a neat authentic look and feel, and it's even compatible with the original console if you're going old school.

Head to Amazon for Assassin's Creed Shadows

While Best Buy is winning for stock in some areas right now, Amazon still has the upper hand for anyone looking to eagle dive into Assassin's Creed Shadows on Nintendo Switch 2. The latest instalment has hurtled down to $34.99 on the site (whereas Best Buy is still charging $44.99). That's a hefty 42% discount, even if we are still a couple of bucks away from a record low.

We gave Shadows four out of five stars at review, with a fresh take on dual protagonists allowing for a multitude of different gameplay styles while still allowing for that classic stealth and more modern RPG vibes to shine through together.

I've actually been looking forward to a discount on this one for some time

I've been intrigued by Sonic Racing: Crossworlds for some time now, and Prime Day might be the day I finally pull the trigger. The Switch 2 Edition has jumped from $69.99 to $39.99 for the sale - a sturdy 43% discount and a brand new record-low price. I've only seen this one drop to $50 in the past, and as a relatively recently release today's offer is particularly impressive.

Sonic games like this don't hold their value for very long, so it's not completely out of the blue but still a sturdy discount nonetheless. With a little Mario Kart fatigue setting in, it might be time to try Sega's take.

The Switch 2 version of one of my favorite OG Switch cases is in business, with a 24% discount for the final few hours of Prime Day. If you hate bulking out your bag with chunky clamshells, this is the case for you.

It's super streamlined - there's no faffing around with an accessory pouch that will push against your thumbsticks, and the case itself manages to remain sturdy without requiring an unwieldy depth. Throw in a nice selection of color fades and you've got yourself a streamlined little Switch-saver.

At $28.11 you're spending a little more than you would a more budget-oriented PowerA or PDP model, but picking up a more luxurious feeling case as a result.

Only a few hours left to grab Metroid Prime 4 for its lowest price yet

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was a later addition to the Switch 2's lineup, but it's nevertheless seeing one of the system's strongest discounts this Prime Day. Amazon has the latest instalment for its lowest ever price here, a full $25 down from the original $69.99.

If you've ever been tempted to grab a 3D printer for making all sorts of goodies from replicas to wargaming terrain but didn't know where to start, I've got good news. A handful of the best beginner machines I've ever tested just got a massive price cut, bringing them crashing down to record low prices as a result of this week's Prime Day event.

3D printer deals aren't unusual during sales season, but I'm not used to such massive discounts at Amazon itself; normally, the manufacturers offer superior savings. Not this time, though; this time, Amazon's beating the competition soundly on top-tier machines. First up is the Elegoo Centauri Carbon 2, currently $399.99 at Amazon instead of $500. That's a drop of $100 on what is comfortably my favorite starter printer, and an all-time low. Next is the Anycubic Kobra X, which is an impressive 35% cheaper than normal - it's currently $299.99 at Amazon rather than $460. I'd say this is on par with the Centauri Carbon 2 in terms of print quality, so that's also a very tempting offer. Finally, we have the original Centauri Carbon. This is also going cheap with a record low price of $299.98 at Amazon. It's very similar to its successor but doesn't have the multi-color functionality out of the box (or a couple of bonus features), so is perhaps a good place to start if you don't want all the extra bells and whistles.

So, which one should you get? While I do have a favorite (we'll get to that in a moment), I think there are advantages to all the above. Want a smaller, more compact machine? While its footprint is similar to both Centauri Carbons, the Anycubic Kobra X doesn't have an enclosure so doesn't feel as bulky. Plus, its filaments are stored above - meaning they don't just out to the side as with the Centauri Carbon 2. However, that enclosure makes the latter quieter... and the addition of rubber shock-absorbing feet mean it shouldn't rattle as much on a surface when in use.

This multi-color functionality and those extras set the Carbon 2 apart from its predecessor (which is still very good, by the way). As a result, I'd say the original Carbon is great for the budget-conscious or those who don't need multi-color printing out of the box. It's quality is still way up there, so it's all about whether you're happy to sacrifice those improvements for the time being (you can buy a multicolor attachment and shock-absorbent feet for the original Carbon separately).

Personally, my favorite overall is the Centauri Carbon 2. I think both this and the Kobra X are just as good as each other in terms of actual print-quality, and they both make great use of multi-color printing. But being able to shut it all away, and the addition of noise-reducing elements like the feet, mean it's a more practical choice in a family home or with housemates.

If there were two mainstays in my childhood toybox, they were Star Wars and Lego. In fact, the two combined so often that a non-trivial number of tiny lightsaber pieces are still rattling around my collection. Armageddon is the latest one, and I'm still impressed at the value of this thing.

In terms of what's inside, two massive armies are included (Space Marines and Orks) alongside the full core rulebook, a lore primer for catching up on what's what in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, and a host of cards used to run both missions and campaigns. Yes, you can guarantee that official starter sets will follow at some point soon. But those won't include many of the items featured above.

I've been hands-on with Armageddon myself, and it's Christmas come early for fans. For starters, those miniatures are incredible. While the Orks steal the spotlight in almost every regard (they're endearingly scrappy, if not outright weird at times), there are incredible models on both sides.

In addition, I've been impressed with how refined and easy to use the core rulebook is. Besides giving a lot of thought to how readable it is, it's trimmed away all the backstory that traditionally gets packaged with these books - and it's much more practical as a result. Not having to cart around a several-hundred-page tome to matches is a relief.

Having those game and campaign cards in the box is useful too. These are sure to coset a pretty penny separately.

Actually, that's true of the entire Warhammer 40K Armageddon box set; we don't know how much this will all cost individually yet, but it's always a lot more than launch boxes like this wind up being. In other words, you're saving a lot here... especially with that discount.

Newegg's competing Prime Day deals are marching onwards, even though we're now in the final day of Amazon's sale. The FantasTech event will officially come to an end on June 28, so there's still a weekend of discounts to explore. I wouldn't get too comfortable, though.

There are loads of combination offers on this Ryzen CPU

The Ryzen 5 9600X is discounted from $279 to $219 at Newegg, but that's really just the tip of the iceberg. Newegg's combination deals are what's doing it for me this anti-Prime Day. We all know that PC building is pretty dire at the moment because of high component costs (blame AI, it sucks). But motherboard bundles that get you a lumped in CPU and RAM, or an SSD, are going to be really good value at the moment.

Along with the Ryzen 5 9600X, I'm seeing eight different motherboard combinations to choose from, so builders have loads of ways to save.

Speaking of PC building, this motherboard makes it easy

I've covered it a few times now, but I helped my friend build his first gaming PC, and this was the motherboard he had chosen. It made the building process very easy thanks to some tool-less QOL benefits like an easily removable SSD heatsink, a GPU release catch positioned intelligently, and clearly indicated error LEDs.

Besides that, it blends great connectivity with really good gaming features.

This is one of the fastest SSDs there is, so its price could actually be a lot worse

The Samsung 9100 Pro is the brand's beefed-up Gen 5 SSD, which has double the speeds of its popular 990 Pro gaming drives. I've tested it, it's one of the drives I use on the daily because it genuinely is that good, and I'd go so far as to say it's one of the best SSDs ever made.

A whole other conversation is whether or not you'll find uses for that sort of speed, because Gen 5 drives still aren't really necessary for gaming. Their speeds are impressive, and if you're moving files around constantly, you'll thank yourself, but they probably won't improve your loading times that much compared to Gen 4 NVMe options.

But still, for such a strong storage drive, the 9100's price could be a lot worse right now. Newegg is offering a quoted $330 saving on it, so that's something to celebrate in today's climate.

Is it worth buying a DDR4 PC right now?

Personally, I'd argue against it. I know that with prices being as high as they are, it can be tempted to buy a desktop with a modern GPU and DDR4 memory and an older CPU. I get it.

But I think the key thing when buying any PC component or system is futureproofing, and if you can save a few hundred more and buy a similar system with an upgraded motherboard that will allow you to get full use out of the modern specs of your rig, I think that's the way to go.

If you do opt for a DDR4 system, it's going to be a case of paying more than the difference you would spend on a DDR5 machine in a couple of years to get something properly futureproofed anyway.

Component prices can often be better at Amazon, but this RTX 5070 is a solid Newegg deal

As much as I'm stanning Newegg in this blog, I'm also not going to lie to you. Often, the best component deals do tend to lie at Amazon's door during seasonal sales, while prebuilt desktops and motherboard bundles are better at Newegg.

That isn't the case with this edition of the RTX 5070, however, which is over $600 at Amazon right now and isn't seeing much of a discount. At Newegg, you can get it with a $67 saving.

Fancy a 240Hz 2K OLED monitor? Good news, you don't have to sell a kidney to afford it

It's been the case for a while that OLED tech just costs more, and we've had to accept it. It does slowly feel like that's starting to turn however, and particularly with monitors this anti-Prime Day, things are getting more affordable. We've spotted a few OLED monitor deals across the retailers this week, but here's another one that has a good refresh rate for the money.

It's an Asus ROG Strix OLED with a QHD (1440p) panel, a 240Hz refresh rate, and it's 26.5 inches. It's currently wearing a saving of $150.

PSA: It looks like a PlayStation Store voucher deal is coming soon which could help with a GTA 6 pre-order

We've seen gift cards for Xbox and Switch in Newegg's Fantastech sale, but from a quick scroll through the upcoming deals that are to be released next, it looks as though there's a $250 PlayStation voucher that'll go live in the next drop. It doesn't say how much you'll need to pay for this, and it'll almost certainly be more than the cost of GTA 6 Ultimate Edition ($99.99 / £89.99), but I thought I should let you know just in case it helps you out with funds for a GTA 6 pre-order.

Still on that Steam Machine buzz? This case could help you build your own

The Steam Machine is finally available, but personally, I think you could get better value by going for a smaller traditional desktop PC instead. Whether that means buying a prebuilt mATX system or building your own mini-ITX PC is up to you to decide. All I know is, there are plenty of very charming-looking SFF cases out there that could provide just as much charm as the Steam Machine while cramming in loads more graphical power.

Take this lovely little Jade-colored ITX case from Fractal, for example. As cases go, it's a bit pricey, but it even has a similar design language to Valve's console/PC hybrid.

Both of the fabric colorways of the Fractal Refine (which was a long-standing best overall pick on our gaming chair list) are currently seeing discounts at Newegg, which is more than I can say for Amazon. Even the Alcantara version is seemingly in good stock and discounted here, and it can be particularly tricky to find elsewhere.

Meta Quest 3S discounts were short-lived, but you can still get them at Amazon without a Prime membership

We did see a Quest 3S discount at Newegg yesterday, but it didn't last too long. Elsewhere on the site, VR headsets aren't having much luck with discounts, but Quest 3S bargains still exist at Amazon, which I suppose is a plus.

The good news is that you don't need a Prime membership to make the most of them, so I guess I'll allow it. The retail pages do say "Limited Time Deal" on them though, so I wouldn't wait around. If you really don't want to give Amazon your money, the offer also exists at Best Buy.

This iBUYPOWER deal is still going strong

This iBUYPOWER deal I spotted earlier in the week is pretty good value in the grand scheme of the RAMpocalypse. It's got a 16GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti in it, as well as a top-drawer processor. Perhaps most crucially at the moment, it's got 32GB of DDR5 in it.

Yeyian gaming PCs have been a mainstay of Newegg's discount shelves for the last few years of seasonal sales, but I haven't heard much noise from this brand so far this year (probably for obvious reasons). I had to scroll pretty far to find it, but this prebuild has an RTX 5060 inside it, DDR5 RAM, and a 14th-gen Intel chip for under $1,000. Those are hard to come by these days.

HYTE's colorful cases are on offer

HYTE is known for its colorful range of PC cases that really let you filter down into an aesthetic you want. Its latest budget-friendly case, the Y50 (photographed above), isn't available at Newegg yet, but the Y70 with a touch display on its diagonal panel, and the X50 with lots of different colorways, are all seeing discounts.

Corsair's MMO mouse is on offer

As an MMO silly mouse enjoyer, I appreciate that Corsair has its own version of one. Newegg has it discounted to $49.99, which is down from a $89.99 full price. At Amazon, it is a couple of dollars cheaper, but you would need a Prime membership for it.

A little while ago, I talked about how the Quest 3S deals aren't really the same at Newegg compared with Amazon, but if you're looking for the beefier Quest 3 512GB, you can get a $50 gift card for your trouble?

Lenovo LOQ builds look great, and this one is at a reasonable price

I don't see a lot of Lenovo LOQ builds at Newegg, but they come in a very pretty chassis.

This one isn't getting a massive discount at Newegg, but it's another one to opt for if you're looking for as futureproofed a build as possible in these trying times. The only catch? Its processor is a laptop one, which might make upgrading a bit more tricky. Still, I'd rather have that than a DDR4 system.

We've shouted it out a few times now, but there's a good reason for that

The Fractal Scape is one of the best gaming headsets I've ever used, and it's one that I've kept firmly in my everyday gaming rotation ever since testing it out. It's seeing the same discount at Newegg as it is at Amazon, so if you're looking for a premium headset with a really great mix of features and compatibility, consider it.

My AIO cooler is on sale as NZXT refuses to pick favorites

It took a day or two for NZXT to bring the goods this Prime Day, but if you're looking for ways to upgrade your gaming PC that don't involve spending $700 on RAM, a motherboard, and a new CPU, a new cooler might be the answer.

NZXT's Kraken Plus comes in black and white, with and without RGB, and with two and three fan variants. It simplifies cable management into one simple breakout that makes installation a lot easier than previous generations of NZXT coolers, and it'll keep even the angriest Raptor Lake CPUs under control (I've tested this). It also has what a lot of PC gamers are craving these days, a wee display on the pump head for you to adorn with GIFs, pictures, performance stats, or whatever else tickles your fancy.

It's price-matched at Amazon and Newegg right now, so you can have confidence you're grabbing a good deal here even without a Prime membership.

NZXT Kraken Plus 240mm: $119.99 $99.99 at Newegg

Here's one to avoid

Okay, fine, I'll admit a small defeat. I did say earlier that component deals are often better at Amazon, and that's the case here.

Intel's Core Ultra 7 270K Plus CPU is seeing a Prime Day deal (for members, ugh), down to $264, which is a genuine discount from that chip's MSRP of $299. Keep in mind it only launched this year, so that's a darn good deal.

At Newegg, I'd go so far as to say it's seeing a phony deal. It's "discounted" and is still above MSRP; even with a promo code taking $5 off, you're still not actually getting a bargain.

This one goes to Amazon, sorry folks.

That Xbox voucher deal has vanished, but Switch players can still make the most

Yesterday, there was an offer for Xbox store credit that meant if you spent $83, you could get $100 in pure Xbox digital game money. Today, a very similar offer exists for the Switch eShop, and it looks as though a PlayStation Store voucher is on its way for tomorrow's deal drop.

An extra discount on this Corsair CPU cooler

The Nautilus 360 RS Liquid Cooler we reported earlier in Newegg's sale? It's just dropped its price even further. The $109.99 direct-to-board cooler took a solid $20 discount at the top of the week, but has just skipped down to $75.99. That's a full $34 off now.

RIP that MSI Vector discount

The RTX 5070 Ti MSI Vector that was previously going for $1,699 in Newegg's anti-Prime Day deals has just jumped back up the price scale. It's up by $40, to $1,730.81, without a discount notification. This one could be on its way out the stock room then. It's certainly not bad value with that little extra on the final sticker, but you're not getting the sale's best price here.

Pricing update! Another $20 off this 34-inch LG OLED monitor

I've just swept through some of my favorite Newegg discounts and come across an additional saving on this LG UltraGear panel. The QHD OLED is now available for $679, having previously popped up in Newegg's FantasTech sale for $699. That was already generous given the $1,199.99 MSRP - even if this one doesn't tend to stick at full price for very long anyway.

Some deals are sticking around, thankfully

While there are plenty of deals that are going as fast as they're coming, it's worth highlighting that some of the deals found on Newegg have continued to stick around for the past couple of days. Take, for instance, this Thermaltake LCGS build for $400 off.

The components aren't going to blow you away – RTX 5070 with a 1TB SSD, Intel Core i5-14400F processor, and 16GB DDR5 – but given how fast computer components are rising in price, it's a solid deal.

Your mileage may vary on RAM

While my general attitude with any of these major retailer sales is, "don't buy it if it doesn't wow you," computer parts are perhaps the exception to the rule. With all signs pointing to RAM and storage becoming even more expensive for the foreseeable future, it's hard to argue against a deal like this for 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM when there's every change it's twice as expensive within two years.

A friendly reminder about all deals

While on the subject of deals you want and deals you don't, a friendly reminder from your neighborhood deals hunter that not all deals are created equally. Just because something is marked down at a retailer, that doesn't mean it's actually lower than the standard price.

Similarly, it's really best to price compare across multiple different retailers for anything third party. While there are likely to be brands specific to each retailer, there are plenty that will be available in most places – and it's simple enough to check which has the best price.

Need a monitor?

If you're in the market for a new computer monitor, I frankly think it has more to do with what your setup looks like/what can fit on your desk than anything I have to say. That said, it's worth giving this ASUS 27-inch QHD monitor a look as it's the cheapest I've seen it lately on Newegg and has decent reviews.

Maybe don't buy a game console from Newegg

While I'm mostly focused on what deals are actually useful or meaningful at Newegg, it's just as helpful to point out any that you should avoid. In that vein, it's worth noting I've not seen one even remotely good deal on a modern games console at Newegg this week.

Everything from the Nintendo Switch 2 to the PS5 Pro has had better options elsewhere, Amazon included. If you're still in the market for one before prices inevitably rise even further, you're better off with other retailers.

Maybe do buy computer parts from Newegg

On the other hand, if you're somehow not already aware, Newegg is historically known as a source of computer parts and accessories and, well, everything you could really need to get a PC up and running.

There's a reason that the deals I've been highlighting thus far have been bits and pieces for a decent PC setup; it's what Newegg is known for and best at for a reason, in my opinion. It's good to shop around, but Newegg is typically competitive in that realm.

An LG OLED never hurts

Newegg also can have decent deals on TVs. Take, for example, this 55-inch LG OLED C5. This particular deal has been on our radar already, but it's worth acknowledging that it's 1) quite good and 2) still available currently. Not for nothing, it also comes with a free disco ball gift... for some reason.

A few extra bucks off this Gigabyte monitor

While some Newegg anti-Prime Day deals are being run off the shelves, Gigabyte's 27-inch QHD monitor has taken an extra discount in the final few days of the sale. Previously at $159.99 for most of the week, you'll now find the 27-inch panel for $151.99, that's $128 off the $279.99 launch price. Not too shabby for a KVM switching display with a 200Hz refresh rate.

One of my top component bundles has sold out

Newegg was previously offering a Gigabyte B850 Aorus Elite motherboard, Ryzen 5 9600X processor and Samsung 990 Pro 1TB SSD for $429.99 as part of its FantasTech sale, but that's now been stripped off the shelves. It's a pity - you're normally covering more than half that price with the rate of the SSD by itself on a regular day, but things are starting to move a little faster now.

An extra $30 off this MSI panel

That super speedy 360Hz MSI display has taken an extra discount at Newegg today, taking us under $500 for the first time in the sale. The MSI MPG 271QRX was previously up for $529.99, but those savings have clocked up to $148.40 in total now. That's a sturdy price for a high-speed OLED panel.

This time on one of the few gaming laptops under $1,000 this Prime Day. The Acer Nitro V15 is now sitting pretty at $899.99 (it was previously only down to $949.99). That means it's now well into the three-figure price range - and that's not something I can say too often about an RTX 50-Series device.

This is still an entry level unit, but with 16GB RAM and a 165Hz display it's one of the better value options for those playing light this year.

Oh, you thought we were done with additional savings?

The Gigabyte A16 Pro is also seeing a few extra bucks off the sales price I've been seeing over the last week. This one's a good step up the price ladder, but if you've been eyeing up the RTX 5080, it's well worth jumping on. I was excited when this rig dropped to about $2500 earlier in the week (it's rare to find such a GPU at this price these days), but now it's sailed down to $2,369. That's the best RTX 5080 gaming laptop deal I've seen this Prime Day so far.

Save $224 on an RTX 5060 Ti gaming PC

This is one I haven't spotted until now, but you're getting a sturdy $1,275 price tag on this AVGPC Hellfire prebuilt at Newegg right now. It's a budget-friendly mid-ranger with the full 16GB RTX 5060 Ti card giving you a little more headroom for more demanding titles. That's balanced with only 16GB RAM, though it is DDR5 at least.

Only buy this GPU if you absolutely need an RTX 5070 Ti this Prime Day

Newegg has the web's best price on the MSI Ventus RTX 5070 Ti GPU, but even with that account-holder's discount applied we're still $150 above MSRP. That's a given for GPUs these days, but it's still not the caliber of Prime Day GPU deals I would have hoped for even this time last year. At $899.99 we're $80 off Newegg's $979.99 listing price, while other retailers will still have you over that $900 boundary.

A solid OLED monitor for $379.99

The Acer Predator X27U is $170 off its original listing price in Newegg's anti-Prime Day deals this weekend. That drops us off at a commendable $379.99 price point, considering its 280Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time and QHD resolution.

Cheap SSDs are still hard to come by

Component shortages have caused SSD prices to skyrocket this year so far, so it's impossible to find sticks for the kinds of rates we would have seen in 2025. Truly 'cheap' SSDs are a myth these days, so we're stuck finding the lowest rates that are actually around.

Patriot is making a good bid with this slightly slower 1TB P410 model this Prime Day. It's only $10 off a $159.99 listing price, but that means you're on $149.99 for this one.

If you need a replacement ASAP, this is a solid contender.

PSA: This PS5 Pro 'deal' is not a deal

Newegg's listed the PS5 Pro for its usual (though now higher than launch) $899.99 MSRP, but with a FantasTech sale badge attached and a strange $1,092.99 'previous' price. That's just not true at all. Don't fall for this fake deal, this is the usual selling price of the PS5 Pro.

Ok, Amazon wins for this gaming mouse

The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 DEX is one of my all-time favorite gaming mice, combining that speedy sensor and those crisp clicks of the Superlight series with the extra benefit of a far more comfortable chassis shape. The extra curve in the left flank makes for a much-needed ergonomic grip, compared to the pill-shape of the rest of the line up.

That's why this is one I check every time Prime Day rolls around and, while Newegg was matching Amazon for prices earlier in the week, Bezos has just nipped into the lead.

The DEX is down to $119.98 at Newegg, but you'll find it for a few more bucks off at Amazon - a brand new record-low of $113.98.

Asus has a whole roster of Hatsune Miku gaming gadgets, and they're all on sale in Newegg's FantasTech sale. The brand's mouse, keyboard, and headset are all getting involved here, with prices ranging from $84.99 to $92.99. Each item is available by itself, but there are also bundle offers saving additional cash when you paint your whole setup turquoise.

This refurbished Lenovo Legion 5 is looking pretty solid right now

The Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 10 is one of the best gaming laptops for sheer value, but these OLED-toting machines are difficult to find now that the more expensive Gen 11 is on the shelves. Amazon Prime Day is in its third day now, with PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PC offers still staying the course - that's strange for an event that used to be 48 hours long. This year's event is a little different, though, the entire sale is running until Friday. That means we've still got time to take advantage of some of the lowest prices of the year so far, but these offers won't be around forever.

I know everyone's mind is full of GTA right now, but at the tonal opposite end of the scale, another, more family-friendly game is getting a very steep price cut as part of this year's Prime Day gaming deals; Sonic Racing Crossworlds. This cartoon kart racer has dropped by a mighty 71%, bringing it down to $19.99 at Amazon rather than $70. Phew.

Gaming on the go with an Xbox powerhouse

None of us were expecting a discount on the ROG Ally X Xbox handheld, but Best Buy has gotten around that with an open box discount bringing the console down in price by $100. This is a great example of why you shouldn't just stick to Amazon during Prime Day sales, because there are so many other opportunities to take advantage of elsewhere.

Speaking of games, Hades 2 for Switch 2 got its first ever discount as a part of the 2026 Prime Day sale. Sure, it's only $10 less than normal on Amazon. But seeing as it's literally never been cheaper than that before, I'd call it a bargain.

Got a PlayStation 5 and not tried Clair Obscure yet? The critically-acclaimed RPG is back to its lowest price as part of Amazon's Prime Day sale, knocking a solid $10 off the overall MSRP. That means now's your best chance to dive in if you haven't already!

Go Beyond with this mega Metroid discount

Huzzah, we finally have a good discount on Metroid Prime 4 for Switch 2. Nintendo's sci-fi sequel is now $25 less at Amazon, or an impressive 36% off overall - in other words, a record low price. Because of how stubbornly first-party Nintendo games cling to their MSRP, this is worthy of a shoutout.

Hey, want one of our top-rated keyboards for almost $100 less? This year's Prime Day sale has you covered, because the truly excellent Corsair Vanguard Pro 96 is currently an eye-popping 38% less than normal as a result of the event. If you're hunting down a premium plank, this is the ideal choice.

Get comfy with this new gaming chair

In need of a new gaming chair, or want to upgrade from an uncomfy dining room chair? The Corsair TC100 is currently an impressive $90 less at Best Buy. Yep, that's right; it's an anti-Prime Day deal. As I mentioned earlier, it's not purely about Amazon during this sale, because rivals tend to drop their own offers as well.

The truly excellent Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset was already sporting one of the best offers for Prime Day as was... and then it went and got even cheaper. We were staring down the barrel of a record low price at $249.99, and now it's dipped further to $237.49 at Amazon. That's a full $140 less than the full MSRP, which is good going.

Looking for a new mouse to supercharge your PC or gaming laptop- setup? Settling into a games night with Catan

We're getting price cuts on all kinds of gaming, too; that ranges from PS5 games and Switch accessories, yes, but the best board games are also getting in on the discount action. Catan is hands down one of the most influential board games of the past 30 years, and it still holds up today thanks to trendsetting mechanics... and now you can experience it for yourself for $25 less than normal thanks to the Prime Day sale.

A superheroic saving for PS5

If you find yourself craving some superhero action thanks to the imminent arrival of Brand New Day, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 might just be the cure thanks to a Hulk-sized price cut as part of the Prime Day sale. It's got $30 off MSRP at Amazon right now, though you'll need to add it to cart to see that bargain.

Escape into VR

Sometimes you just need to get away from it all, and VR is the perfect escapism. If you've ever been tempted by virtual reality but were waiting for a good opportunity to dive in, you can currently pick up the Meta Quest 3S along with Batman Arkham Shadow for $382.49 at Amazon rather than the usual $450.

I know it feels a bit off-piste, but if you want to create cool gaming-themed collectibles, props, or accessories of your own, it's well worth considering 3D printers - and one of the best starter machines I've ever used, the Centauri Carbon 2, is now available at a record low price of $299.98 at Amazon. That's incredibly good value for a machine that produces such high quality prints, but is still very accessible.

OK, Amazon's being cheeky with this one. It's making a big song and dance about the PlayStation Portal being on offer, with a 'add to basket to see price' caveat. Once you do, you'll see that the remote player has been reduced by... a mighty $1. No, I'm serious. C'mon, Amazon. Don't do us dirty like that.

One of our favorite tabletop strategy games here at GamesRadar+ is Everdell, and it's currently hit its lowest price in a year over at Amazon. More precisely, it's $38.91 rather than $70ish - AKA a 35% drop in total.

Part of the reason we love this game so much is its best-in-class worker placement mechanics. It also opts for cozy competition over hard tactics, which makes it a much more chilled out experience on the whole - but still absolutely gripping.

It's likely we'll see a few new discounts landing every so often at Amazon, as we do typically every day. However, this year's high-profile savings are likely already on the shelves. If you spot a price you like, it's unlikely to drop further over the course of this event.

Thankfully the digital download code is still discounted, though. Anyone looking to jump on some OG Mario from the early days of the Nintendo Switch should be taking note of this $20 discount. We're still a little way from the $29.99 record low but that kind of saving hasn't been spotted in quite some time now.

Both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are getting involved in Prime Day this year, but you'll be heading to slightly different retailers to get the best prices. Amazon has the newer release down to $59.88 for the first time ever, though you're looking at a digital code for that one. While Woot has dropped Breath of the Wild down to $59.99 on the physical edition.

That means the record-low prices I'm seeing right now will finish up at the end of today. If you spot something you like, now's the time to jump on it.

It's been a year since the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller landed on the shelves but we're still yet to see much deviation from that lofty $89 MSRP. I'm not surprised. It took years for the original Switch's gamepad to depart from its launch rate - this is Nintendo hardware we're talking about, price cuts are few and far between.

Sure, you've got your Joy-Con in the box, but those looking for a more traditional gamepad feel, away from the tall, skinny feel of the side-mounted controllers, are looking at a hefty bill for Ninty's best Switch 2 controller. Thankfully, third parties exist.

While GameSir and 8Bitdo have their own alternatives to contend with, the PowerA Advantage Wired Controller can't be beaten in the numbers department this week. As part of its early Prime Day Nintendo Switch deals, Amazon has this chunkier controller available for just $17.99 (was $39.99).

I tested this wired, cheap and cheerful, gamepad directly alongside the Switch 2 Pro Controller. I won't lie to you, the difference is immediately obvious. While the official model has a solid heft in the hands, this is a lighter, more hollow device. The soft landing and snap of the original's thumbsticks can't be matched by these larger, louder clacks. I mean, the navigation buttons have even been bumped down to the bottom of the controller.

But this isn't a luxury controller, and it's not priced as such. While I'm often hesitant to recommend it at full price (there are $40 gamepads that will take you a lot further), the value at $17.99 is indeed incredibly fair.

Anyone tired of cramping around a set of Joy-Con, or simply looking for more multiplayer options in docked mode, will be set with this budget alternative. You're making sacrifices against the full-fat Pro 2 Controller, yes, but you're also spending a fraction of its cost. Here's exactly what you keep (and even gain) and lose compared to the real deal.

Ultimately, the PowerA Advantage vs Switch 2 Pro Controller debate boils down to what you need from your gamepad. If you've got the budget and you want the best experience possible, Ninty's official device is still your best bet. Its controls feel smoother and lighter, its chassis offers up a greater level of luxury, and its extra features pack all the versatility of the console itself.

However, for the price, anyone just looking for a more convenient controller shape or a few extra sets of Mario Kart buttons will still be well served by the budget brands. After testing both, and tracking these prices, I'd say you're dropping about 60% of the features of the Pro 2 Controller, while spending 79% less than its MSRP. That's on the right side of value.

Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders are inbound at midnight (local time), and as you probably guessed, the privilege of exploring the streets of Leonida is not going to come cheap.

Rockstar announced that the standard PS5 edition will be $79.99, and the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition will come in at an eye-watering $99.99 when pre-orders go live at midnight local time on June 25. While we have no insight into the UK prices, you can probably expect to pay a similar £80 and £100 if I were to guess. Either way, it's going to cost a pretty penny, but ShopTop can help with that.

There's currently a £70 PlayStation Gift Card sitting at ShopTo for just £60.85 (ShopTo), a saving of a little over £9. If GTA 6 pre-orders were to drop to £69.99 tomorrow, that means you can get your copy for approximately £60 instead. Is it a huge discount? No, it's pretty insubstantial, but any help towards GTA 6 is one worth taking.

I was going to drop everything and grab the standard physical edition of GTA 6 tomorrow, but sadly, those are just going to be a download code in a box, according to Rockstar, so I'm opting for this ShopTo deal instead.

I'd much rather save £9 off the game, even though I'm really not a digital game fan in the slightest. I mean, I still have my physical copy of the very first Grand Theft Auto released way back in 1997, fold-out map and everything. Yet as much as I cherish my physical GTA copies, I don't quite fancy waiting to receive a plastic box in the mail with nothing significant inside it.

Grabbing this £70 PlayStation Gift Card deal instead won't add anything nice and physical to my game shelf, as the redeemable code will likely arrive in my email inbox. But the £9 I get to keep and put towards something else, like keeping in my account to help towards my monthly PlayStation Plus Premium fee, is a nice consolidation prize.

As you might be able to tell from the title of this site, we love gaming Lego sets. Whether it's Fortnite display pieces, Super Mario models, or Minecraft playsets, they celebrate the things we love best about these franchises and let us keep a snippet of that nostalgia on our shelf. Running D&D games is one of my favorite things to do, as is nattering on about my favorite modules, so the Prime Day sale is always a dangerous time; it gives me yet another excuse to ram adventures under everyone's nose and yell "look, isn't this great?" Anyway. Many of my favorite modules are actually on offer right now, and you know what that means. Here I am to wax lyrical about why they deserve a spot on your shelf.

If you ask me or my colleagues who also love rolling dice in D&D, these are the game's best products - if not highlights from the best tabletop RPGs overall. There's a bit of everything in this roundup; horror-tinged adventures to spook you, classic fantasy odysseys, sourcebooks full of goodies to put into your next campaign, beginner-friendly stories, and more. And as luck would have it, Amazon seems to have discounted most of them as part of its Prime Day sale. The savings may not be as steep as we're seeing for the latest Prime Day board game deals, but they're still pretty decent nonetheless.

When it comes to screens of any kind, it's pretty obvious that bigger is better. We've already been keeping an eye on some excellent gaming-ready TVs, and as the long-time proud owner of a delightful 34-inch gaming monitor for my PC, if I were in the market for a TV this Prime Day, I already know exactly what I'd be going for.

Hisense seems to be leading the charge with the best deals, with a pair of excellent 65-inch TVs that will give you a few options at a similar price point. First up is the U6 Pro Series; QLED, 144Hz, and Motion Rate 480 mean it's a solid option for gaming, while 4K, Dolby Vision IQ, and a Glare-Free surface mean it's excellent for movie night - or even movie day.

Alternatively, there's the E7 Cinema Series. It's pushing its TV specs harder than its gaming specs, but you're still getting the crucial 144Hz refresh rate, so this will definitely double up well. Crucially, it comes in a little cheaper - $600 rather than the $700 price tag attached to the U6 above.

Helpfully, both of these do come with scaling size options - I'd be opting for the 65-inch display due to a combination of price point and the amount of space in my house, but the E7 ranges in size from 50 inches at the bottom end all the way up to 100 inches if you've got $1,700 to drop.

Finally, however, I've got a slightly different option - if I had a little less cash to spend, I'd be looking closely at this Insignia F50. Still a 4K Smart TV with Alexa voice remote, its 60Hz refresh rate should still do you just fine for most console games, and the really good news is that it's substantially cheaper than the Hisense options (in fact, you could pick up an 85-inch version for less than either of the TVs I mentioned above).

Prime Day's PS5 game sales continue, and the discounts include some of my favorite games on the console. That includes quite a few big titles from 2025, which I'm surprised to see discounted as heavily as they have been.

With so much to wade through on Amazon, I thought I'd give your shopping a personal touch and recommend some PS5 games I've personally played and had a lot of fun with. As Features Editor at GamesRadar+, a big part of my job is staying up-to-date with new games as they launch - which means I've got the experience (see: great taste) to steer you right this Prime Day.

Prime Day gaming discounts are finally here and, like always, there are loads of discounts on accessories to choose from. Still, in 2026, there's no getting around that the best controllers are extremely expensive. It's not like the classic days where you could chew through third-party hardware. Now, most of those are pro or premium controllers that enhance play beyond the standard setup. Which to choose? Well, I'm already loving this Scuf Valor Pro controller that lives on my desk, ready for play at any moment, and it's at its cheapest price yet this Prime Day – so it certainly gets my recommendation!

Is it the best Xbox Series X controller ever? Not completely. But it's a sweet spot for me in being packed with features, easy to use, versatile, and with a hardy build – all at a good price point. I game so much, and am generally such a mess, that I need controllers that can keep up and won't break the bank if they need to be replaced. The Scuf Valor Pro hasn't let me down yet.

While I love other controllers too, like the Switch Pro controller or the DualSense Edge, I've ended up getting a lot more use out of the Scuf Valor Pro lately. I've been gaming on PC a lot over the last couple of years, which makes this pad's XInput appealing. While it's true that those other pads work on PC, the native support across apps with the Scuf Valor Pro means I don't have to jump through any hoops, especially when it comes to capture.

This is an Xbox controller at heart. That means on my Windows 11 gaming PC, I can just press the game capture button as I would on Xbox to save a screenshot (or hold it down for video clips).

With four back buttons built directly into the controller itself, and a button that cycles between pre-sets, there's customization here that means I can swap between squeezes for progressing through RPG text boxes or jumping in platformers easily. While some may prefer more modularity in controllers, at this price range, it's hard to complain, and I personally like how it helps the Scuf Valor Pro feel like a solid unit in and of itself. Nothing to shake loose here.

Plus, I just like the way this controller feels. I usually keep it wired up on my desk for simplicity's sake, and keep it perched on the edge. Several knocks have occurred, and it's survived some falls, all while still feeling great in the hands. I've used a lot of pads in my time. Perhaps at some point I will move on to something else. But, for now, this controller has been by my side through hundreds of hours of gaming. Why not yours, too?
