WWE 2K20 roster: every confirmed wrestler, including Hulk Hogan, Bray Wyatt & Mick Foley

Booker T

The sighting of a crown in the first WWE 2K20 trailer appeared to confirm Booker T for this year's game – remember, he was listed as King Booker in WWE 2K19. Ideally we'd like real-life brother and former tag partner Stevie Ray included for WWE 2K21, in order to re-form badass '90s WCW tandem Harlem Heat.

Braun Strowman

Former Wyatt Family member Strowman was the hottest character WWE had in 2018. Inevitably it failed to capitalise, to the point that Braun went completely unused on this year's Summerslam show. The 6ft 8in behemoth remains a force in WWE 2K20 regardless of his odd TV booking.

Bray Wyatt

This year's DLC packs comprise something 2K is tabbing as WWE Originals – and one of the first characters revealed was a swamp king version of Wyatt. Even better, Bray's 'Fiend' alter-ego, which debuted at Summerslam, is part of that same 'Bump In The Night' DLC. Cool.

Bret Hart

After endorsing newly established rival organisation AEW, most expected the legendary Hit Man to be axed from the WWE series this year – yet in a mild surprise he retains his slot for another 12 months. Good news as, for our money, Hart remains the best in-ring technician of all time.

The Brian Kendrick

Like Nikki Cross and Tommaso Ciampa, Kendrick was puzzlingly left off last year’s roster despite being under contract and the senior pro of its 205 Live division. He makes his way back in this year, and with numbers on the cruiserweight show thinning out Visual Concepts includes recent debutant Humberto Carrillo too.

Brie & Nikki Bella

March 2019 brought sad news for Bella Twins devotees as both announced their retirements: Brie to focus on motherhood, Nikki due to being "too old for all that travel" – and a serious neck injury. Even so, their popularity remains high, and past achievements ensure they'll be 2K series fixtures for a while yet.

Brock Lesnar

Lesnar captured the WWE Championship in a seven-second Smackdown Live demolition of Kofi Kingston in October - but his next opponent, sworn UFC enemy Cain Velasquez, arrived far too late to make the WWE 2K20 roster. Paul Heyman is back too, in a NPC managerial role.

Brutus Beefcake

The Barber is in, but be warned that the WWE 2K20 legends roster has been decimated. Axed since WWE 2K19 are Bam Bam Bigelow, DDP, Greg Valentine, Lex Luger, Mr Perfect, Rick Rude, Rick Martel, Rock 'n Roll Express, Rikishi, Sycho Sid, Tatanka, and Vader. Some stingers in there.

Buddy Murphy

Murphy’s 2K19 absence looked a foolish decision when he captured 205 Live’s cruiserweight championship in October 2018. After holding the belt for six months going into WrestleMania 35, there was no chance lightning would miss twice. He’s appeared before, alongside NXT tag-team partner Wesley Blake in WWE 2K16 and 2K17.

Candice LeRae

Title gold has evaded Mrs Johnny Gargano despite chasing NXT champion Shayna Baszler for much of 2019. She's surely next in line for the belt once Baszler moves up to the main roster - and can expect a Raw or Smackdown call for both her and hubby too, at some point in 2020.

Carmella & R-Truth

WWE's odd couple transformed themselves into one of the most entertaining acts on TV over the summer, thanks to an often-hilarious feud with Drake Maverick and wife Renee Michelle over the 24/7 title. Infuriatingly, the championship belt is not included in WWE 2K20.

Cedric Alexander

Former ECW boss Paul Heyman took over the day-to-day running of Raw in the autumn, and the spritely Alexander was an immediate beneficiary. Holding his own against elite workers such as AJ Styles and Cesaro suggest that a US title reign - and 2020 popularity spike - are imminent for the former 205 Live champ.

Ben Wilson

I'm GamesRadar's sports editor, and obsessed with NFL, WWE, MLB, AEW, and occasionally things that don't have a three-letter acronym – such as Chvrches, Bill Bryson, and Streets Of Rage 4. (All the Streets Of Rage games, actually.) Even after three decades I still have a soft spot for Euro Boss on the Amstrad CPC 464+.
