“Two For The Road”
Lost is another show renowned for its awesome cliffhangers, and all the season finales, plus Sayid shooting young Ben in "He's Our You" all received mentions in our forum poll. But the startling final few moments of season two’s "Two For The Road” is the cliffhanger that really seared its way into viewer’s collective memories. Michael, not exactly the show’s most dynamic character, leaps from being a footnote in Lost’s history to one of its major players by first shooting Anna, then Libby, then freeing Ben and then finally shooting himself in the shoulder. You'd expect the Spanish Inquisition before you'd expect that.
