Back in season one, when Heroes was still surprising us, rather than sending us into a coma, one of its trademarks was its cliffhangers (Hiro seeing the ravaged future being another contender for this list). Burt undoubtedly the most memorable was Clair waking up halfway through her own autopsy, her innards on display for all to see. Not an image you’re likely to forget in a hurry.
