The Division's Dark Zone: Chest locations and how to get Dark Zone keys

Dark Zone 01

There are four chests in the first subzone. They're all nice and easy to get to, and you can sneak around most of the enemies patrolling around them.

Chest #1 - E 31st St

This chest can be found alongside a building off E 31st St.

Head to the intersection of E 31st St and Madison Ave in the southeastern corner of the map.

Walk a little way to the west so that the burning building is on your left.

To the right of the building, you'll see a walled-off area. Pop down here.

Follow the path to the end to find the chest.

Chest #2 - W 32nd St

This chest is stashed in the underground.

Head to the underground entrance on W 32nd St, on the western side of DZ01.

Pop down the stairs towards 33rd St Station.

At the intersection, take a right.

Make your way down the staircase on the left to get to the platform below.

Walk a little to the left towards the pile of yellow bin bags.

The chest is against the wall.

Chest #3 - W 34th St

The quickest way to reach this chest from street level is on W 34th St in DZ02.

The entrance is just down the road from the checkpoint.

Head down the stairs to 33rd St Station.

Follow the path around to the right.

Take the next set of stairs down to the platform below.

At the bottom of the steps, go all the way around to the left so that you're heading into the tunnel that runs alongside the stairs.

Go through the doorway on the left, next to the train.

Continue across to the doorway opposite.

The chest is in the corner by the door.

Chest #4 - Blockade

Head to the Blockade landmark at the northern edge of DZ01.

It's along 5th Ave, between E 33rd and W 34th St.

The area is a military checkpoint.

Head over to the west side of the street.

The chest is behind some sandbags, next to a dead JTF officer.
