Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order walkthrough: Kashyyyk

Kashyyyk opens with a fairly linear set piece, so once the cutscenes have played out swim to the vine covered AT-AT ahead and climb up the front leg on the right. Follow the vines around to reach the top and when the stormtrooper is shot out of the hatch, go in. Climb through the open gap with the speeder bike and drop down.

Head along the vent until you reach a hatch that will let you spy on some Stormtroopers. Climb out and kill them, then head through the circular door to reach the pilots who you can knock out to take over the AT-AT.

You’ll have to take out the AT-AT ahead to move on then leave the water by the path on the left blasting everything Imperial shaped, mainly its boxy grey troop transports and an AT-ST along the way. Just follow the red blaster bolts back to their source if you’re not sure what to kill. Saw Gerrera will make an appearance and after that just keep heading forwards shooting everything, including a bridge blocking your way. Eventually you’ll reach a landing pad full of explosive red barrels to shoot and a ton of Stormtroopers. Just keep blasting everything until the Imperial transport ship tries to leave then focus on that. When you defeat it, it’ll crash into the AT-AT and the section will end.

Once you can move, head down the big metal ramp towards the forest and take a right at the bottom. Look for a Scomp Chest next to the flaming wreckage with a BD-1 Sundari Dawn skin in it. Then go left and follow the wall around to the right, jumping over a giant root to find another Chest with Poncho Material Rainforest in it.

Head back to the ship and go behind it to the left, past the wookies to find an open door. There’ll be a corridor on the right with a red forcefield you can’t get past until you unlock BD-1’s Overcharge ability, and another door you can go through to enter the Forest Trench region.

Ahead of you in the Forest Trench you’ll see a Wall Run that will take you to a machine BD-1 can scan to discover you can’t use until it has power. Go back across the Wall Run and look for a door partially hidden by cables you can cut through.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order walkthrough - Overcharge upgrade location

It’ll take you into a room where you’ll be jumped by a giant spider you need to kill. Once it’s dead you’ll be able to access the Bench and get the Overcharge upgrade for BD-1. This will let you turn certain machines on and off so climb the wall left of the Bench and use Overcharge to move the zipline to a position you can use it, then turn it off to de-electrify the cable, to get out. You’ll see a Force Essence on the platform above the Bench but you won’t be able to get that until you have the Powered Zipline upgrade for BD-1.

Continue up trench and use Overcharge to move the giant wheel until you can use it as it as a Wall Run, then turn it off to get across. Continue forward across a giant branch and you’ll see a Rope ahead and some large glowing beetle like creatures that will explode when you kill them.

Swing across and you’ll see a Rebel soldier on standing on a high ledge. Take the Wall Run to the Climbable Wall and meet Saw Gerrera for a cutscene. When it’s played out head through the door where you’ll find another door you can Force Push. Head through and over the beam to enter the Imperial Refinery area and a new a Meditation Point.

Turn right and you’ll see a large pipe you can Force Push down to create a bridge. Continue on and you’ll reach a door with a group of Stormtroopers to kill. Before you go down, check right for a hidden door behind some vines you can slash through to reach a Force Echo. You can then head along the passage to come out among the Stormtroopers or go back up to the ledge to use the Rope for a drop attack. Once they’re all dead check back towards the ledge you were on to see a Scomp Crate with the Lightsaber Emitter Passion and strength

Go through door and follow the corridor along where you’ll be attacked by a group of Scout Troopers. Kill them and move on but be aware the last one at the end is a distraction for an ambush from the right. Also to the right you’ll see a rotating arm and Meditation Spot you can use but it leads to a shortcut you haven’t activated yet so it’s a dead end for now. So go through the door instead to meet a Purge Trooper.

Once the Purge Trooper is dead head through the narrow gap to the right of the door and you’ll enter an area where Stormtroopers are fighting flame bugs. Leave them to work it out and go over the beam ahead to reach a Scomp Door you can slice open if you have the Scomp Link and find a Crate with the Lightsaber Material Matte inside. Slash the wires at the back of the room to find a secret area with another Crate containing BD-1 Skin Stygeon Prime.

Go back into the main room and climb the red panels so BD-1 can reach an Overcharge panel and turn on the giant drill. It’ll move and reveal a red lit opening behind you can now climb up to where you’ll find a fan you can Force Slow to get though. You’ll enter an area full of Stormtroopers fighting spiders and a Meditation Spot

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order walkthrough - Kashyyyk Terrarium Seed

Once everything’s dead there’s a secret-ish area here you can reach either via the Wall Run below or the ledge. Take the ledge route, which means finding an almost impossible to see crevice at the back, so you don’t get ambushed by three spiders on the other side, one of which will be a legendary beast. In this are you’ll find a Force Essence and a Crate with the Poncho Material Commando.

At the front of this area you’ll see the exit to where you were before on the right or some water you can swim across to reach a Climbable Wall and bypass the Wall Run. Head back to where the Stormtroopers and spiders were fighting for now, though, to find a Terrarium Seed Bonshyyr to scan and a Crate with the Lightsaber Material Doonium

Wall Run to the platform and Force Slow the rotating structure to reach the other side. Wall Run to the Climbable Wall panels and move round, under the windows, to get in at the end. Kill all the Stormtroopers, and follow the corridor around to reach the front end of the machine you unleashed earlier. Force Slow the cutting saw to get through and climb up to the Meditation point and a shortcut door you can’t open yet.

Look for a pipe sticking out that reaches the Climbable Wall on the other side that takes you up to the ledge. You'll find a Scout trooper and a Purge trooper on other side that you can Force Push into space if you’re quick. The door on the right opens the shortcut back into the area you just left with the rotating bridge. There’s a Life Essence upgrade to the right you’ll be able to access in a second and, if you take the Wall Run to the left, you’ll find a Force Echo

You can also head over the pipe to the right to reach an area covered in vegetation you can cut through. Head left to fight some fire beetles and a slug monster to fight, and a Scomp Crate with the Lightsaber Switch Passion and Strength inside. Head on around the back through the tall undergrowth to find a vine covered opening you can cut through and slide down to reach the Overgrown Pass area. There’s a Force Echo, Rope and a bridge you can’t use until you have Force Pull. The story will bring you back here when you have it so for now go up the climbing wall to the left and use it to reach a muddy tunnel that will take you to the Life Essence you saw earlier, and a pipe you can Force Push down to get back to the shortcut door you came out of.

Now go back to the room where the Purge Trooper was and through the other larger door to reach the wookie prisoners (this will also count as opening a shortcut although it won’t be relevant just yet). Interact with the console to release a security droid that you'll have to kill before you can actually release the wookies. A cutscene will play out and then you’ll be able to get out the door at the end.

Outside the wookie prison you’ll find a shortcut door on the right you can open by grabbing the rope and swinging around. On the other side is an upgrade bench to unlock a BD-1 upgrade Slice Security Droid. You can either cut the crane rope to make a shortcut down below, or open the shortcut door to head back to where you were. From there, directly ahead of the door is a platform you can drop down to find a Force Echo from the body of a dead Wookie.

On the left is a Climbable Wall you can use to to a higher level with a Wall Run that will take you to an area with more Stormtroopers. There’s also a second Climbable Wall to the left you can reach if you have the Jedi Leap and climb to find another Force Echo on the platform overhead. The main target though will be the troopers ahead.

Fight your way to the other side where you’ll pass a Crate on the right you can’t reach until you have the Jedi Flip ability (which contains the Mantis Paintjob Bounty Hunter). You’ll find a door to a lift that will take you down to a Crate with the Lightsaber Sleeve Passion and Strength 2 and a shortcut door you’ll open later. Head back up and use the panel you can Overcharge to start the central platform spinning.

Now that platform is spinning head back over using Force Slow and use the pipe on the left to go around and approach it at 90 degrees so you can get to the Climbable Wall and use it to reach the opening on the right where Saw is fighting. There’ll be a door you can Force Push open and a left turn on the other side where you’ll find some Stormtroopers and a Security Droid.

Once the room’s clear, activate the console to release the rest of the wookies. Take the lift at the end down, then activate the Overcharge console at the end of the corridor to turn the lift on in the space where you crossed the pipe to reach the Purge Trooper earlier. Take the lift up and you’ll reach an area full of Imperial forces and wookies fighting. Once you’ve taken out those, more forces will be dropped in and eventually an AT-ST.

When everything’s as dead as you can make it there’s be a victory cutscene and then you’ll be able to Overcharge the panel against the wall to turn on the cable car lift back to the landing pad and the Mantis. You can also talk to Saw by the ship for some more info on how to reach the Shadowlands which is your eventual goal, but you'll have to return to Zeffo before you can do that.

Take the cable car back to the landing pad and you’ll be able to Overcharge the panel by the side door and turn off the red forcefield you saw right at the beginning. That’ll unlock a shortcut to the room with the bench where you were attacked by the spider. You can leave now to head back to Zeffo for the main mission, or double back through Kashyyyk to investigate any of the areas you missed.
