US Deals
UK Deals

Prime Day PC deals are still going strong, but you don't have too long before deals start disappearing. We've already seen some great offers and as we get closer to midnight, more and more of them will vanish, so it might be time to think about pulling the trigger on some bargains. We'd be surprised if we saw anything get cheaper at this point - although we'll be keeping an eye on things and updating this page whatever happens. We've already found a bunch of decent discounts and listed them below, and a lot of them aren't even Prime exclusive.

Annoyingly, not all the best Prime Day PC deals end up at Amazon. Back in July, we found the best offers were actually listed at Best Buy and Walmart as they ran competing sales at the same time. We've started with Amazon's biggest offers down below, but as the day continues we'll be checking other stores and keeping you updated with what we find. The upside is you might not need a Prime subscription for some of the biggest discounts, so it's still worth doing a bit of virtual window shopping for Prime Day gaming deals. That said, if you can't be bothered hopping from shop to shop, we'll be on hand to serve you offers on pre-built machines, graphics cards, CPUs, and more.

Down below, you'll find a whole bunch of Prime Day PC deals in the US and UK, and we've checked Amazon's prices against other stores to ensure you're getting a good deal.

Save $330 - This build from Yeyian over at Newegg is a little bonkers for the money you'll pay. Prime Day PC deals: FAQ

When will October Prime Day PC deals end?

The second wave of Prime Day PC deals for 2023 will end at midnight tonight - that's October 11. This Big Deal Days event saw early offers running on Amazon's homemade devices from the weekend before. While the best deals during July's Prime Day actually came from the likes of Newegg and other retailers in the PC world, we're seeing a broad mix of offers across a bunch of retailers including Amazon.

Do you have to be a Prime member to access Prime deals?

Yes, you'll need a Prime Membership to gain access to Amazon's October sale, but you don't necessarily have to pay for a subscription if you play your cards right. If you're not an existing Prime member, you'll be able to take advantage of a 30-day free trial - which, if you start now, will cover you for the event. Just remember to cancel it before the actual payments begin if you don't want the subscription to kick in.

While you do need to be a registered Prime member in order to benefit from this year's sale, there are ways around paying for it. If you sign up for a free 30-day trial today, you'll be covered for the big event. Just be sure to cancel before it renews into a fully paid subscription.

What to expect from Prime Day gaming PC deals in October 2023

Prime Day PC deals in the Summer brought us some decent bargains, but in truth, the best deals of the lot came from a seasonal sale Newegg ran at the same time as Prime Day. Best Buy, Ebuyer, Scan, and Walmart all ran sales at the same time as Prime Day to prevent big Papa Bezos from stealing all the profits. Whether that happens again this October remains to be seen, but since there's a lot less emphasis on Big Deal Days compared to Prime Day proper, I'd be surprised if we saw as much competition. Either way, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for other retailers, and we'll let you know what we find.

In terms of what we'll see, I have two predictions. The first is that we'll see similar prices to the July deals - I certainly wouldn't expect better deals this time, and there will likely be a smaller pool of bargains to choose from. The second prediction is that we'll probably see the best deals come from lesser-known budget brands in October, and the biggest and best deals from better-known brands will be held off for the likes of Black Friday gaming PC deals.

If you'd like a more direct idea of pricing for the October Prime Day, we've held onto a list of the best Prime Day PC deals from July's event and noted them down below. Some standouts came from Skytech, HP Omen, and CyberPowerPC. We saw a pretty decent mix of last-gen and newer-gen components in those builds - even with the 40 Series Nvidia GPUs only just arriving in their later stages before the event.

I said the same thing before July and in my expectations blurb for Black Friday, but unless you're looking at the very entry-level budget stuff, try your absolute darndest to grab a PC with a DDR5 compatible motherboard. Although you might not feel you need it right now, that's going to be a pivotal futureproofing feature that'll ensure you can keep your rig updated as the next couple of years ensue.

What to expect from Prime Day PC component deals in October 2023

Prime day GPU deals in October: With the 40 series cards now out (barring the 4050), we'd expect to see a few deals on these trickle in, although at this point in the year I'd really recommend waiting until Black Friday rolls in, because your money will go so much further if you can wait another month. If you need something sooner than November because your current graphics card just isn't cutting it, some October Prime Day deals will likely give you a leg up on usual prices.

AMD is probably the one to bet on - the brand always prices its GPUs a little cheaper than Nvidia, and famously likes to run deals and promotions when it's a thorn in Nvidia's paw. We same some great Starfield bundles with AMD's boards in July, and with the recent news about FSR3, I can definitely see some deal prices coming to Radeon cards before Black Friday.

The thing I want to warn you about is that if you see deals on any Nvidia 30 Series graphics cards, particularly founders edition models, be careful. Amazon will tell you that a deal is a deal, but the MSRP of those cards is still woefully inacurate, so much so that you can get 40 Series for cheaper. If it's these cards you really want, you might well see some deals on them this October - see this July example below.

CPU deals: We may well see some Intel deals from the 13th generation. We did see some of these chips appearing in prebuilt PCs during July's Prime Day, so it's more than possible we get that again this October. Annoyingly, we haven't heard any more about the Raptor Lake Refresh wave of processors even though we heard more about Meteor Lake (the next proper generation of Intel CPUs for mobile and laptops).

AMD is a smarter bet again, and we're bound to see some 12th Gen processors come down in price too. For budget buyers and first-time builders, we saw some decent bundles on offer for Prime Day in the summer.

Memory and storage deals: These are much more likely than great GPU or CPU deals. RAM, SSDs, and external hard drive deals during sales events are a total guarantee, and it just so happens they tend to be the cheapest components to upgrade anyway.

SSDs are always cheap at the moment, you'll struggle to find our favorites not on offer when there isn't a big sale event on. In July we got discounts to the 1TB Samsung 980 Pro and WD Black SN850X - both of which came down to the $60 mark. That's an excellent price for 1TB rives of that speed, so if we get a repeat of that, be sure to jump on it.

External SSDs might be worth watching to, since deals events are some of the few times of the year you might be able to grab one for as cheap as HDD prices.

When it comes to RAM, October's Prime Day will probably be a great time to pick up some DDR5, if your system can handle it. In July we saw two sticks of Corsair 6000MHz DDR5 go down to £100 in the UK, and budget brands like T-FORCE dropped its Vulcan DDR5 down to $80 for two sticks.

Peripherals are an important part of any PC gaming setup, so ensure you've got the best gaming keyboard, best gaming mouse, and best gaming desk at the helm, too.

Ever since playing Journey at the age of 15, I’ve been desperate to cover video games for a living. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University with a degree in Journalism, I contributed to the Scottish Games Network and completed an Editorial Internship over at Expert Reviews. Besides that, I’ve been managing my own YouTube channel and Podcast for the last 7 years. It’s been a long road, but all that experience somehow landed me a dream job covering gaming hardware. I’m a self-confessing PlayStation fanboy, but my experience covering the larger business and developer side of the whole industry has given me a strong knowledge of all platforms. When I’m not testing out every peripheral I can get my hands on, I’m probably either playing tennis or dissecting game design for an upcoming video essay. Now, I better stop myself here before I get talking about my favourite games like HUNT: Showdown, Dishonored, and Towerfall Ascension.
