Every year, the Prime Day laptop deals are a highlight of the sales event. Given the breadth of the market, there is an absolute truckload of discounts in terms of sheer quantity, and there are usually some real quality deals that shine through. We've been looking through the latest offers since the sale launched to bring you such deal highlights. If you're on your mobile, make sure you click here to refresh this page to ensure you're seeing the most up-to-date version.
Whether you're looking for something light and easy for work and home use, a machine with a little more power and capability or flexibility, or need a new gaming laptop that will put your old model to shame with power and performance and the latest components - there's something for everyone. Amazon and its rivals are all really going for it this year.
We've already found work laptops, gaming laptops, and cheap Chromebooks too. Laptops of all kinds have been increasingly popular over the last 18 months so there's furious competition between retailers for your money. Traditionally, picks around the $300-$400/£350-£450 mark have provided some really nice work laptops on past Prime Days, and Chromebooks are attempting to muscle into Windows' territory, even more, this time around.

We're expecting even more discounts on everything from Macbooks to Razer powerhouses. With new graphics cards upon us, retailers will probably want to shift old stock of 1650 or 20-series GPU laptops. Fingers crossed the 30-series cards make their way into some discounted laptops too.

Prime Day laptop deals - do I need membership?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but yes - to take advantage of Prime Day laptop deals on June 21 and 22, you will need an Amazon Prime membership. However, it's not too big an inconvenience. Alongside original shows via Amazon Prime Video, it gets you access to free books and next-day delivery for many orders.
For those already with Prime memberships, there could be a few discounts or deals to extend your subscription. Don't forget that memberships stack, so your new sub just gets added to what you have already.
For the deals we're highlighting from other retailers though, you don't need to be a 'member' and there will be some great deals as Amazon's competitors try to cash in on the summer sales buzz.
Prime Day 2021 - what else is on sale?
Away from laptops, Prime Day will have you covered for price cuts on a whole host of tech. It's a great time to look for deals on the best gaming monitors, for example. You'll also be able to pick up excellent deals on PC components and parts, so if you're building your own rig, Prime Day is a great time to snag some new stuff like one of the best graphics cards or even a gaming laptop deal (or cheap gaming PC, for that matter).
