Resident Evil Revelations

Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PC
EU: May 24

Capcom's 3DS Resident Evil entry is now making its way to consoles and PC. The upgraded port will let console RE fans live the adventures of Jill Valentine and Parker Luciani aboard the cruise ship Queen Zenobia, which may or may not be infested with mutants carrying the T-Abyss virus (spoiler: it is). Naturally, Resident Evil Revelations will be getting a visual makeover when it hits consoles. It will also arrive with a new “Infernal” difficulty mode, a new enemy type, fresh gear, plus additional costumes and characters for the Raid Mode.

Resident Evil Revelations was celebrated for its a return to RE's survival horror roots. It also came highly recommended for its post-game content (i.e Raid Mode). Read why we dug Capcom's cruise ship nightmare in our Resident Evil: Revelations review.

Worms Collection

Platforms: PS3, Xbox 360
EU: Already Out

Dig in, North American Worms fans. After months of waging combat on European consoles, Worms Collection is finally storming western shores. The battle-hardened collection will feature three previously downloadable Worms titles--Worms, Worms 2: Armageddon (plus 6 free DLC packs), and Worms: Ultimate Mayhem. If you've played with worms and wondered what it's like to lead them in cartoony weapons-based combat, this is the collection for you. Alternatively, if you simply like the Worms series, that also works.

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Platform: Nintendo 3DS

In 2010, Nintendo and Retro brought the Kong clan back in a major way with Donkey Kong Country Returns. The game invoked the platforming charm and challenge of the SNES Donkey Kong Country series, and was well received in return. So well received, in fact, that Nintendo has paired with Monster Games (Pilotwings Resort) to remake the 2010 hit from the ground up for the Nintendo 3DS. Featuring more than just graphical upgrades and 3D effects, the remake will come with eight new levels and a “New Mode” that will offer greenhorns the option of playing on an easier difficulty. Nintendo says the New Mode was added to make the game easier for portable play, but purists should be happy that an “Original Mode” will retain the difficulty level of the Wii version. We already got our paws on this incoming 3DS remake. Read our impressions at Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D Preview – New screens and details.

Sniper Elite V2

Platform: Wii U

The Wii U's World War II game library is gaining a new recruit with the arrival of Sniper Elite V2. This remake of 2005's Sniper Elite takes place during the 1945 Battle of Berlin and follows OSS officer Karl Fairburn on his mission to stop the German brainiacs behind the development of the V-2 rocket. Sniper Elite V2 will be a game for the methodical FPS'ers, favoring stealthy and strategic warfare over up-close combat. With the Wii U version, players will enjoy an even more tactical experience through the ability to track targets, analyze the environment, and keep an eye on their BPM heart monitor on the Wii U GamePad. Sniper Elite V2's multiplayer co-op components will also remain intact, letting friends tackle opposing forces in tandem throughout multiple game modes.

Sniper Elite V2 was released in spring 2012 for PS2, Xbox 360, and PC. Read our Sniper Elite V2 review to see why the so-called “Kill cam” is just one of the reasons this is the perfect fix for FPS campers.

Fuse

Platform: PS3, Xbox 360
EU: May 31

The co-op four-player shooter formerly known as Overstrike is ready to deploy. Developed by Insomniac Games (its first non-Sony exclusive), Fuse stars Dalton, Izzy, Jacob, and Naya as an off-kilter team of agents known as Overstrike 9. The team must save mankind from a sinister organization. The game's new title takes its cues from the alien material at the heart of Overstrike 9's headaches, as well as the gunk powering the team's over-the-top weaponry. After kicking around Insomniac's studios for years, it's finally hitting stores. Until then, you can check out our impressions of its fall 2012 build in FUSE preview – Big weapons, big explosions, big co-op.

GRID 2

Platform: PS3, Xbox 360, PC
EU: May 31

Barcelona, Abu Dhabi, and the California Coast are just a sampling of the environments you'll rip through in this highly anticipated sequel to Codemasters' 2008 Race Driver: Grid. The sequel will pull up with a new “TrueFeel” handling system and vehicles plucked from over the last four decades. For better or worse, it will also do away with the Helmet Cam perspective featured in the original. Our own Justin Towell said at the game's reveal: “This has the potential to be the best racing game of the generation. Perhaps ever.” We'll see if Codemasters can meet such big talk soon. Check out our bang-up-to-date GRID 2: 10 things you need to know for the full lowdown and make sure you check out our exclusive montage of crashes from the full game (above) too.

The Night of the Rabbit

Platform: PC, Mac

You may know Daedalic Entertainment as the developer of Deponia and publisher of Torchlight 2, but after this month the German studio may be remembered as the studio that brought point-and-click adventure games back to the spotlight with The Night of the Rabbit. Sporting rich, animated visuals and a surreal Alice in Wonderland vibe, The Night of the Rabbit looks primed for cult success. It stars a young boy named Jerry whose dreams of becoming a magician send him to a fantastical land filled with talking animals, dapper rabbits, and no-good wizards. If it's wonder, merriment, and/or jubilation you're seeking, this could be puzzler for you.
