I've been watching the Neo Geo mini over the entire sale season, and its price hasn't budged much. That's unsurprising given it has already fallen pretty far from its original MSRP, but I'm pleased to report that the tiny cabinet is now sitting lower than ever, and I'm not giving Cyber Monday the credit.

The current Neo Geo Mini offer knocks the compact arcade machine down to $51.90 from $59.90. That latter price tag is fairly typical, but you've got both an on-page discount and a coupon bringing the collectable retro console down to a new record low.

This offer on what is one of my favorite easy ways to play a bunch of great fighting games proves that Cyber Monday deals aren't the only discounts worth watching for. It also demonstrates how hard Amazon is to navigate during sale seasons, as there's actually an entirely different listing for this arcade machine sitting at full price. That means if you've got that one bookmarked, you'd end up missing out on this random coupon.

Even then, though, I actually bought this mini arcade machine at full price, and I think it was worth every penny. I am admittedly a sucker for tiny versions of things, and I had been debating picking up the minaturised Neo Geo MVS cabinet for quite a while. Nevertheless, if you're into the idea of having a quick all-in-one way to play some excellent SNK classics and the option to use it as a console on your TV, this is well worth grabbing.

The only real caveat with this machine is that its controls are a bit "meh". Rather than using authentic switches like its Sega Astro City mini counterpart, this little cab uses a big analogue stick and membrane buttons. Not idea if you care about authentic controls, but the good news is that it's TV and external gamepad abilities make up for that.

I do use the built-in 3.5-inch screen to play some arcade romps, but I largely use the Mini with my TV and 8Bitdo's Neo Geo controller (currently $26.99 at Amazon, FYI). The latter gamepad just so happens to be one of the most authentic takes on the Neo Geo CD controller out there, and I've had a blast playing everything from The King of Fighters to Samurai Shodown using its immensely clicky joystick.

I own most consoles, but there's a sizable Neo Geo gap in my collection. If you've got similar woes, this mini arcade machine will help you authentically play 40 SNK releases on something that feels like a console remake. The cabinet's HDMI output looks great on my LG OLED C4, even at 720p, and I do think using the 8Bitdo gamepad makes all the difference.

I highlight plug-and-play consoles and arcade machines like this throughout the year, and I often find they eventually vanish. That's because they're technically discontinued, and once sellers at sites like Amazon have limited supplies, they'll drive their prices up to collector levels. It's got to the point where I almost feel bad highlighting discounts like this, so I wouldn't deliberate too much on picking the retro system up if it sounds like your jam.

I guess the good news is that since it's not technically a Cyber Monday deal, you might still be able to grab if even if you're reading this after the fact. I wouldn't leave it to chance, but I'm still not crediting the sequel sale with this one.

First, a little admin. Which stores have been the best so far? At the time of writing, it's all about Amazon. OK, sure, that's an obvious answer. But it really has been the most reliable for range, variety, and depth of discount. Walmart comes in a close second, but Amazon's knocking it out of the park so far. I'd recommend heading straight there.

Hit this pinata for top-tier loot

What better way to kick off than with my favorite discount so far? After a solid week or so following 2025's deals (from Black Friday right through to today's Cyber Monday Lego deals), I think the Supply Llama still comes out on top overall. To begin with, it's now sitting pretty at its lowest ever price of $24.99 at Amazon - and that pulls an already-tempting offer into impulse-purchase territory. Secondly, it's a great option for fans, as a gift alike, to put on display, or have in a toybox. 'Versatile' is an understatement.

It's so full of personality, too; as noted in our review, "you can't help but smile every time you see" this derpy little guy. That vacant expression, the fact it actually drops loot... oh, and it's pretty easy to construct as well. That makes it a good fit even if you've not made a model in years.

Can I get a whacka-whacka-whacka

Next up on my list of favorites is this surprisingly excellent discount on the Lego Pac-Man Arcade set, which I really wasn't expecting to see in this year's sale. This is an older kit that very rarely dips below $250, so it suddenly tumbling to a record low price of $188.99 at Amazon is more than a little eye-catching.

If you're a retro fan, this is the kit for you. Along with recreating the Pac-Man cabinet in delightful miniature, it's got a clever 'sunken maze' design for the Ghosts and Pac-Man himself to sit in, making it feel as though it's an actual labyrinth they're charging around. Oh, and the best bit? Thanks to some levers and Technic pieces, it actually works. Move the crank and the yellow blob will whacka-whacka-whacka his way along the display. It's an absolute delight.

I love that there's an even smaller minifigure-scale version you can store alongside this one, complete with a minifg gamer trying to beat their high score. When combined with the larger Pac-Man and Ghosts you put along the top of the main cabinet, this model is firing on all nostalgic cylinders.

It's-a-me, an excellent deal

While we're on a retro train, I think our next stop should be this amazing Super Mario World kit. It's a nostalgic visit back to the '90s SNES game, with an incredibly faithful design fans like me go nuts over. At $104.99 at Amazon, it's just a dollar away from its cheapest price too.

I can't get over how closely it matches the tiny sprite from the game itself; it's like it's leapt from the screen. Mario even has his yellow cape, which allowed him to fly/glide short distances (there will be no mid-chasm bouncing off Yoshi here, thank you very much).

My favorite thing about it isn't the visual design, though - it's the fact that this model actually moves. Turn the crank and you'll see Yoshi run as fast as his little legs can carry him. His tongue even pops out, ready to grab a tasty apple... or enemy!

Chomp on this excellent Lego discount for Cyber Monday, why don't you

Speaking of the Mushroom Kingdom, there's another member of the Super Mario repertoire that's currently enjoying a great Cyber Monday Lego discount; the Piranha Plant. Indeed, you can get this model for $47.99 at Amazon instead of the usual $59.99.

As mentioned in my Lego Piranha Plant review, this one is so full of personality; it has a lot more charm than you'd expect for a relatively simple build. A lot of that comes down to being able to pose it however you want, and it always looks a little sassy no matter what you do with it.

This is the kind of kit that's perfect for putting on a desk or a shelf, and many of us in the GamesRadar+ office have this one.

Spider-deals, Spider-deals, does whatever a... oh, you get the picture

Of all the Cyber Monday Lego deals I was expecting to see, I didn't have this enormous Spider-Man kit on the list. The Daily Bugle came out a couple of years ago and is real treasure-trove for fans of Marvel's webslinger, with a frankly ridiculous 25 minifigures to go with its 7,600-piece build.

Better yet, it's currently $244.99 at Amazon rather than $349.99. I appreciate that it's still a lot of cash, but honestly, such a massive price cut is rare. As in, really rare. Price-matching software suggests it doesn't normally go much below $300, and this is actually a single dollar away from being a record low.

Notably, this kit is difficult to get hold of now - it's out of stock at the official Lego store, for example.

Fans are gravitating toward this discount

There are some excellent Harry Potter kits out there, and plenty have been given a discount as part of this year's Cyber Monday Lego deals. However, one that seems to have been flying off shelves is the Thestral Family. This brick-based version of the fantastic beasts have shifted 10K units in the past month according to Amazon, so it's clearly a winner.

At a record low price of $48.99 at Amazon (down from $69.99), I can see why. That kind of discount brings the model into dangerous "oooh, maybe" territory, and it's surprisingly good at capturing the creatures' on-screen design despite being made of bricks. Their good articulation means they work as toys as well as display pieces too, so this is a versatile set on the whole.

Roger roger, this deal is no clanker

Star Wars fans may want to check out one of Amazon's bespoke Cyber Monday Lego deals; there's a Phantom Menace kit with your name on it. Plus, it's at a record low. Turns out this is the droid you're looking for.

You can currently pick up the Lego Battle Droid with STAP for its cheapest ever price, AKA $89.99 at Amazon. That's down from the usual $139.99 for the 2025 model, meaning you're saving 36% in total.

I have a real soft spot for these hopeless droids, so this set was always going to appeal to me. But the fact it can be removed from the STAP speeder and posed on foot with its blaster at the ready adds to the charm. You've got options in terms of how you want to display it, which is always a good thing in my books.

Avengers, you're running out of time to assemble on this discount

One of the best savings from the past few days has been this helicarrier-sized price cut on the... well, the Helicarrier. This Avengers display piece is just half price right now, being $40 at Walmart rather than the usual $80. Seeing as it's stuck around over the weekend, I can't imagine there are many left.

We have a soft spot for this kit after reviewing it, and it makes for a reasonably-sized display kit that's classy yet full of detail. In fact, our only criticism was the overabundance of stickers - there are a lot. However, at 50% off, I think we can overlook that particular bugbear.

Oh come, all ye faithful (admire this Christmas Lego centerpiece)

If you want to add a nerdy festive touch to your Holiday prep, this Cyber Monday Lego deal is perfect. The Christmas Table Decoration set is just $23.99 at Amazon right now instead of $39.99, providing us with a festive gift of 40% off. Lovely stuff.

The thing I adore about this kit is that it takes a moment to recognize as a Lego set; the flora in particular is enough to throw you off. That makes the realization this is a pile of bricks so fun - there's a real "oh!" moment behind it.

Crucially, it isn't going to take up much space. This is a relatively modest kit both in terms of price and size, so it's a great addition to the Christmas dinner table if you're hosting.

I think this might be the cutest Lego set in ages, and it's never been cheaper

OK, so this set is absolutely adorable. One of the latest Disney Lego sets is a recreation of beloved junk bot Wall-E and his pal EVE, with posable limbs and a lot of detail (like weathering on the former) that brings them to life.

So, why's that news? Well, the model is currently $55.95 at Amazon instead of almost $70. That's an all-time low price, and I sincerely doubt you're going to see anything better this side of 2026. That's because the set only just came out, and hasn't deviated much from MSRP so far.

Gotta get back to Hogwarts

Hogwarts is another Lego set that seems immensely popular right about now, as 10K+ copies have been purchased in the last month. Seeing as it's around $30 less than usual right now as part of this year's Cyber Monday Lego deals, I can understand the sudden rush.

If you want to build your own version of the wizarding school, it's $140 at Amazon rather than the normal $169.99.

Hit the tarmac with this latest saving

We've got another record low price on our hands, people! The rather snazzy Speed Champions Ultimate Formula 1 Collector's Pack (which has 10 sets in total, arrayed in company colors) has never been cheaper, and it's available for $188.99 at Amazon rather than $269.99.

Seeing as the average cost for this one is anywhere between $253 and $260ish, that 30% discount is an absolute steal.

The greatest hunk of junk in the Outer Rim

The fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy is just a couple of cents away from a record low price in the 2025 Cyber Monday Lego deals; you can grab the midi-ship Millennium Falcon for just $67.97 at Amazon rather than the normal price of $85.

I'm a huge fan of this kit. Besides looking fantastic, it's a much more reasonable price than other, alternative Falcons. Yes, they're much bigger and more detailed. But they also cost a small fortune. Equally, it's a lot easier to display; it doesn't take up much space on a shelf or desk, unlike its siblings. Plus, it has its own stand - which isn't something the others possess.

Our chances of ignoring this discount are a thousand to one

If you're of the opinion that the droids were some of the best bits in Star Wars (ah, someone of good taste), I think you need to see this particular Cyber Monday Lego deal. It slashes the cost of everyone's favorite astromech in brick form by 20%, bringing it down to $79.97 over at Amazon.

The designers certainly spared no expense with this one. It's crammed with extra bits, hidden compartments, and accessories so that you can show off the full range of R2's skills. We were big fans of it in our four-star Lego R2-D2 review!

These flowers will always stay beautiful

Looking for something nice and seasonal to put on display at home? I'd definitely recommend considering the Dried Flower Centerpiece. Besides being very autumnal with all those oranges and burnt reds, it's a beautiful composition of Lego flowers that really pops. At $34.99 via Amazon instead of $50, it's also great value. Yes, we've seen it for a little less before now. But that's still an aggressively good price on a gorgeous kit.

How do you know if something is a good deal or not? It's a fair question. Many retailers claim that something's a good deal, but these are often decidedly average. There can be some dodgy tactics to make something look like a better discount than it actually is, too - an old favorite of some stores is to artificially bump the price before a sale and then dropping it back down again.

To decide whether something is actually good value or not, I always like to check out price-comparison sites like CamelCamelCamel. These let you know what previous records were, the average cost, and more. It's well worth keeping an eye on if you want maximum value!

Time is starting to run out on Cyber Monday

I don't want to alarm anyone, but I think it's only fair to bring to everyone's attention that Cyber Monday is slowly winding to a close - it'll be over by midnight tonight. While we still have plenty of time before then, I'd highly recommend hitting checkout sooner than later. Items may start to drop out of stock as everyone rushes to secure those sale prices, and I've seen a few instances of prices going back up to normal before Cyber Monday is even done. With that in mind, I'd grab whatever it is you're looking at as soon as you can!

One of the most popular items every Cyber Monday is iPads, with even the smallest percentage discount on these expensive tablets saving you loads of money. But as we enter the final day of these annual sales, time is ticking down on the discounts, and so it's time to take stock of what's left.

Loads of earlier iPad deals I've seen have sold out, or worse: risen slightly in price so they still seem like a discount but aren't as good as they were. Plus, on the best-discounted iPads, certain color options and storage sizes are rapidly going out of stock even if some items still remain.

Should you buy the Quest 3S or PSVR 2 if you're on a budget?

Okay, I'm going to try to answer this as simply as I can.

↘️If you're on a really tight budget, the Quest 3S is $50 cheaper, so that may be the simplest way to decide.

↗️If you play games on a PS5 already, then I'd argue PSVR 2 is a better deal since it's going to pull better gaming performance from your existing console than the Quest 3S would in standalone mode.

↗️If you mainly play on PC, I'd go for PSVR 2 since its OLED panels and higher resolution are going to be massive bonuses for harnessing your GPU's power.

↘️If you plan to use a VR headset for more than just gaming, go for the Quest 3S, since PSVR 2 doesn't have a standalone mode or mixed-reality features.

This could be a handy accessory for any USB-C powered headset

I reviewed this charging belt for the Quest 3 and 3S devices the other week, and I'm a big fan of it as an alternative to wearing a battery head strap that makes your device heavier on your head. VR headsets have spent years trying to strip down weight to increase comfort so that you can spend longer wearing them without needing to give your nose a break. While most battery straps will distribute that weight more evenly, it can still cause discomfort in more ways than one.

The PrismXR charging belt is seeing a discount down to $47.99 at Amazon in a Prime-exclusive Cyber Monday deal. This essentially doubled the lifespan of my Meta Quest 3, and it still comes in around the same sort of price as most battery head straps.

It pains me to say it, but I wouldn't recommend this deal

As much as I'd love to recommend Amazon's deal on either the standalone HTC Vive Pro 2, or its full kit, I don't think its current price is worth it.

At Amazon, the headset on its own has an average price of $634, and while its current discount goes below that to $594 at Amazon, it's not even close to its lowest-ever cost of $475. For an older device that still needs motion trackers set up in the room you're using it in, that's not ideal. There are newer headsets with similar specs that are cheaper, so I'd go for one of those instead.

PSA: Members can get PSVR 2 marginally cheaper at BJ's Wholesale Club

If you're a member at BJ's Wholesale Club, you can get PSVR 2 for $10 less than you would at other retailers right now, and with free shipping, no less!

For the majority of shoppers, grabbing from Amazon or Best Buy is going to make more sense though.

The Quest 3S is even cheaper in the UK

I've seen a fair few deals headlines this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with reviewers claiming some hardware brands are going "zero profit" on their gaming hardware, and while I think that's a bit of a leap for a lot of deals this week, I think that might actually be the approach Meta is taking with the Quest 3S in the UK.

From talking to rival brands, apparently, Meta is selling its Quest 3 devices at a loss even when they're at full price. That's hard for us to confirm, but if it's true, deals like the £229 for the 128GB Quest 3S are absolutely burning a hole in Zuckerberg's pocket.

That said, Meta will probably make it back on the data they farm from your usage habits within a few weeks.

Either way, it's an excellent time to grab a Quest 3S if you're shopping in the UK.

If you're a Quest owner already, or you're about to be with one of the discounts that's available, it might be worth checking what games are currently discounted on Meta's software store. There's usually a sale event on the storefront, which means you can get new games, apps, and experiences for less. I'm not seeing one advertised, but I am seeing a few apps with individual discounts.

The head strap I use for Quest 3 is on offer

The latest version of the Kiwi Design comfort head strap for Quest 3 and 3S is also seeing a Prime members' price drop for Cyber Monday. This one adds a lot of comfort to your headset, and if you opt for the battery-powered one in this deal, you'll get a longer lifespan for your play sessions too.

The Meta Quest 3's price won't budge in the UK, so grab this instead

Again, this is one for UK shoppers because the headset I'm recommending isn't available on the other side of the Atlantic. (Sorry, US readers, I'll be with you in a moment).

The Pico 4 Ultra is an excellent headset, and an even better alternative to the Quest 3 than PSVR 2 is (if you want a standalone headset). For gaming, I think it actually outperforms the Quest 3 thanks to its increased RAM, better controllers, and more comfortable fit.

Seriously, if you're as annoyed as I am about the lack of full-fat Quest 3 discounts this Cyber Monday, go with its rival instead. For its current price, you're getting an absolute bargain.

There's no Deadpool bundle, and I think that's a missed opportunitiy

Heading into Black Friday season, I was so sure there would be a Deadpool VR bundle for the Quest 3 / maybe the Quest 3S as well. It made so much sense to me. The game was launching just before the big sale, and in the last two years, we've had a Meta-published VR game bundled in for free with the Quest devices.

Especially with Steam Frame on the way, you'd think Meta would want to go out swinging this Holiday season with a game loads of people would want to play (I know I do). But alas, there's no Deadpool bundle, and to me, that's a missed trick for Meta.

I won't weep for one of the biggest tech companies in the world, but I am sorry to consumers who would have probably appreciated it. Ah well.

I'd steer clear of these third-party PSVR 2 adapters

If you shop at Amazon, you'll probably find some discounted PSVR 2 PC adapters that look just like the real thing. I've been seeing these come and go at Amazon since the official adapter launched, and I'd steer clear of them if I were you.

I've never gone hands-on with them, but they're always sold by brand-new vendors at Amazon that never have many user reviews to count on.

It's infuriating that Sony isn't slashing the price of the official PC adapter, but at least you'll have the reassurance that it'll work.

I thought we might see the return of the Quest 3S Xbox Edition

The Xbox Edition of the Meta Quest 3S lasted a good few months in the middle of the year, but I must admit, even if it was a "limited edition" bundle, I did expect to see it poke its head back in the door during Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

As it stands, you can get either of the other Quest 3S headsets for cheaper anyway.

The BOBOVR S3 has an overall 4.6-star rating on Amazon from 4,600 reviews. It's absolutely one of the more heavy-duty head straps out there, but it's one I've been eager to get my head around for a while.

Unfortunately, the folks at BOBOVR are proving difficult to get a hold of, so I haven't been able to test one out. I'd buy it myself, but it's one of the most expensive head straps for the Quest 3 you'll find.

If you're interested, it's seeing a Prime-exclusive Cyber Monday deal at Amazon, which brings it down from $89.99 to $71.99.

I'm begging HTC for some good deals

HTC Vive is one of the biggest competitors to Meta's Quest headsets, but in my mind, it should be an even bigger one, especially thanks to its most recent HTC Vive Focus Vision headset.

Again, I'm yet to test this one out because the folks at HTC are playing their cards close to their chest, which could be a sign to read into, or me overthinking it. Either way, on specs, this thing should be one of the most popular headsets around. It launched to the tune of $999, but its current "discount" price is well above that.

Combine that with the HTC Vive Pro 2 deal I highlighted earlier and you've got two devices I'd love to recommend to PC gamers especially, and I'm unable to because they're simply not good deals.

This is the charging stand I'm currently using, and it's at a new record-low price

The PrismXR charging dock is seeing a great price for Cyber Monday, at a new low of $61.59, which beats its average cost by around $7. I like this one for its neat and tidy display design, but also because it charges the controllers as well as the headset - which you'll soon realise is a massive perk when owning a Quest 3.

Should you wait for the Steam Frame?

A new Quest 3 competitor is entering the race in early 2026, and for gaming, it seems like a pretty sweet alternative to Meta's devices.

I think there are pros and cons to each one. If you're on a budget, I doubt Valve will manage to get the Frame down to the price of the Quest 3S, for example. But if you have no plans for mixed reality and just want a headset for gaming, I think the Frame has better specs and features.

Then again, we don't know what the price of the Steam Frame will be, so it's hard to make a decision. The best you can do at this stage is take in all the information you can about the Steam Frame to make an educated decision. Worst comes to worst, if you miss this deal on the Quest 3S, I wouldn't be surprised if we see it again soon.

Hey, maybe when the Steam Frame launches, we'll actually get a discount on the proper Quest 3, which has been sitting in its room in a huff since before Thanksgiving.

Friendly reminder: Meta Quest 3 also exists

The focus here so far has been on Meta Quest 3S and deals surrounding that specific headset. For good reason, too: there are actual deals to be had with significant discounts and bundles.

But it's worth remembering that the Meta Quest 3 (sans S) also exists and is technically a more robust piece of hardware. In our Meta Quest 3S review, we called it "maybe the best entry-level VR device ever created" and we stand by that. But if you're looking for an upgrade, and the Meta Quest 3 is technically an upgrade, the price difference isn't so significant that it should be ignored. That goes double for anyone upgrading from the likes of a Quest 2.

Everybody wants to own a strap

For my money, when it comes to VR headsets, comfort is an intensely personal measurement. No two people are going to find the same strap or headset fits exactly the same way, which is why I typically recommend folks invest in something beyond the standard fit immediately.

It's hard to go wrong with the official Meta Quest Elite Strap – which works with both the Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S – as an initial first steps. Your mileage may vary, but this thing has been a godsend for my gigantic melon of a head, and it's at a record-low price right now.

My own Meta Quest 3 charger is on sale too

In general, PowerA is one of my preferred third-party brands for basically any kind of gaming hardware. Most of my controllers and charging stations come from PowerA, and the one I use for my Meta Quest 3 is no different. Amazon currently has this at a record-low price of $51.04 (ships and sold by Amazon, though there are some other third-party retailers there that look to be jockeying for cheapest) right now.

It's a fairly compact piece of kit, which might be my favorite part. My Quest 2 charging station from Anker is a beefy boy, so it was nice to see the Meta Quest 3 one take up less room overall.

You're gonna want a link cable

Is the official Meta Quest link cable just... a fancy cable? Yes. Has it made actually playing my PC VR games much easier? Also yes. There's a good chance you might already have one of these if you're a VR enthusiast given it worked with the Meta Quest 2, but if you're just now buying in: you're going to want one.

At 16-foot long, there's plenty of room to move around despite being tethered to a PC. And, from personal experience, while it might look cumbersome it's actually rather lightweight and doesn't hinder movement. While this isn't the absolute cheapest we've seen it, it's only a couple of bucks off, and that's close enough for something that's basically a necessity if you already have a big Steam library of games waiting for you.

One game suggestion for anyone new to VR

Since we're talking about connecting a Meta Quest 3/3S to PC, it's worth acknowledging there's a full-on Half-Life VR game available on Steam that you can play with your new VR headset.

Half-Life: Alyx is full price at $59.99 right now, and has admittedly dropped to under $20 several times in the past. It probably will in the future, and maybe even later this month! But if you can't wait, it's about as solid as any VR game and makes for a strong first game to include in anyone's VR library.

Have bag, will travel

This Meta Quest 3 travel bag from PowerA isn't at a record-low price – we saw it about $6 cheaper this past summer – but it does have the distinction of being the one I actually like and use. It's roomy without feeling like cumbersome, and if you don't have a charging stand it's the next best way to store your Meta Quest 3 or Meta Quest 3S.

Well hello there! Welcome to Sales Season Round Two: Electric Boogaloo. Or, as it's known around here, 'Cyber Monday.'

Yep, the second wave of discounts is upon us, and the 2025 Cyber Monday PS5 deals are under way. Let's dig in to some savings, shall we?

So, to kick off; how's the sale looking on the whole? Cyber Monday has the unenviable task of following on from Black Friday, so you'd assume it's the ugly duckling of the family. But in reality, a lot of the same offers have just carried over with a new, shiny Cyber Monday sticker slapped over the top. Sure, there aren't as many. But the vast majority are still live and kicking. That means the discounts are... pretty good, actually. If you missed the Black Friday boat, this is your last chance to save before December hits.

Which retailers should you prioritize, I hear you ask? Well, there are a few standouts early in this year's Cyber Monday PS5 deals. Here are the ones I'd recommend prioritizing, with a little note on why.

- Amazon: OK, this won't come as a surprise. Like, duh, right? But Amazon has been the most consistent in terms of savings thus far. Games are getting particularly good savings, with up to 62% off (I mean, what?!) some titles. You really can't beat that.
- Walmart: This old faithful store comes in a close second thanks to its savings on hardware. Besides slashing the cost of PS5 consoles, it's also dropping the price of controllers like the official DualSense. It's a Christmas miracle!
- Best Buy: You can get some excellent discounts on accessories here, with headsets crashing down by $70 or more. Considering how that includes reductions on the likes of high-end Razer gear, it's an absolute bargain.
- PS Direct: Last but not least is the official source of all things PlayStation. It's saving you up to $100 on consoles right now, which is rather tasty in itself.

OK, admin is out of the way - let's get to the deals! First up is a beloved icon

I know, I know - I really should have played the (excellent) Astro Bot game by now. I keep hearing wonderful things about it, with many putting it down as one of the best PS5 titles on the system right now. That's why it tumbling to $39.97 at Walmart rather than the usual $60 is such an eye-catching offer.

This utterly adorable platformer is full of whimsy and wonder (as noted in our five-star Astro Bot review), but also excels in its whip-crack smart level design. If you're hankering after the 3D platformers of yesteryear a la Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Banjo Kazooie, and the rest, this should be right up your alley.

Re-enter the Borderlands with a discount that feels like an epic loot drop

If you're hankering after a twitchy looter shooter or just want something you can play with your pals, the latest Borderlands game has been steadily dropping in price across the weekend. Now, Borderlands 4 is sitting pretty at $47.98 at Walmart rather than the usual $69.99. That's quite a sizeable mark-down, particularly on a game that's only a few months old.

We were pretty keen on this one in our four-star Borderlands 4 review, praising its excellent gunplay and gorgeous art direction. If you're just looking to (literally) shoot the shit, you'll have a grand old time with this chaotic exercise in carnage.

Attention, the pro controller of all pro controllers is down to a record low price

Want a more advanced controller? We've been fans of the Nacon Revolution range for quite some time here, and as our Nacon Revolution 5 Pro review suggests via a 4-star rating, the latest version is no different. Indeed, we said it was "a worthy successor to one of the best controllers ever made" thanks to a host of features, premium comfort, and more.

That's why I've been very happy to see it dip to $119.99 at Best Buy, down from the full MSRP of $200. An $80 saving is ridiculous value and brings this accessory crashing to a record low price, which isn't bad at all considering how you're getting those all-important Hall effect sticks in the bargain.

Who are you calling scruffy lookin'?

Ever since Han Solo swaggered onto our screens in 1977, fans have been daydreaming about becoming a bone fide badass like the infamous outlaw himself - and as of a couple years ago, we can now live out that fantasy on our PS5s thanks to this Star Wars game (which we called "exceedingly fun" in our Star Wars: Outlaws review, only criticizing the stealth for letting the side down).

This game is currently slashed by 62% overall, bringing the cost down to $19.99 at Amazon as part of this year's Cyber Monday PS5 deals. That's a record low price and far better than the batting average of $43 or thereabouts that we've been seeing over the past few months.

This massive College Football 26 price cut is a perfectly-executed goal in our book

Calling all sports fans, because EA Sports College Football 26 is currently enjoying its cheapest ever price thanks to a 60% discount. More specifically, it's $27.99 at Amazon rather than it usual $70 MSRP.

We were huge fans of this one when we took a look at it over at GamesRadar+ HQ, as you may be able to tell from our glowing College Football 26 review. Actually, our exact quote is "the greatest show on turf." That's largely due to the fantastic rivalries and dynasties system, so there's plenty to look forward to here.

A delicious DualSense discount

Looking for a new controller? No matter whether you want to play splitscreen in the likes of Baldur's Gate 3 or are simply replacing an old accessory that's sadly past its best, there are plenty of offers flying round this Cyber Monday in terms of DualSense handsets. The best one I've seen so far is this offer on the standard white controller for $54 at Walmart instead of $75. That's a saving of $21, and is far better than you'll get elsewhere right now.

A whole new world

OK, I know it's not for everyone, but I have to take a moment to shout out the Horizon VR bundle. Virtual reality has come on in leaps and bounds over the past few years, and PSVR 2 is genuinely jaw-dropping in its fidelity and graphical pizazz. Having been hands-on with some of the most premium headsets around, like the Vive Pro 2, this was able to match them.

As luck would have it, you can get the bundle for $299 at Amazon, down from nearly $400. While it's still quite the investment, that's a huge discount that makes things much more palatable.

Want a new console for Christmas? Oh boy, you need to see this offer

Want a console, but mainly buy your games online? Rarely use discs? So far as PlayStations go, you can get a great saving on the discless PS5 Digital Slim right now - it's $399 at Walmart, a big step down from the standard cost of $499.99.

Besides sporting a new and improved design with ample storage (825GB), it manages to be a lot cheaper than the standard PS5 Slim because it cuts out the disc drive. If you always buy your games digitally from the PS Store and can't remember the last time you bought a game as a disc, there's no reason not to invest in this system over the others.

Do you have a PS4 backlog, share games with friends, or are you keen to capitalize on discounted PS5 game discs? Well, in that case you'll need to opt for the disc-drive version of the PS5 Slim, which is around $100 more. That gives you the flexibility to buy digitally or physically, which is absolutely worth the extra hundred bucks in my opinion.

Silent Hill 2 is still under $30

Amazon has been running out of stock on a bunch of Cyber Monday PS5 deals this weekend already, but Silent Hill 2 Remake is still standing firm.

You're getting one of the biggest horror games of the last few years for just under $30 here - a major improvement over its $59.99 launch price and a $20 discount on Amazon's more recent $49.99 sales price. This isn't one for the action horror fans among us, but if you're still chasing that spooky mist after all these years it's a must-see.

Do you need a PS5 Disc Edition?

If you're choosing between discounted PS5 models this Cyber Monday you've got one major decision to make. Do you actually need that disc drive or can you get away with that alluring $399 Digital Edition sales price?

If you had asked me a few years ago I would have gone all in on the disc version (and I still would if you have a bunch of PS4 discs to run). However, with digital prices looking a little better and that disc drive available if you need it further down the line, the cheaper version might be the way to go this Cyber Monday.

You only need the disc version if you want to play physical games right away, or you know you're going to be keeping your game collection stocked with second hand titles.

RIP this Victrix Pro BFG deal

The PDP Victrix Pro BFG is Duncan's go-to PS5 controller and it was one of my top Cyber Monday PS5 deals this weekend. That was before it jumped back up to $169.99, though.

Amazon had a $99.99 sales price on this gamepad last week, dropping it down to a brand new record-low price for the first time. We're now $70 away from those good old days, though. In my experience, we could see a return of that two-figure rate in the next few weeks, though, so I wouldn't jump on this one just yet - this is one to watch.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is just $15 right now

Like most PS5 games, Infinite Wealth's price tag has dropped significantly since it released. Amazon currently has the best price I've ever seen on the more recent release, though. Previously sat at $27.99, this PS5 release has dropped to just $14.99 for Cyber Monday.

That's among the cheapest PS5 games on the shelves right now - not bad considering I was celebrating a $49.99 sales price this time last year.

This is the headset most players should be looking at this Cyber Monday

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3 wireless headset has shot to the top of Rosalie's PS5 headset recommendations this year. It's essentially a cheaper version of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova 5 that ruled the roost last year, with the same massive roster of EQ presets and fantastic audio.

You're grabbing the $109.99 cups for just $79.99 in this weekend's Cyber Monday PS5 deals, scoring a record-low price on the new release. I've only seen these cups on sale once before, back in September when they dropped to $95.

PSA: PS Direct's Cyber Monday PS5 deals also include Ghost of Yotei consoles

PS5 prices are dropping all across the web, but you'll want to go straight to the source for the Ghost of Yotei edition. Both the black and gold versions of the special release consoles are on sale this Cyber Monday, with the same $100 discounts applied.

These are slightly more expensive than the vanilla versions, but if you're after a more unique console it's well worth the jump.

The vanilla DualSense is on sale pretty much everywhere right now, but if you're after a fancier colorway you'll want to head to PS Direct. There, you'll find a range of special editions still on sale this Cyber Monday.

Unfortunately, stock is moving fast. The Astro Bot Joyful gamepad is already unavailable, but there's still availability on God of War, Death Stranding, and Ghost of Yotei options.

The DualSense Edge is back down to the best price I've seen on it - this $159.99 rate wasn't even available over Black Friday. Cyber Monday PS5 deals have hit this one harder than ever, with an extra $10 off compared to the main event.

I actually saw this deal for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Someone seemingly pulled the trigger a little early, dropping the Sony pro controller by $40 well before go-time. Still, this was a $169.99 gamepad for most of the holiday sales, and I wasn't expecting to see this record-low return so soon.

My friend just bought a PS5, this was the first game I recommended to them

Astro Bot is a real gem, so even though my friend already has Astro's Playroom installed on her brand new PS5 I couldn't help but point her in the way of this full release. Last year's GOTY winner is also seeing its best discount yet, a $20 saving at Walmart dropping that $59.99 MSRP all the way down to $39.97. I haven't seen too many deals hitting this particular title since it launched, so that's a rare offer.

Whether you've just grabbed a new console or you're looking to kit out your existing setup, a PS Plus subscription is a super easy way to upgrade your experience this Cyber Monday. Sony has its own deal on 12 months of PS Plus Premium and Extra right now.

Both give you that catalog of games to work through, but Premium also throws in Cloud Streaming and the Classics Catalog. It's the best choice for retro fans or those looking to make the most of the PS Portal's features.

Save $20 on the PlayStation Portal

Whether you want to take your PS5 gameplay away from your main setup or you're tired of fighting for the TV, the PlayStation Portal is a pretty unique answer. The remote player streams your games (both via your console and through a separate service) direct to a lightweight handheld. It's essentially a DualSense controller with a display and a WiFi connection.

The only problem is it rarely leaves its standard $199.99 MSRP. Amazon has the device down to a rare $179 sales price in its own Cyber Monday PS5 deals, though.

Save $40 on the PDP Riffmaster

If you miss the good old days of Guitar Hero as much as I do you'll want to check out this PDP Riffmaster deal. You'll be sticking to Fortnite Festival these days, but if you're after something a little more realistic than a standard DualSense this is well worth a look.

The Riffmaster is down to $109.99 in Amazon's Cyber Monday PS5 deals, for a $40 discount on its original $149.99 MSRP. That would be an easy recommendation if it hadn't dropped to $99.50 back in April. Still, we're down to the lowest price I've seen in the last few months and not far off that record.

For now, though, it looks like Amazon has shaved an extra dollar off that Pro system.

The ultimate way to play the best PS5 games in handheld mode has never been cheaper. I've just seen a new record low price tag on the PlayStation Portable over on Amazon, now going for a respectable $21 off what our experts call an "awesome portable experience."

Look, I'll level with you: as our Hardware Editor says in their review, you do need WiFi to stream your games to this bad boy, so it's not like a Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch 2 in terms of on-the-go versatility. There's also no Bluetooth support, so you'll need wired headphones to go with it.

Walmart and Amazon are having a little spat right now over who can deliver the best PS5 Cyber Monday deal on the PS5 Pro, and I've just caught that Amazon is still winning by literally a cent.

It's the kind of hilarious petty Cyber Monday shenanigans that fill me with glee, and my colleagues spotted it last night too. But it certainly makes a point by bringing the gorgeous Sony console to a whole cent under its lowest-ever sales price, and it's also the only edition of the console still in stock over at Amazon. Your move, Walmart.

Our highest-rated best PS5 headsets have all been slashed in price for Cyber Monday right now, though some are better bargains than others according to my calculations.

The good news is that all three are winners in their own right. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro was hand-selected by our Hardware Editors as the best overall PS5 headset, lauded as the "new premium, gold-standard for wireless headsets." The only snag is that as far as PS5 Cyber Monday deals go, I saw these cans going almost $100 under its current sales price back in March this year.

It's still not a bad bit of savings for the quality of the product, but if you're looking to bag a record-low bargain and are shopping on a budget, the Turtle Beach Atlas 200 is what I'd go for. Record-low Cyber Monday PS5 game deals on new releases

I just spotted a record-low Cyber Monday PS5 deal on my horror GOTY, Silent Hill f, as well a couple of other 2025 releases. I've been writing about games for almost five years, and this year has brought some of my favorites so far (not you, Bloodlines 2). It's good to see a handful of them on offer, even if I can only recommend a couple.

Silent Hill f is admittedly not a game for everyone, but it's harrowing, dark, and deeply messed up enough to be one of the best Silent Hill games I've ever played. As long as you don't mind the Soulsy combat, of course. Meanwhile, Hell Is Us went viral immediately upon launch as a brooding, gritty shooter that speaks to horror fiends as well as fans of the best action games. As for Bloodlines 2... well, let's just say I stand by calling it a "half-baked, blunt-toothed action-mystery" in my 1.5-star review.

It's happened to me many times before: I've grabbed a PS5 game while it's been dropped to a super low price during a sales event like today's Cyber Monday, only to realize I had access to it already via my PlayStation Plus Premium membership.

I love collecting physical games so it's not the biggest loss for me when it happens, but it's still very annoying. To avoid it happening to you, make sure to search through your PS Plus game library via your PS5 (or via the PS5 smartphone app) for whatever game you have your eyes on. That way, you won't end up forking out cash for a game you've had on your console the entire time.

There's still a chance to grab a limited edition DualSense controller today

If you're after a new PS5 controller but want to grab one of the limited edition models, you still have a chance. The Astro Bot and God of War versions are out of stock, but if you're a fan of Death Stranding 2, Ghost of Yotei, or Fortnite, you're still in luck.

The PDP Riffmaster sits proudly next to my PS5 24/7, and it's part of today's Cyber Monday deals

Back in the day, I was a master at the original Guitar Hero and could 5-star every single track no matter the difficulty, and have been chasing that euphoric guitar controller feeling ever since. Now I don't have a new Guitar Hero to obsess over, but using my Riffmaster while playing Fortnite Festival is the next best thing.

The controller feels really nice and robust in your hand, and is sort of like a Rockband x Guitar Hero controller hybrid in one. The buttons feel more in line with the original Rockband guitar controller, but they're accompanied by colored markings that represent the colors of the original Guitar Hero pad. I pretty much never bother with Fortnite Festival without it, and while it's not quite the same experience as the PS2 guitar controller era, the Riffmaster gets close. I swore by this headset while playing Deltarune on the PS5, and it's down to a record low price this Monday

Deltarune is one of my favorite games of all time, despite not being entirely finished, and its soundtrack is one of the reasons why. When the latest chapters dropped earlier this year, I made sure to have one of the best headsets at my disposal to give its OST justice, which turned out to be SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless.

This PS5 Pro deal is still a bargain, even where its price increase is concerned

When Sony announced its most recent wave of price increases in August of this year over on the PS Blog, it was confirmed that the PS5 Pro would go from $699.99 to $749.99. That meant the already expensive Sony pixel-pusher was an additional $50, and even more inaccessible than ever before for those on smaller budgets.

That also meant that any deals that appeared over this year's Black Friday and Cyber Monday were at stake. Fortunately, this year's PS5 Pro deal isn't just a saving where its new price is considered, but it's a saving where its original MSRP is considered too. At Amazon, you can grab the juiced-up Sony console for $648.99, which is $50 off its launch price. Would I have liked to see more than $50 off its original price when the Pro is more than a year old? Sure. But I was expecting a return to its original price, so I'll take this instead.

The original MGS Snake Eater was a pivotal game from my childhood, and I've been itching to play its remake since it launched earlier this year.

If you've ever played a Vanillaware game (Odin Sphere, Dragon's Crown) and thought to yourself - I'd love it if Vanillaware took on a Fire Emblem-style RPG instead, you're in luck. Unicorn Overlord plays very much like a homage to the Fire Emblem series, but instead of strategically moving your characters across a tiled environment, you're directing them through stunningly painted battlefields, with a fantastical Game of Thrones-style story in between.

I've easily put in more than 100 hours into this game, and don't regret a single minute. Everything, from the character design to the music, story, and art style is top-tier, and makes me excited for what else Vanillaware has up its sleeve. If you've been eyeing up any PS5 console bundles, game deals, or accessories, now is the time. The more we get into the day, the less likely any of these deal prices are gonna stick around tomorrow.

Usually, a lot of these savings do last a few more days, but with Black Friday and Cyber Monday gone and done with for another year, come the morning, we can't be sure what will stay and will pop right back up to its full price. To avoid any discount disappointment, I recommend buying what you want as soon as you possibly can. I still have to complete Death Stranding Director's Cut, but it's hard to ignore the fact that its sequel is down to just $49.99 at Best Buy right now. The Kojima game has only been out for a few months, so it's a shock to see $20 shaved off its full price so soon.

After Cyber Monday is long and over with, who knows the next time it'll drop this low, which is why I'm contemplating buying it now and setting it aside until I'm ready to finally continue the story. If you're in the same boat, you can grab it right now for its lowest-ever price, or wait patiently until it drops even lower in the future - but I can't promise that'll be any time soon.

One of the few third-party Switch 2 docks is now 30% cheaper

The Switch 2 is sadly allergic to many existing third-party docks out there, but this SIWIQU cradle does work and is now going for $25. The discount helps bring the accessory down to a more approachable price, as it'll normally set you back over $30, which isn't ideal if you just want a cheap secondary way to hook up to an external TV or monitor.

This gadget will give your OG Switch graphics a glow up

Many of you will still be rocking an original Nintendo Switch, and you might even pick one up this Cyber Monday. It's still one of the best gaming handhelds out there, but its docked mode abilities are starting to age. Luckily, the sequel sale is offering up 25% off an mClassic HDMI upscaler that will ramp things up to 1440p on supported monitors and help smooth things out using a baked-in anti-aliasing algorithm. It won't magically help the portable look like a Switch 2, but it does work wonders for the console's lower resolution visuals.

Looking for the cheapest Switch? You'll want to jump on renewed discounts!

Right now, the majority of Switch discounts will apply to games and accessories. If you are looking for a console, though, you can save on renewed OLED and Lite models. Amazon has the former for 22% less than new, and Best Buy has knocked the latter to under $180. Yes, you could take to second-hand sites and find used units yourself, but sticking with retailers does at least mean you'll get a backup guarantee and some reassurance that they've been refurbished and tested.

One of my favorite indie cat capers is back down to its lowest price

There's an endless number of indie games for the Switch, but Stray is absolutely up there with my favorites. I mean, who wouldn't want to roam around an apocalyptic landscape as a cat? Even my partner's dad picked it up recently and is loving frolicking around as a feline, but if he'd waited for Cyber Monday, he could have grabbed the physical version with bonus art cards for under $30.

This discounted gamepad has replaced my Switch Pro controller

Okay, this is a bit of a hear me out, as this looks like a weird remake of the Sega Saturn controller. It technically is, and that's what makes the Gulikit Elves 2 Pro great in my book, but it also happens to be a phenomenal alternative to the Switch 2 Pro. Not only is it rocking hall-effect thumbsticks and HD haptics, but it can also wake up Ninty's latest console, something even my original Pro controller isn't able to do.

This is the only way to save on the Switch 2 this Cyber Monday

The Mario Kart World bundle is the only way to save on your new handheld this Cyber Monday, with no official discounts on the device itself. A $499 bundle price is much better than the $529 cost of buying both separately, with around $30 still in your back pocket.

I wouldn't expect the Switch 2 to see any major savings in the first year of its life, so Cyber Monday discounts were always a little optimistic.

RIP Amiibo deals

The Legend of Zelda Amiibo were down to just $9.99 before the weekend, but those prices have shot up in the last few hours. Best Buy was leading the charge on these offers, but apparently there's no room in Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals for this $20 discount. They're back up at full $29.99 pricing at the yellow-label store, but Walmart does have a few savings on offer still.

This Tears of the Kingdom deal works for both Switch and Switch 2 players

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom is difficult to find on sale even on a good day, but Woot currently has the original version available for $46.99, down from $69.99. That's a deal for original Switch owners but also Switch 2 players.

The $10 upgrade pack gives you the full Switch 2 experience, and picking up both separately is still cheaper than grabbing the full $79.99 new cartridge release. Not only that, but if you've got Nintendo Switch Online with the Expansion Pack you get that upgrade completely free.

Should you buy a Nintendo Switch 2 on Cyber Monday?

The Nintendo Switch 2 is the big chaser this Cyber Monday, but - as expected - there aren't any major savings on the handheld itself. If you're looking to upgrade, though, it's still definitely worth a punt.

You're getting a larger, higher resolution screen, far more performance under the hood, and larger, more comfortable Joy-Con with that slick new mouse sensor as well. Again, the best discount continues to stay with the Mario Kart World bundle, but I'm not expecting any further sales to hit this device in the near future.

Nintendo hardware holds its value for an exceedingly long time. It took years for the original to see any savings, and with all that pricing turmoil earlier in the year, I would be surprised if the Switch 2 was any different.

Nothing on the Switch 2 Pro Controller

The official Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is holding firm on its $89 MSRP this Cyber Monday. That's a shame - this accessory actually held a slightly lower price tag when it was first announced, only for it to be increased inline with US tariffs. I had half my heart set on a $10 discount on this one, we even saw a similar discount on the official Switch 2 Joy-Con last week. For now, this is a full-price buy.

8BitDo has its own discounts though

If you do want to spend a little less on a traditional gamepad feel this Cyber Monday, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2 is your go-to. The asymmetric controller comes with Switch 2 compatibility and a charging dock straight out the box - all for $55.99 right now. That's $33 cheaper than the official Ninty version.

You are dropping a few rumble features here, but it's still one of Rosalie's go-tos. TMR thumbsticks improve on the original's less durable pad, with an extra ring of RGB lights to play with as well. Those LEDs can drain the battery pretty fast, though, and it's worth noting this controller can't wake the Switch 2 from sleep.

Rosalie's number 1 Nintendo Switch 2 case has never been cheaper

The Belkin Carrying Case is the best we've tested for Nintendo Switch 2 so far, and it's currently shaved its already solid $29.99 MSRP down to $21.99. This is a sturdy clamshell design with plenty of storage space for accessories and carts, and even a slick hidey hole for an Apple AirTag as well. A $6 on-page discount leads the way, but be sure to toggle that $2 coupon for the full saving.

The Razer Barracuda X was our go-to Nintendo Switch headset for a long time, before SteelSeries stole that value award. It's just taken a record breaking price cut, though, which puts it firmly back into my recommendations list this Cyber Monday.

You'll find this no-fuss wireless gaming headset for $64 at Amazon right now, with an extra $5 coupon dropping us into record-low territory. I generally only ever see these cups at $69 when on sale, down from their original $99.99 MSRP.

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds sees its first discount on Nintendo Switch

Sonic Racing CrossWorlds may have only launched a little while ago, but this Mario Kart competitor is already seeing its own discounts this Cyber Monday. The Nintendo Switch version of the game is now down to $30 at Walmart for the first time ever. This has been a full price release for most of its life up to now - not bad for one of the most fun releases of the year.

Sonic X Shadow Generations may be a better hedgehog adventure if you're after more classic Sonic action. Not only that, but this is the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game up on sale.

A $24.99 sale price is one of the cheapest I've seen on these newer carts, grabbing the game and taking full advantage of the system's boosted specs. Generations has trickled down the price scale since it launched, but I've still only ever seen it hovering around the $40 mark. This is a brand new record-low just for the holidays.

The CRKD Nitro Deck sat amongst our favorite Switch controllers for a long time. It's essentially a shell that the handheld's tablet slots into along its rails (hency why the Switch 2 isn't compatible), providing larger, more comfortable controls compared to the original Joy-Con.

You'll find the Nitro Deck on sale for its best price yet in this weekend's Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals, that $49.99 MSRP giving way to a $37.99 sales price for the first time.

MicroSD Express cards finally drop their prices

The official Samsung 256GB MicroSD Express card is taking a massive discount this Cyber Monday, dropping its $59.99 MSRP all the way down to $39.99. That's the first time I've seen a $20 discount on this must-have Nintendo Switch 2 accessory.

This card effectively doubles your storage space, and keeps up with the Switch 2's improved speeds to boot. It's at the top of Rosalie's recommendation list, but you'll need to look elsewhere if you need more than 256GB of space.

Echoes of Wisdom is still on sale at Walmart

Nintendo Switch games have taken a hit since Black Friday officially came to an end, but The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is holding firm at Walmart this weekend. The dungeon-crawling puzzler is available for $30 on these shelves, a rare drop below the usual $50 sale prices I see day to day.

The Switch Lite is out in the dark

I haven't seen any deals on the Nintendo Switch Lite worth pulling the trigger on this Cyber Monday. Ninty's cheapest handheld has actually had a tough time recently. The budget device has been difficult to find, and has seen a price increase from $199 to $229 over the course of the year as well.

All that has converged to leave the Switch Lite fully out in the dark this Cyber Monday. The best I can find is a $189.99 sale price on a yellow Japanese version, sold by LFA Mansion via Walmart.

This is the Nintendo Switch 2 case I'm watching this Cyber Monday

The Belkin Carrying Case might be our favorite standard clamshell for Switch 2, but this charging version is the one I've got my eye on this Cyber Monday. The carry case features a dedicated compartment for a supplied 10,000mAh power bank, which can charge your device while it's in and out of the case. No more running out of juice while the handheld is in sleep mode.

The $69.99 case is more expensive than the rest of the competition, and it hasn't shifted its price once in its life. It's a hail mary, then, but one I'm keeping a close eye on.

Don't sleep on Super Mario RPG

Super Mario RPG is a cheaper game by nature, but even this port can drop its price further. Woot has a $16.50 discount on the remaster, dropping it all the way down to $33.49. That's about as cheap as you'll find a first party Nintendo Switch game this Cyber Monday.

Earlier today, I found a new record-low price on one of our favorite gadgets for the original Nintendo Switch, but now I've just spotted the same offer on the new generation version. The CRKD Nitro Deck + has sailed down to $44.99 at Amazon this Cyber Monday, and it even comes with an HDMI connector to make it fully dockable as well.

Why go for the Pro Controller? Wake functionality

Very few Nintendo Switch 2 controllers have the ability to wake your docked handheld from sleep mode. The official Pro gamepad, in fact, is one of the only models with this feature baked in. Its $89 MSRP is a lot to pay for such a luxury, but it can make a big difference, especially when piled in with that luxurious form factor, excellent rumble, and tight thumbstick tensioning. If you don't want to get up, undock your Switch, turn it on, and sit back down again before playing on the big screen it's well worth investigating.

Head to Walmart for Super Mario Galaxy

Prices on this Super Mario Galaxy bumper pack have been all over the place in the last week, but I haven't seen anyone offering Walmart's current rate. The two-pack is available for $59.99 here, $10 off the full $69.99 launch price. I've seen figures hovering around the $62 mark when on sale in the last few days, so this is a record-low on a recent first party release. That's always a recipe for success.

Steer clear of these Switch 2 bundles at Best Buy

Don't be fooled by these Nintendo Switch 2 mega-bundles at Best Buy. They're overcharging you.

Take this $719.99 package. You've got the Nintendo Switch 2 ($449.99), Mario Kart World ($79.99), Switch 2 Joy-Con Wheels ($24.99), Pro Controller ($89.99) and a MightySkins skin (approx $30). By my calculations, all that bought separately would cost $673.97, and that's not even taking the Mario Kart World bundle into account.

Steer well clear.

Switch Sports is down to $30 in Walmart's Cyber Monday Nintendo Switch deals, excellent news for anyone still missing Wii Sports from back in the day. That's a $20 discount from the original $49.99, though note not all games will work on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Howdy! We're now entering the final day of 2025 Nintendo Switch deals with Cyber Monday, at least in terms of seasonal savings. I'm back on the ground looking for the top offers and anything new before midnight tonight, as that's when prices should jump back up to their full amount. That doesn't always happen, but I wouldn't risk missing out on any discounts, especially with Christmas looming.

Keep a close eye on Best Buy's flash sale

I find it highly suspicious that Best Buy has a whole "flash sale" page with Switch and Switch 2 consoles listed at full price. That to me suggests discounts will kick into gear at some point today, so I'd keep the retailers tab open and check in with us regularly for updates. I can't see why there'd be a specific Nintendo subsection with consoles within but no deals, and I suspect the big box store is up to something.

This controller is a must have for N64 games on Switch

The 8Bitdo N64 controller technically exists to pair with the new Analogue 3D, but it also happens to have a Switch mode. That helps it sync directly up to the handheld to become a modern alternative to the official Nintendo 64 Online controller, and it will provide a far more modern feel with the right button layout. It's also just over $30 for Cyber Monday, although the current discount is on the white version rather than the black.

The Switch 2 case I use is down to $15

Yes, I know cases are boring, but Jsaux's slim carrying case really has saved my Switch 2 from backpack harm. It's slightly less bulky than alternatives while still feeling surprisingly rugged, and it's down to its lowest price thanks to Cyber Monday. It's certainly leagues ahead of some accessories I've used with handhelds in the past, and it truthfully feels pretty close to an official add-on in terms of build quality.

No Switch 2 console deals *yet*

I'm not exactly surprised, but the Switch 2 is pretty much sitting at full price across the board right now. I do think Best Buy has something in the works given that flash deals page I shared earlier with no discounts under Nintendo yet, but I wouldn't be shocked if nothing happens. We are talking a new console that just launched in the summer, and price increases as the result of US tariffs mean there's less to chop off of prices than usual.

Our top Switch 2 headset is under $80

It's sadly not available in the lovely lilac color we've tested, but the black SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3P is 27% less for Cyber Monday. That's not too shabby for a headset that offers Bluetooth, 2.4GHz support, and a great mic. Plus, it's pretty comfortable, making it perfect for chilled couch sessions in docked mode.

Say bye bye to Switch battery woes with this power bank

Modern handhelds aren't all that when it comes to battery life, so one of the best accessories you can buy for the Switch is a power bank. I tend to use Jsaux's 20,000mAh pack that was originally designed to pair with the Steam Deck, but has since been tasked with also providing the Switch 2 with juice. It's certainly on the beefy side in terms of capacity, and its 65W means it's got the muscles to carry most handhelds even with accessories connected.

Is the Switch 2 Pro controller really worth $89?

We need to talk about the Switch 2 Pro controller, especially since it's resisting discounts right now.

Firstly, is it actually worth its $89 price tag? If I'm being real with you, the price tag is all wrong, especially since the OG gamepad launched for around $50. Yes, price increases have naturally happened since 2017, but it's still a bit of a shock since many third-party alternatives out there are usually under $40. Ninty's new accessory is also lacking the usual "Pro" features included with PS5 and Xbox equivalents, like adjustable triggers and hall effect thumbsticks, which adds insult to injury.

Make no mistake - the Switch 2 Pro controller is still great, but there are plenty of alternatives with elevated features I'll be highlighting throughout the rest of Cyber Monday

Is the Switch Lite worth grabbing if it drops?

The Switch Lite might feel like old news, but it's actually still a remarkably compact handheld with big abilities. I mean, you're talking about something that can still fit in larger pockets and run huge adventures like Breath of the Wild. However, getting it for the right price is vital, and even with a Cyber Monday discount, it might not be worth picking up brand new.

Discounts are worth considering, but unless you're specifically looking for the lightest, travel-friendly way to play Ninty games, you'll want to watch what you spend on the baby Switch. It lacks docking abilities and has a much smaller screen, and it really lends itself to handheld play on a budget.

PSA: The "Express" part matters when buying a Switch 2 microSD card

It's incredibly irritating, but the Switch 2 uses a new kind of storage card for game installations. The one you'll need is specifically a "microSD Express", which features faster read/write speeds than previous standards. If you pick up a non-Express card, you'll only be able to store screenshots and clips, which isn't so handy if you've maxed out the handheld's storage with downloads.

Are they overpriced, considering they're largely only 256GB? Absolutely, but Ninty has sort of implemented a bit of a stealth proprietary storage option with the Switch 2. Yes, you can use various brands of cards, but not having the option to use a slower card that would have ultimately worked fine, since the Steam Deck uses them, is pretty irritating.

Star Wars Outlaws is now $30 on Switch 2

Star Wars Outlaws has been on my back burner for a while, but I might have to grab it now that it's $30. The half-price discount brings it to a record low for Cyber Monday, and while I have issues with the fact that it's a game "key card" that still requires a download, it's still one you can physically add to your shelf with the rest of your collection. It also happens to be the Gold Edition that comes with a bunch of DLC goodies.

Not to be a party pooper, but Switch 2 prices could go up in 2026

As we consider the lack of Cyber Monday Switch 2 console deals this year, I want to touch on the idea of price increases next year. Times are a little bit turbulent for tech prices thanks to ever-changing US tariffs and demand for components like RAM, and those factors could ultimately prompt Nintendo to increase hardware prices.

I'm not saying you should buy a Switch 2 at full price, but I do think potential price increases next year are a reality. So, if it looks like discounts won't be a thing as Cyber Monday comes to a close, you may want to consider whether you really want to wait for the handheld and risk changing circumstances in the future.

Make sure to grab the right charger for your Switch 2

Fun fact - did you know the Switch 2 uses a 60W charger? In fact, if you have lower than that and you try to use it with the docking station, it isn't going to supply enough juice. So, rather than be silly like I was shortly after launch, you'll want to grab the right adapter while it's cheaper for Cyber Monday.

I'd recommend this Jsaux 65W USB-C adapter since it'll fast charge your Switch 2 and most other devices. The handheld does come with its own plug, but if you like to keep that connected to your dock and need something for travelling, this one will fit the bill.

Most webcams work with the Switch 2, and the one I use is 21% off

It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking you need a specific Switch 2 Camera, but most USB webcams are actually compatible. I actually use a Logitech C920 I've had for years, and you can grab the refreshed 'X' model for less thanks to Cyber Monday right now. Ultimately, opting for something that isn't specific to Nintendo's console means it'll have a use beyond silly Mario Kart avatars and online chat, and it'll provide solid 1080p visuals for less than the official accessory.

Do you need a Switch 2 right now? Here's what I told a friend who asked

While chatting with a pal about Cyber Monday Switch deals, they took the opportunity to ask me whether they should consider a Switch 2. Nintendo's best gaming handheld to date will be on a lot of fans' minds, but it's not necessarily a must-have. I told them that unless they're looking to play the latest adventures as soon as they hit, the OG Switch is fine for now, especially if you're just looking to play Stardew Valley and any of the Pokémon games.

This might be your last chance to grab Switch 2 deals in 2025, but discounts will naturally pop up in the future. Now could be a better time instead to grab games you've been meaning to play for the original handheld, or even invest in some cheaper accessories that'll help you enjoy the outings you already own.

Let's talk cheaper Switch GameCube controller recs

If you got a Switch 2 specifically for GameCube games, then you might have winced at the official controller price. It's pretty steep to say the least for a remake of a specific gamepad, so there are cheaper and arguably more authentic ways to play. I personally use a Mayflash adapter I've had since the dark days of the Wii U, and it happens to work on Ninty's latest handheld. It will let you use the console's original pads with the new console, and alternatives that are included in the Cyber Monday sale will do the same.

I'll include both here, but keep in mind I've only tested the Mayflash version. The "CLOUDREAM" version does say it's Switch 2 compatible, though, so it might be worth a go!

Should you just buy a Steam Deck instead?

Blasphemy! That's exactly what some of you will be shouting at the mere notion of buying a Steam Deck over the Switch or Switch 2. I love Ninty's handheld, but it's only right to highlight that some players will benefit more from a gaming handheld. If you're the type that likes to play various different indie adventures and are used to Valve storefront prices on PC, you'll want to keep to the same ecosystem as your rig, as it'll help you access the games you actually want for less.

Switch games are, by and larg,e more expensive, and the main reason to buy Nintendo's handheld is the exclusives. The Switch 2 has the added benefit of being able to hit 4K 60fps, and newer releases are respectable on the portable compared to its predecessor. However, when it comes to accessing a wider pool of outings for less, portable PCs are the way to go.

Got the Online Expansion Pack? This is the Tears of the Kingdom version you want

Here's a bit of a hack - if you already have the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion pack and don't have Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can get a free upgrade to the Switch 2 Enhanced Edition. The revamped version actually comes as part of your subscription, meaning you can nab the older copy for under $60 instead of paying $80. You will naturally need to be signed up to the service, but your sub will grant you access to the 4K version.

I'd seriously consider playing Metroid Prime 4 a gaming monitor like this

Okay, look, you don't need a pricey gaming monitor for your Switch 2, but I reckon using a Dual Resolution screen with the handheld will be wicked, especially for games like Metroid Prime 4. The reason? It's a shooter that has a 1080p 120Hz mode and mouse support, so using something like an LG OLED screen that can do full HD integer scaling is going to look and feel fantastic.

While there are cheaper 1440p screens that can reach well over 120Hz, and technically the Dual Resolution screens are overkill at 480Hz, you won't find much in the way of 1080p OLED monitors otherwise. Therefore, I think if you're planning on buying a fancy new screen anyway, and happen to have a Switch 2 within your setup, an LG Dual Resolution screen is ideal, and there's a variant of the one I've tested at Best Buy with $470 off.

This Switch accessory changed how I store my Switch games

I used to be that person who'd keep all their Switch game boxes to hand for easy access, even if it meant bringing them with me on my travels. It all feels very silly, but I just wasn't into keeping my carts anywhere but the box they originally came in. I've been watching out for something happening at Best Buy with its flash sale, but nothing has kicked in yet. I still find it extremely weird that the full price consoles are at the top of its specific "1-day only Doorbuster" deals, so I'll be continuing to monitor the situation so I can let you know ASAP. You'll be the first to know if the Switch 2 returns to its lowest price, or we get some record lows on the OLED and Lite models.

It's not at its lowest, but I fear my favorite Switch controller could soon vanish

I've yet to find a Switch controller that makes me smile more than PowerA's Kirby Mouthful gamepad. I mean, look at it, I really don't need to explain why a pad that looks like it's been swallowed by the pink puffball is delightful. I've been waiting for it to drop all weekend, and while it's certainly not at its lowest right now, I'd maybe consider grabbing it in case it's gearing up to be discontinued.

The only retailer I've managed to spot the PowerA Kirby Mouthful controller at is Walmart, as it's AWOL from Amazon and other stores. That suggests to me that supplies are now limited, so while it's not quite as cheap as during previous sales, that could be because it'll soon no longer be available new.

I bought this OLED TV in time for the Switch 2, but you can buy the latest model for the same price

I was really hoping I could tell you to buy the excellent LG OLED C4 for a new record low price this Cyber Monday. Instead, the sale decided to set its sights on the newer OLED C5 model by making it practically the same price. As much as I love my TV, there's no point telling you to grab last year's panel when the latest version is down to about the same, but both are excellent, vibrant displays with 144Hz abilities and ridiculous levels of 4K detail.

That hidden Switch OLED Cyber Monday deal you can't see without Prime? It's not a deal

Amazon has some explaining to do.

When I happened upon a Switch OLED with a mysterious hidden Prime deal, I started to get excited. However, it turns out that it's "down" to $359.99, which is basically the going rate. Yes, a price hike did increase things to £399.99 this year, but I'm not exactly impressed by an offer using that to try and pretend there's a real terms price cut on offer.

You're really going to have to do better than that, Amazon.

The Nitro Deck basically makes your Switch into a pseudo Steam Deck for under $40

I don't know about you, but it feels weird holding on OG Switch after grasping onto chonky handhelds like the Steam Deck. In a way, it's that weirdness that the Nitro Deck aims to avoid, as it adds some nice heft that lends itself to better ergonomics. You're naturally getting a nice set of controls, anti-drift hall effect thumbsticks, and colors that pay tribute to the mighty GameCube, too, but I would say the main reason to jump on the current Cyber Monday deal is form factor.

The Hori Split Pad makes for a pretty excellent full-bodied Switch controller, and there's a Pokémon version for under $40 right now. It's weirdly $20 less than the original black gamepads, so even if you're not that into Pikachu and Charizard, it's still the model that's worth picking up simply due to price.

The goth hedgehog game is half price

Look, I know all the real Shadow fans will, of course, already have Sonic X Shadow Generations. This one is for the casuals who haven't picked up a copy yet and can vibe with the hedgehog's brooding personality, or even just enjoy the blue blur's usual outings. There are Switch and Switch 2 versions, but the former is seemingly an actual cart rather than one of those new-fangled "key cards" with nothing actually on it.

8Bitdo's wonderful N64 controller just nose dived to a new record low price!

This just in - the 8Bitdo N64 controller that works with Nintendo Switch, PC, and, of course, the Analogue 3D, just dropped all the way down to a new record low. The 35% discount isn't even marked up as a Cyber Monday gaming deal, which goes to show it's worth checking outside of Amazon's filters and sale nonsense.

This is a marvellous modern take on the N64 gamepad that switches things up from a weird trident design to something contemporary without messing with the layout. I've spent countless hours using this pad since its release, and it feels ridiculously natural when playing classics like Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Goldeneye on the Switch and even the OG console.

Technically a good deal for 512GB of Switch 2 storage, but I'm still grumpy about microSD Express cards

Yes, this Samsung P9 microSD Express card will add 512GB storage to your Switch 2 for less than usual. No, I'm still not happy about it, as I feel like the format is overpriced considering Ninty's handheld is the only device that really makes use of it right now. It'll no doubt become a de facto eventually, but you're still paying more for this amount of room for game installs due to the fancier speeds than you would say a more standardized microSD card for the Steam Deck.

You do need to use Express for Switch 2 installs, though, so don't get any bright ideas.

If you do want a cheaper Switch OLED, you'll want to go with renewed

It's been a bit of a disappointing day for Switch OLED deals, given its yet to get the Best Buy flash sale treatment, and Amazon is trying to pass normal pricing off as a discount. However, you can still grab a refurbished model for under $300 if you're hellbent on getting one, and it's not a bad option if you care about screen vibrancy more than enhanced performance via the Switch 2.

This is a Zelda flavor of that Kirby Switch controller from earlier for under $30

The Kirby Mouthful PowerA controller is still my favorite, but this Zelda variant is very cute. It's got a little Hylian shield on the left grip, and I'm digging the blue and white contrast. For under $30, this is a gamepad well worth considering this Cyber Monday, even if it does take AA batteries and lacks USB charging (hey, maybe that's some old school charm for all the Xbox 360 fans out there.)

Grab the Final Fantasy pixel remasters for cheap

Square Enix basically hates putting this thing on sale, so it's worth picking up the chunky Final Fantasy pixel remaster collection for the Nintendo Switch while it's nearly $40 off. This matches the previous-record low price that's popped up this month, and I have a hard time imagining it getting much lower in the near future.

In fact, this deal is so good that I bought it for myself.

For when you want to travel with the whole Switch 2 system

There are a lot of different Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 cases on the market, and that's without getting into OLED vs Lite and so on. But of all of them, this one from RDS Industries it the aton Switch 2 launch, I've come to enjoy it and even prefer it.

Which, for me, is a bit unusual. I tend to prefer the slimmer travel cases, but this deluxe one is designed to carry the Switch 2 and its dock without issue – safe and secure. It helps that the Cyber Monday deal matches the record-low price as well.

The vast majority of Switch and Switch 2 deals I'm seeing this Cyber Monday are games, which isn't terribly surprising. But most of the truly significant discounts are on games that I can't honestly recommend whether they're $50 or $5. If you've ever gone bargain bin diving, you know the feeling.

In the case of Unicorn Overlord, however, I can wholeheartedly recommend picking it up at this price, which matches the lowest it's ever been. The strategy RPG was my GOTY last year, and I'm easily the reason it made GamesRadar+'s overall list. (You're welcome, in advance.)

Don't get trapped by the Switch 2 Piranha Plant camera

Yes, the Hori Piranha Plant camera for the Nintendo Switch 2 is extremely cute, but it's a trap! Despite being stuck at its record-low price of $39.99 for months, the Hori camera pales in comparison to the official Nintendo Switch 2 camera. The picture quality just isn't the same.

If you're looking to pick up a Switch 2 camera this Cyber Monday, you're better off shelling out an additional $15 to grab the official Nintendo Switch 2 camera for $54 at Amazon despite the fact that it's not the cheapest one out there.

There's plenty of Sonic to be had for Nintendo Switch

Sonic Origins Plus is maybe the best value, overall, per dollar on the Nintendo Switch. There are caveats here what with 12 of the 16 included games being DLC Game Gear titles and the fact that it had a rough launch with some buggy updates, but things have largely been ironed out since then and it's still 16 entire Sonic video games. Top to it all off, Amy Rose is playable for the first time in Sonic, Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, and Sonic CD as part of this collection.

All of that is hard to pass up when $19.99 matches the previous record-low price from Amazon.

For a slimmer Switch 2 case...

This Belkin Nintendo Switch 2 case is only $6 off, but that matches the previous record-low price over on Amazon. If you're in the market for a slightly more compact case as opposed to the RDS Industries one I recommended earlier, this is the one that I've had my own eyes on for a bit.

The Belkin Switch 2 case still has that nice hard shell but a soft interior with a sleeve for games and even a little AirTag compartment if you're interested in more broadly keeping track of your Switch 2 out in the wild.

Two Mario + Rabbids games is better than one

OK, yes, this dual pack of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle and Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is just a game download in a box. And this explicitly does not include the DLC. But both games are shockingly smart little tactical adventures, like plopping Mario and the Rabbids into an XCOM-shaped blender and giving it a go.

At the record-low price of $14.99, it's hard not to recommend this bundle despite all of the caveats. If you don't care about not having a physical game card, that makes this deal even better.

Best not buy, at least for now

We have been constantly watching Best Buy and its Cyber Monday flash sale all day long, and there's really not much day left, but still nothing has really caught our eye that isn't cheaper elsewhere or at the very least matched by the likes of Amazon.

If Best Buy has been waiting until the last moment to actually come through with Nintendo Switch deals, well, it would surprise me. But stranger things have happened, and there's every possibility that something will come through in the end. Who knows? (I don't! But suspect not.)

A solid Switch 2 controller for cheap

As stated before, PowerA is one of my favorite brands for third-party gaming hardware, and the Nintendo Switch 2 line of accessories is no different. This Switch 2 wired controller is currently $29.99 in black, which matches the previous record-low price, and the Mario-themed one is even cheaper at $28.65 – which is, for that version, also a match to the previous record-low price.

With two mappable buttons underneath and Hall effect sticks, this is a great deal for a solid controller. The only thing better would be if this were for the wireless version, but even with being tethered to the console this is pretty dang good.

The Cyber Monday retro deals are technically over, but there are still big savings right now on some mini arcade cabinets, handhelds, and more. While many prices will jump back up to full, and some discontinued consoles could even end up more expensive if supplies are depleted, there are still some remaining discounts for anyone seeking ways to play the classics.

Some of the best retro consoles around ended up cheaper this Cyber Monday, and we spent the event highlighting even some stealth savings on consoles that used to be more expensive. There are some offers still live, though, and it's worth checking some of them just in case they vanish for good.

It's not an exaggeration to say that Pokemon cards can be an absolute nightmare to get your hands on, so any kind of discount can feel like finding a shiny version of your favorite pocket monster. That's why this Black Friday offer made my eyes pop a little bit.

You can currently pick up the Phantasmal Flames Charizard ex Ultra Premium Collection for $174.99 at Walmart rather than the store's listed price of $250-odd. Which may not feel like a very reasonable price, seeing as that MSRP is drastically inflated. But I've been covering Pokemon cards for a while now and can safely say that it's far, far cheaper than I'm seeing elsewhere. Indeed, the pack has proven incredibly difficult to find as is, so it's well worth considering if you're a fan of one of the best card games.

So, what are you actually getting in this pack of Pokemon cards? It's pretty stacked, all things considered, and serves as a solid starting point for anyone wanting to kick off the Phantasmal Flames set in style. To start with, you're obviously getting the foil promo card featuring Mega Charizard X ex - no surprises there, seeing as it's shown very prominently on the cover. However, you're also getting a foil promo card with Oricorio ex, 65 card sleeves showing Mega Charizard X, a Mega Charizard X playmat, a Mega Charizard X metal coin, six damage-counter dice, and 18 booster packs. Oh, and don't forget the code card for Pokemon TCG Live.

Does it suck that we have to pay over the odds for the privilege of this, even during the Black Friday Pokemon card deals? Absolutely. But unfortunately, that's just the reality of the situation right now. Unless you're incredibly quick and/or lucky enough to find the cards at launch price via the Pokemon Center or indie sites (which is easier said than done, seeing as they sell out almost instantly), we've got no other choice.

Normally, I'd be loath to suggest paying over the odds for something like this. But considering the average cost of the pack is around $213 according to price-matching software, $175 is actually pretty good by comparison.

With all the big-ticket discounts, it's easy to forget how many video game deals there are over Black Friday. Titles new and old, big and small, and on all platforms see discounts of varying amounts.

You could very easily spend the entire Black Friday weekend hunting down all sorts of discounts on video game, window shopping to your heart's content, but you don't need to. That's because I've found several great deals per (modern) console, on titles you need to play. Each of the games I select have seen price cuts in Black Friday that mean there's no need to wait before playing them.

While the most flashy Black Friday TV deals are on expensive sets with specs like micro-LED, QLED, 120Hz and 8K resolutions, you don't need to spend a lot to get a lot. I've picked my five favorite discounted sets, which all cost under $300.

Because I don't want you to feel like you've wasted your money, the sets I've picked are all from known and reliable brands. They come with a variety of specs and software, but they're all under $300 with their discounted price. Most are 55-inches, because that size when discounted comes just under the price threshold, but if you want a smaller panel, those are discounted too. Oh, and they're all 4K, because you deserve nothing less.

Why did I cap the price at $300? Well generally, I'd say $400-$450 is what you have to pay, to make sure you're getting a set without any annoying limitations or compromises. However over Black Friday, that threshold lowers to roughly $300. I'd buy any of these sets and would be perfectly happy with them.

It's hard to appreciate until you've tried it, but buying a soundbar can be the one purchase that palpably upgrades your gaming experience. These TV- or PC- compatible speaker bars offer much greater sound fidelity than screens' built-in panels, and over Black Friday they can also be subject to some heart discounts.

If you didn't know, Black Friday is now and so the soundbar deals are live now. Currently, we're seeing major price cuts in audio products from a range of major companies like JBL, Amazon, Roku and Bose. If you've already picked up a Black Friday TV deal, this will be the perfect accompaniment to it.

Since I've tested soundbars and other speakers from a few major companies, I've gone through the Black Friday soundbar deals to find you a few picks worth considering. I'll order them from cheapest to most expensive, of course with the latter bringing you amazing audio but the first few being great for their price.

Just a note, on something that confused me before I covered audio. When you see a soundbar billed as 2.0, or 5.1, or 7.1, those numbers aren't some arbitrary grading system.

They in fact refer to the number of channels, and its ratio of full-range ones to subwoofers (the latter used for bass). So 5.1 means 5 normal speakers, one bass one. Generally, more is better, but most audio fans want some bass too, and only cheaper options are .2.

Everyone's talking about the first few episodes of Stranger Things season 5, and if you're also suffering psychic torment at having to wait weeks for the next batch, I'd like to draw your attention to the Hellfire Club D&D Starter Set.

Sure, it won't reveal what's going to happen next in the final season. But it does allow you to immerse yourself in the world of Stranger Things until then, with a bespoke, beginner-friendly campaign based on Eddie Munson's own Dungeons & Dragons sessions for the Hellfire Club (currently $39.98 at Amazon instead of $50). Unlike the normal D&D Starter Set, it's rooted firmly in the Stranger Things world, and everything about it is 'in-universe.' That means you'll find hand-written notes from Eddie himself to our heroes, props like the Hellfire Club member's photo, and character sheets created by the likes of Mike, Dustin, and Lucas. While it uses the new rules for one of the best tabletop RPGs, it also focuses on a more old-school aesthetic befitting the 1980s. That makes it incredibly nostalgic swords-n-sorcery fare in its own right.

I've been digging into this pack myself and, as someone who adores both Stranger Things and D&D, it's making my nerd heart very happy. While it doesn't necessarily continue or kick off the Vecna campaign we saw play out during season 4, it's pitched by Eddie through in-universe notes as a good starting point for Dustin's first try as a Dungeon Master once Eddie has graduated school (eesh, little did he know). These are all themed around Eddie's homebrew world of Greyhawkins (a double reference, thanks to the Stranger Things town, but also the D&D setting of Greyhawk), but someone's clearly let slip about the Upside Down because some very familiar monsters have been included in the line-up as adversaries. Maybe Dustin, Mike, or Lucas passed them off as their own creations? Either way, it's a fun method of getting Upside Down shenanigans into play without it feeling forced.

Just like the 'standard' beginner box (which I think might be the best D&D Starter Set we've ever had), this has an abundance of user-friendly tools to help newcomers get going. Hand-drawn maps and tokens that look like Eddie made them using Sharpies are included to visualize combat; there are monster cards for easy reference, and you get item/spell cards to use rather than having to remember all those stats off the top of your head.

My favorite feature would have to be the adventure booklets, though. These have been weathered and made to look like official '80s-era sourcebooks, so they absolutely look the part. This is true of the entire pack, actually; it really doesn't feel like a cheap tie-in with a slap-dash Stranger Things overlay. A lot of thought and care has been put into it, and I'm totally in love with that original art style present throughout.

I'm a fan of how it takes you through how to run and play sessions step by step too; D&D can be intimidating to get into, but not here. Because it's so accessible, there's an argument to be made that it could be a good game to add to your collection this Holiday season...

When it comes to controllers, I'm a bit too monogamous for my own good. By that, I tend to get too comfortable with a specific gamepad and forget to branch out. However, the Gulikit Elves Pro 2 recently entered my life, swept me off my feet, and has prompted me to essentially ditch most other gamepads I used to use, including the Switch Pro controller.

Truth be told, the Gulikit Elves 2 Pro is the only controller I'd personally buy for PC and Switch this Black Friday. Luckily, it is down to $39.99 from $49.99 at Amazon, so that'll save me full price if I end up buying a player two pad for my partner. But, even without a discount, I'm pretty head over heels for this pad and its premium perks, which include hall effect thumbsticks, a 1,000Hz polling rate, and HD haptics.

Before getting my mitts on the Elves 2 Pro, I figured it'd end up just being one of my retro controller alternatives, or at least something I'd use with the best retro consoles and an adapter. While it more than fills that brief, its compact Sega Saturn-inspired shape, d-pad, and full-size thumbsticks make it one hell of a PC controller that will work with just about every device you can think of.

Look, I get it - the Elves 2 Pro looks weird. Upon showing the gamepad to our in-house reviewer, Duncan, he dunked on it by saying, "It looks like what a non-gamer would sketch if you asked them to draw you a gaming controller. One of my retro console-collecting pals also described it as a "Sega Saturn pad on steroids," which honestly sounds like an accidental compliment.

I've spent enough time testing the Elves Pro 2 to know Gulikit shouldn't lose any sleep over those comments. Its controller feels ridiculously comfortable in the hands for something with a '90s shape, and every button press feels fantastically tactile. I've been using it to play everything from Mario Kart World on Switch 2 to even outings on Steam Deck, and I haven't once felt like I'm using something with an antiquated design.

Controllers are pretty subjective, so I completely get if you'd rather have something with modern grips. The gamepad's color palette might also be lost on those of you who've never actually seen an original Japanese Sega Saturn pad, but believe me when I say Gulikit has nailed the look and the feel of that now 30-year-old accessory. Even the texture of the d-pad is spot-on, which is funny given even exact replicas I've tried aren't quite right.

Before it starts to sound like the Gulikit Elves 2 Pro, I want to highlight some drawbacks. The first is a biggie if you're into racing games, as this gamepad doesn't use analogue triggers. Just like the Switch Pro controller, they're digital, so no pressure sensitivity or variable input. It's certainly not a dealbreaker for Ninty's console, and I would argue that unless you've got a specific preference for shooters or you love driving games with acceleration, it's not going to be a huge con.

I am still testing the Elves Pro 2, so I'll be sharing full thoughts after the Black Friday storm blows over. That said, I'm willing to call it the best controller for Steam Deck at the very least, as it's travel-friendly without compromising on full-feeling controls. For under $40, I can't think of a gamepad I've tested with better build quality, perhaps other than the 8Bitdo N64 controller that's designed to pair with the Analogue 3D, but even then, I could use this pad for every single system I own (and I do own a lot of them).

And yes, there are plenty of other controllers out there that the rest of my team will recommend this Black Friday. This just happens to be the only one I'd buy that's discounted right now, especially given the value it packs for under $40.

PS5 SSD pricing can always be a bit funny. A ton of US and UK retailers like to state any given drive is on sale, but when I use my handy CamelCamelCamel price checker, it's actually been far cheaper over the last six months, which is a huge bummer.

Take, for example, the Samsung Pro 990, which is currently our team's go-to PS5 SSD. Retailers like Amazon state it's on sale as part of this week's Black Friday PS5 deals, but according to our price checker, its current $199.99 "deal" price is actually marginally more than the $170 it was averaging over the last few months. That's why I recommend that you grab the Crucial P310 SSD while it's down to $239.99 at Best Buy instead.

For just $40 more than the 'discounted' 2TB Samsung Pro 990 SSD, you're getting double its storage with 4TB to play with. That's more than plenty to download as many new PlayStation Plus Premium games as your heart desires, and I should know, as I have a 4TB SSD taking up the M.2 slot in the back of my Sony console this very moment.

Should you buy the Crucial P310 4TB Internal SSD for the PS5?

I actually needed 4TB worth of every space, so this drive was a perfect fit. If you prefer physical games online, don't play online games like Fortnite that take a nasty chunk of your onboard console storage with every update, and are not an active PS Plus member, you likely won't have the need to have 4000GB at your disposal.

For me, it's been a relief as I've been able to focus purely on what I want to play, and have been able to spend less time in my console settings picking out what games to delete. In fact, because of this drive, I reinstalled Fortnite as I finally had the over 90GB worth of space to keep it around, and as a result, I've been able to enjoy the latest Simpsons crossover, which is a big deal as I'm pretty obsessed with the residents of Springfield. I've enjoyed it so much that I rejoined Fortnite Crew too, something I'd not have bothered with had I been stuck with the storage-demanding needs of the game.

While its 4TB storage is all well and good, this drive is definitely not as speedy as the Samsung 990 Pro mentioned earlier, but it's not too bad either. According to its on-the-box specs, the Crucial P310 4TB Internal SSD can reach average sequential reads/writes up to 7,100 and 6,000MB/s, which is pretty much what you'd expect. The recommended sequential speed for a PS5 dive is at least 5,500 MB/s, so you're not going to have any issues loading or running games straight off the Crucial P310 SSD at least - it'll get the job done.

Of course, if money is no issue and you'd rather have the best of the best, you can still grab the 2TB Samsung 990 Pro for $199.99 at Amazon right now. Just don't come crawling to me when it drops back down to the $170 mark after Black Friday is over and done with.

But if you find yourself having to uninstall your favorite games to play new ones, or bumping up against the hundred-plus GB space of current titles, then you should seriously buying one of these cards. They can be plugged into your Xbox really simply, and games will run off of them just fine.

Admittedly, they're a little expensive at MSRP, especially the monstrous 4TB one, but that's what sales are for, right?

The Storage Expansion Cards will be particularly useful to owners of the Xbox Series X. Since that disc-free console can only play digital games, getting several terabytes of extra space will add so much space for new titles.

They'll also be great buys for people who use Xbox Games Pass, so you can download multiple titles from the subscription at once instead of juggling one or two at any time.

But many like them, just for the assurances that you won't need to constantly play Tetris with your storage space to make sure you can play new games when you get them.

After struggling through the Black Friday deluge like Obi-Wan Kenobi in a Kamino downpour, I think I've finally found the bounty hunter Lego Star Wars deal we're looking for.

The UCS Jango Fett's Firespray-Class Starship set came out earlier in 2025, and like many of the best Lego sets, has stubbornly clung to full price for the majority of its time on shelves. That's all changed in time for Black Friday, though, and the kit just got slashed in cost for Walmart's Lego Star Wars sale, dropping down to $268 instead of the usual $300. It's certainly one of the better Black Friday Lego deals I've seen as a result.

As with all UCS (Ultimate Collector Series) models, this one is very rich in detail. At 2,970 pieces, it's a massive kit that crams in more than most of its peers; this one has the usual ramps and opening compartments you'd expect from a Lego vehicle, but opts for a to-scale cockpit, adjustable cannons, landing and flight modes, and a compartment from which to release a seismic charge. You know, just in case you get tailed by pesky Jedi.

There are a couple minifigures along for the ride too; you of course get Jango Fett himself (with helmet or maskless) and little Boba Fett, decked out in his Kamino tunic.

If that feels a little pricey, even as part of the Black Friday Lego sale, don't worry. The smaller, cheaper version is also available for less than usual, and you can grab Lego Jango Fett's Starship for $55.99 at Walmart instead of the normal $69.99 MSRP. This one is basically the UCS model's smaller brother; it shares the same design but is shrunken right down, serving as much as a playset as a display piece.

Honestly, now I'm curious to see if we get a repainted Boba Fett version. The ship doesn't really change beyond the color-scheme when we see it in the original trilogy, so it feels like a slam dunk for Lego; they can relaunch it with a Boba Fett minifigure, perhaps a cheeky Han Solo in carbonite, and maybe Fennec Shand and Mandalorian-era Boba so that you can use the model to represent either period.

If you just got yourself a Nintendo Switch 2 this Black Friday but aren't best pleased about the handheld's measly 256GB onboard storage, you're gonna need a microSD Express Card.

These new speedy cards are great at boosting your new handheld's storage, but they can be pretty pricey. Today's Black Friday Switch deals have changed all that, as now there's a myriad of discounts to be found on all manner of Switch 2 SD cards, ranging from $25 off (Amazon) the 512GB Samsung P9 model, to an official $30 off discount heading to the official 256GB Samsung card later this week.

So you don't accidentally grab a non-compatible SD card, I've gathered all the best Black Friday Switch 2 SD card deals I can find down below. There isn't a whole lot of variation in the storage capacity of microSD Express Cards quite yet, so most of these will be 256GB or 512GB cards. But honestly, I recommend grabbing any extra storage you can to keep your Ninty handheld as futureproof as possible, especially with games like Metroid Prime 4 Beyond just around the corner.

Do you need a microSD Express Card for the Nintendo Switch 2?

If you want any additional storage for your new Ninty handheld, you'll need to invest in one of the best microSD Express Cards available today. That's because only these new speedy cards can provide the faster data reading and writing speeds required to run and store your current (and future) Switch 2 games.

Older Switch SD cards are still technically compatible with your new handheld, but only to transfer screenshots and game clips.

Fortunately, not only are more brands, from Samsung to Lexar, launching new capacity microSD Express Cards on the regular, but Nintendo has an official card of its own in the form of the 256GB Samsung microSD Express Card, which features some adorable red and white Super Mario branding. The latter of which will be receiving a $30 price cut later in the week, and I'll be sure to add it to the deals above once its Black Friday saving goes live.

Of course, if you can make do with the 256GB on-board storage found on your handheld, there's no need to fork out extra cash for more storage. Just be wary that Switch 2 games are steadily getting more storage-demanding little by little, so having one at your disposal can be handy at combating large install files and pesky update files for online games like Fortnite, too.

There are loads of shows on Paramount Plus I've been meaning to catch up on — Landman, MobLand and Lioness come to mind — and so the streaming service's new Black Friday deal comes at a perfect time to fill my holiday viewing schedule.

You can save up to $10 on your first two months of a Paramount Plus subscription right now. That means the cost is just $2.99 per month for 60 days of straight viewing — I reckon with some committed watching I could make a pretty big dent in my back-catalog in that time! After that, you roll into a standard-price subscription.

*UK deals only apply if you sign up for an annual plan, with the savings affecting your first three months of nine.

There are a few big differences between Paramount Plus Essential and Premium. Perhaps most notably, the former has commercials, whereas the latter is ad free.

Premium also lets you download shows to watch offline, stream in a 4K quality and watch content from the Showtime library, none of which are supported by Essential. Given that they cost the same in the sales, I'd of course recommend signing up for Premium, and perhaps downgrading to Essential if you want to keep access to the library but without the high fee.

Should you subscribe to Paramount Plus?

If, like me, you've been waiting for Black Friday deals to catch up on the Paramount Plus library, then it's an easy sign-up. The price won't be this cheap until next Black Friday, so it's the perfect time to subscribe.

If you're looking at more general Black Friday streaming deals, though, it's a harder proposition, because in some ways the Paramount Plus discount is worse than other brands, but in one way it's better.

Other streaming services are offering you far longer-lasting discounts than two months. The Disney Plus and Hulu bundle, and deals on Starz and HBO, all last a whole year, while Apple TV Plus' discount continues for 6 months of a subscription. So you're not saving as much money with Paramount.

But at the same time, you're not spending as much either, as you're not committed to a whole year of streaming. So if you don't think you need to subscribe for that long, it might be a great way to see some shows without breaking the bank.

I've gamed on all kind of tablets, including meaty iPad Pros and giant Android tablets. But honestly, if you're on a budget, the entry-level iPad is an affordable powerhouse — and a fantastic Black Friday iPad deal has brought the newest-gen model down to its lowest-ever price.

The Apple iPad A16, which launched earlier this year, can be found for just $274 at Amazon, marking $75 or 21% off its MSRP. That's a great price on tech that isn't very old, and the savings extend to the cell models as well as various storage sizes. Even the much-pricier 512GB model has a $70 saving, for example, and these all mark the best Black Friday iPad deals of the year.

To give you a quick run-down of the tablet's specs, it has an Apple A16 chipset as well as an 11-inch Liquid Retina display. The front and back cameras are both 12MP, and the tablet has Touch ID built into the power button. Like all of Apple's new tablets, it uses the modern thin-bezel design. Accessories like a keyboard folio or stylus don't come included.

The base model, which I've covered in the deal, has 128GB storage. That's enough for a light entertainment device, for watching Netflix or Apple TV Plus, but may not be enough for gamers, students or business users. The 256GB and 512GB models provide you more space but while they are on offer too, the prices are still higher.

Should you buy the iPad for gaming?

Beyond that, there are plenty of great games on iPad and the A16 can handle them all. I have a different, slightly weaker iPad and I still easily get stuck into games like Mechanicus, Lego Star Wars, Minecraft, Tropico and several Total War titles. My particular Achilles' Heel is XCOM 2, and I find myself getting stuck into a new playthrough every few months.

Most of those games are PC or console games which have been ported over to iPad, and that's mainly my preference so I can enjoy PC games on the go, but there are plenty of other titles built for the mobile experience too.
