Love really is blind in this Slovakian doc, as four sight-impaired romantics struggle with affairs of the heart.

Miro is a Roma gypsy in love with a partially sighted girl whose parents disapprove of him; Elena is pregnant and practices being a blind mum with a plastic doll.

Meanwhile, music teacher Peter lets his keyboard transport him and his blind wife on magical journeys and teenager Zuzana tries to find a boyfriend online.

Tender and moving, this offbeat gem isn’t afraid to swap its docu-realism for outlandish fantasy – check out Peter’s sub-aquatic tussle with an
animated octopus. Well worth a look.
