SF fame: Sadly Leee John’s appearance wasn’t an Just An Illusion (see what we did there?). His pantomime turn as a space pirate in the 1983 Doctor Who story “Enlightenment” was excruciatingly poor as he over-enunciated, and over-elongated each word (which may explain the three "e"s in his name. He even had the unique ability to act like he was miming turning a ship’s wheel, even when he was standing right in front of a ship’s wheel.
