Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon, and VR take home Game Critics Best of E3 awards

It's been almost a month since E3 2016, and the forty media outlets that make up the Game Critics Awards have come to a consensus. Drumroll please! The best game on the show floor this year was ... The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The Legend of Zelda actually took home three awards: Best Action/Adventure Game, Best Console Game, and Best of Show. Sony tied Nintendo thanks to three wins of its own in the categories of Best Original Game (Horizon: Zero Dawn), Best Hardware/Peripheral (PlayStation VR), and Special Commendation for Graphics (God of War).
