  Yakuza of the End new information (Zombie spin off game)

  The 7th game in the franchise has got a new release date of the 9th of June in Japan, it was scheduled for mid March release but due to the recent earthquake and tsunami it was pushed back until the 9th of June. Sega also confirmed that some of the profit from sales of this game will go towards the Japanese Red Cross.

  Siliconera - Japanese videogame sales archivist, Geimin.net, has graciously put together an online version of sales tracker Media-Creates list of top-selling games in 2010. While the usual suspects held the top-most spots on the chart (Pokémon, Monster Hunter, Super Mario), it turns out Japans favourite PlayStation 3 game was Yakuza 4.

  Sydney Man Gets SEGA Yakuza $9000 Full Back Tattoo

  A year ago, SEGA Australia ran a competition promoting their Japanese mafia sandbox title Yakuza 3, with the prize being a full back-piece tattoo matching that of the game's protagonist Kazuma Kiryu, valued at over AUD$9000. Today, with Yakuza 4 about to launch, we learn that the winner actually went through with it. According to SEGA, the winner is 46 year-old Fari Salievski from Liverpool NSW and is actually a full-time martial arts instructor and MMA trainer.
