In order to combat the grub-stealin' gnats, you have to master Wik's ability to suck his enemies into his mouth and spit them at other enemies. With each stage cleared, the difficulty ramps up by adding new types of enemies and different obstacles for Wik to overcome through clever swinging and spitting. Wik also begins to uncover the convoluted story that surrounds the deceptive and evil nature of the little grubs that he keeps feeding to his mule. Wik: Fable of Souls may not be the most exciting Live Arcade title, but it scratches an action/puzzle itch that few other games can match.
