Too Human

The Scandinavian RPG has been Bjorn again

It’s not all RPG stuff; there’s action and plenty of it, and because camera control is automatic, the right analog stick is free to activate melée attacks, allowing you to properly “reach” into your enemy in a 3D playing field.

Other news: the automatic camera, which at E3 ’06 saw us frequently getting intimate with the ceiling, now works like a charm, acting as your own personal director as it dramatically sweeps across the impressively expansive environments and adjusts the camera angle to suit your fighting style. Silicon Knights say they want the game to “talk the language of film,” and the theatrical grandeur of the gameworld, drawing intensely from Norse iconography to forge a deep, affecting environment unlike any other on any console.
