Merc: What? No gun at all?
Spy: Don't need 'em. I can snap your neck with my bare hands, buddy.
Merc: What about that elbow smash thing you used to do, and that shocker gun?
Spy: We don't really use many offensive weapons anymore, due to budget cuts. We're required to be sneakier now; it's actually more fun, if you ask me. Our mission is to infiltrate and hack into two of your four computers, and take the stolen files back to our base. Teamwork is essential, and if we do our jobs right, no one needs to get hurt.
Merc: That sounds complicated. My mission is to perforate spies. It's got an elegant simplicity to it.
Spy: What about those big explosions I heard last week?
Merc: Oh, those were fragmentation grenades. I love grenades.
Spy: Clearly. We only get smoke grenades. But they're pretty handy in a fix. I just lay one of those babies down and wham - I'm behind you, twisting your neck into a balloon animal.
Merc: Yeah, that's what happened to Hank last month. He owed me 50 bucks.

Spy: We also get jammers and flashbang flares.
Merc: Flares? For roadside emergencies?
Spy: No; they mess up your proximity sensors and confuse your fancy Electro Magnetic Field vision. But clearly, it isn't very difficult to confuse you.
Merc: Funny. To tell you the truth, I don't use the EMF much - pretty much only rely on my flashlight and the old Mk.1 eyeball. But the rumble that we get from our proximity detectors when a spy is nearby - now mister, that is handy.
