Last month a picture of a Splinter Cell: Conviction Limited Collector's Edition leaked on the net, with the info that it contained a statue of Sam Fisher. Today Ubisoft announced that it will release a Collector's Edition for the upcoming release of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction(TM). This exclusive edition of the game will be bundled with content and items that will not be found anywhere else. The Collector's Edition will be available in stores on February 23, 2010. Developed by Ubisoft Montréal, the game will be available exclusively for the Xbox 360 and the PC.

During the live demo of Splinter Cell Conviction at PAX -- the same demo given at E3, incidentally -- Ubisoft creative director Max Beland revealed that Sam Fisher will indeed reacquire his trademark night vision goggles. A brief video showed the goggles in use,though Sam was still in civilian garb. The goggles enabled a black and white vision mode that allowed Sam to see through walls, with enemies glowing bright white.
