RoboBlitz

Top-notch gaming at budget prices

The shooting bits actually end up being the weaker aspect of the game, as the straight-forward combat weapons aren't nearly as impressive as they should be. RoboBlitz makes up for this a bit, though, but presenting boss battles that would be more at home in, say, a Zelda game, where simply shooting your enemy over and over isn't enough to beat it. Instead, you need to come up with creative ways to get it to show a weak point or crash into damaging spikes; things of that nature.

RoboBlitz may be a tad on the short side, but at around 15 bucks, the price of admission is perfect for the amount of fun you'll have with this game. Plus, the PC version comes with a level editor, which makes it even more worthwhile. But, even on Xbox Live, RoboBlitz is definitely worth grabbing.

You'll love
  • Awesome weapons and puzzles
  • Great graphics
  • Level editor on the PC version
You'll hate
  • No level editor included on Xbox Live
  • No multiplayer modes
