360 Preview | The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian
360 - The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian - The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian The Chronicles of Narnia books remain high on their pedestal of nostalgic childhood memories; the movies, perhaps a bit less so. Fans of either probably hanker for the ability to frolic through the Narnian fields equally, and so the games keep coming. In case you aren’t familiar with the story behind the second chapter known as Prince Caspian, or need a refresher, it begins one Earth year after the events from the first book/movie. ...

360 Preview | The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
360 - The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena – hands-on

Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was one of the most visually stunning games to hit the original Xbox. It's also one of the very few movie based games that rocked. Given that gamers have been trained to expect sucktastic movie games, Escape from Butcher Bay was a surprising breath of fresh air. It built upon the mythos established by the films, gave us a meaty story and it was damn fun to play. ...

360 Preview | The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena
Really, it would be all too easy to throw our pads down and sit in the corner sulking, as following hot on the heals of Ninja Gaiden Sigma, theres news of yet another Xbox port making its way to PS3. Is this what Sonys behemoth of a console has come to? Forced to offer refuge to underplayed old Xbox games? As we say, it would be easy to bemoan the lack of original games until you take stock and remember that these are underplayed games, few people ever bought into Xbox and so missed many great ...

360 Preview | Clive Barker's Jericho
We've spent a great deal of time talking about this blood 'n' guts shooter, including interviews and hands-on reports. Right now our opinions stand squarely in the "wow, that's really gross" area, impressed by the horrific visuals that waste no time earning their "M" rating. Even the straightforward gameplay, reminiscent of Doom 3, is enticing in part because of the disturbing graphics and macabre enemy designs. What initially seems like another ho-hum shooter with leathered-up main characters ...

360 Preview | Clive Barker's Jericho
You know all those personality traits that your girlfriend and the police constantly scold or arrest you for? Like how you sprint around and chew bodies into chunks with all-devouring bullet-barrages from your mini-gun. Or how youll just liberate the fire demon that lives in your arm and send it out to murder, or at least mangle your forearm so you can cast destructive spells with your voodoo blood. Well buddy, your hunger for ultra-gore will inaugurate you as our Messiah in September 2007. ...

360 Preview | Clive Barker's Jericho
There's something dark, mysterious, sick and evil out there - and it's inside Clive Barker's head. Admittedly, this was obvious from our first look at Jericho, but it seems that there's more to this supernatural FPS than the predictable gore and oh-so-scary zombie Crusaders that have been seen hitherto. We already knew that the game saw you controlling the Jericho team (Ghostbusters without the proton packs - or sense of humor) as they try to stamp out an "ancient evil" emanating from the ...

360 Preview | Clive Barker's Jericho
Sadomasochistic cenobites, cannibalism, hooks in flesh, skin-stealing…“Weve got sights to show you,” grinned Pinhead in seminal horror flick Hellraiser - and didnt he just? However, Clive Barker himself has shown us so much more - in his books, his films, his soft toy range and in his games. Well, in Clive Barkers Undying anyway - the others havent been very good. But now hes back with Clive Barkers Jericho, a project hes steering all the way from conception - rather than ...

360 Preview | Clive Barker's Jericho
Theres no I in team. Well, there used to be - but you died. It was really quite sad. You were there one moment, standing in a lost city packed with demons and screaming at the top of your lungs, and then you were dead. Just another rugged action hero vastly experienced in supernatural warfare popping his cork at the hands of something horrible: Gone but not forgotten. But wait: Much like Patrick Swayze in Ghost, youve come back from the very brink of death. Although therell be no clay-sex ...
