The Eurogamer Expo and gamesindustry.biz games fair has started selling tickets this week. You can buy a ticket for £5, which is donated to GamesAid, and gives you access to both events.
Games such as Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, LittleBigPlanet, Mirrors Edge, Motorstorm: Pacific Rift, Prince of Persia, Resistance 2, Tomb Raider: Underworld, Street Fighter IV and many more (with some still unannounced!) will all be playable.
The expo is part of the London Games Festival 2008 and will run from the 28th-29th October.

There has been some confusion in regards to the demo of Mirror's Edge. Some publications have misinterpreted the release and announced that the demo was due out September 26. However, EA has just confirmed with us that "The demo will be out prior to launch (no official date yet) and the pre-order begins Sept 26".

Videogamer writes: "DICE has today announced that its highly anticipated first-person action title, Mirror's Edge, is to ship for Xbox 360 and PS3 on November 14 across Europe.
As had been previously rumoured, the PC version will not make the November date and will arrive in stores later in the winter."

MCV: Much-hyped DICE title Mirror's Edge has been confirmed for release on November 11th in the US, and November 14th in the UK.
The first-person action title will hit PS3 and Xbox 360 simultaneously, with a PC SKU scheduled for 'later in the winter'. A demo of the EA-published release will appear on Live and PSN prior to launch.

Producer Tom Ferrer explained to EGM Magazine that the time trial portions of Mirror's Edge will be "bite-sized and short so you can grind them and play them and get faster and faster. It's not like playing an entire level." Naturally, you'll be able to upload your fastest time for each section to online leaderboards, and you can even download ghost data that appears in the game as a stylish red silhouette showing how other people completed the task.» Read More

One of the German's site called Heise online have said on the last past from this archive* about Sony's Conference in GC08.
"Laut Reeves werde Mirrors Edge zunächst exklusiv für die PS3 in diesem Jahr erscheinen. Die PC- und Xbox-360-Versionen würden deutlich später folgen."
In translated:
"According to Reeves, Mirrors Edge will be a timed exclusive on PS3... PC and 360 will follow much later!"
