well, remember, a 7 is still good, but why did it take so long to make the game. i play it alot and there are still many glitches in the gameplay. What the heck were they doing with all those months??!! whatever, i still think its a pretty good game, but the main story is really short. atleast i can still go after acheivments, but if u have it for the ps2 or pc i cant imagine how bored u are already with the game

Their games become shit.

I bought this game, and I'd have to say that these guess were a bit harsh on it. Sure it may get repetitive, but it someone names one game that isn't, in some degree, repetitive... I didn't see Halo 3 getting a score this low, and it was basically the same deal as this. It's very fun with excellent mini-game hijackings, and a huge area to blow stuff up with. The graphics, are very well done, and I don't see how they could say that. Maybe this reviewer was pissed because he didn't like the first one, or maybe he had to spend his own money to but the game, either way, this review seems biased and harsh. If you're opinion on this game that some of you have yet to play has been changed because of one lowly internet review, then go back to whatever cave you came from and just let the whole world tell you what you should feel.

shit, i wanted this game so much...
its rubbish that the developers can get away with last gen graphics,
but maybe it will make up for that with the total explosions,bombs etc.

i read this review and was really dissapointed
then i saw a vid of the gameplay on ign (no disrespect gamesradar im a loyal fan and member lol) but seriously the graphics are'nt bad they
arent the best iv ever seen but they are well and truelly this gen

well that's just cause i realy love goin agro with nukes...BUT STILL!!! if you don't at least rent it,your a douchebag who needs to be killed with fire....or a nuke....mmmmm...nuuukes

i bought Mercs 2 about a month ago, and i have NOT been disappointed, i've completed it and all, and got the costumes etc. but i go on it simply to blow the sh!@ out of towns and people. i would easily give this game a ten, not a nine because of the dialogue, but for anyone looking for a fun, free-roaming, run 'n' gun shooter, this is for you.

I am actually disappointed, I thought this game was gonna kick so much ass, but I guess it's alright. This isn't out of harshness, but I used to play mercs 1 for hours on end, and now I am sad about the storyline especially. Took them long enough to come out with the cheats. PS-I'm surprised there are no REAL terrorist bastards you have to kill(snicker snicker)

I'm a fan of the sandbox style gameplay, so for me this is just like GTA 4 without sex and F-bombs.

What is wrong with you people? A 7 isn't a bad rating at all. And you know what? If you depend on other peoples opinions to form your own about videogames, i am saddened by you.

Other than the annoying dialog, there is almost NOTHING wrong with this game.

I bet half of the people here haven't even played it for themselves.

The graphics are spectacular for a game that gives you 64 square Km to explore, and for a game that has 200 vehicles to use, plus all the airstrikes and NPCs.

For something like that, the graphics are at least very good.

If you can't even get up off your ass to at least TRY this game, than you have no right to voice your uneducated opinion about it.

God, people on this comments page are like sheep! Everyone's saying "aww, I was thinking this was going to be good". This is the reviewer's opinion! I wholly disagree with this review, I would give it a 9 probably, this is an actually great game!

This rating is about right, everything they didnt like is true, repeating charcters weird and strange glitches, i found myself calling in 2-3 helicopters and them never showing up, one even dissapeared right out from under me! At the end they hint at mabey a third game..... alot of people wont be buying after the show Mercs 2 put on, i would buy in for a third but if it has as many glitches as the 2nd no way anyone will want to pay for that. But still once again only a few games give you the chance to use nuclear ground penatrating bombs and tanks and all the other great stuff to blow the world up. I mean its a great game if you look at it like that

i never listen to reviews i got this is awesome game if u into going into bases rambo style i recomend this if i like blowing the shit out of stuff get it. i saw crap reviews for brothers in arms hells highway got it for a tenner loved it never listen to reviews
