2. Resist the temptation to see videogame movies

No, Uwe Boll isn’t going to get it right this time. Videogame based films are always awful cash-ins, and they’re relying on hardcore fans like you to keep them afloat.

What are you really going to miss? An hour and a half of feeling like you’re watching someone else play a game, except with acting somehow worse than that of jagged polygonal characters and a plot written by a dedicated fan of National Treasure?

If we all stop paying to see this filth, they’ll either have to start making better movies or stop making them at all.

Just look at this list of the top ten highest grossing videogame adaptations, and consider that your $10 is included in some of these numbers. For shame. If you just want to see Angelina Jolie being sexy, skip Lara Croft and rent Gia, or one of the many other films which feature shots of her nude, pasty, tattooed figure.

Bwahaha. Just leafing through these, came to page 5.

I don't have the game, but I *do* have Okami. And I never finished it. I got pretty far, but other things popped up and I played them and I was going to play but then I didn't and then I said to myself "you're not going to play this for like another two years despite your best intentions, are you?" and then that happened and I completed a run-on sentence.

But yeah, I saw that and I was like, "yeah...Okami..." same thing with Metroid Prime 2. Oh well.

And then at the end of it, the article tells me to play Okami ;_;
