7) Face off

Before you enter the game properly, you have the option of completely customising your character. On a basic level, you can completely change the way their face looks or whether to play as a man or a woman (which will also have an effect on how the game plays out). We particularly like the way you can select a back story for your character too. Did they grow up on a Spaceship, on an off-world colony, or did they grow up in the slums of Earth? And yes, you guessed it, this will also affect the way the game pans out for you…

8) Command and conquer

Of course, the “rampage” option isn’t always the wisest. For the more cautious there’s the usual duck and cover option. But on top of that, you also have the ability to pause the game at any point and issue quick and easy commands to your party. You can set waypoints, tell them to target specific individuals and tell them to use particular attacks. The option of using a well-thought-out strategy is just a button press away.
