3) Decisions
Unlike in normal RPGs, crew members and computer-controlled characters you meet in the game can’t always be classed as “good” or “bad” - it all depends on how you interact with them during the game. For some of you, party members will be allies or even a romantic interest, while others who play more aggressively will find the same characters turning into enemies further down the line. The way you conduct yourself as a Commander will have consequences for the story.
4) Chat’s magic
One of our favourite features is the way the chat system works. You use the analogue stick to select from a number of different conversation options while dialogue is being spoken. As a rule, the top option is a positive/kind response, while the bottom options are negative/aggressive responses - with shades of grey in between. In a clever move, you earn different points for the options you choose, moulding your character as a nice or nasty person the more you interact with people.
