Shadowrun

Five reasons to Shadowrun

We can't stop playing the 360 beta. Here's why

Words: Charlie Barratt, GamesRadar US

The recently opened Shadowrun beta isn't perfect. The artwork is unfinished, the frame rate can be choppy, the performance is often sluggish and sometimes the game's AI bots are the only competitors available to play. Most annoyingly, just two maps are currently offered, though we sampled at least three during our last developer demo. So why can't we tear ourselves away?

Because even at this still early stage, the game's unique and diverse strengths shine through. The Shadowrun experience is not only completely different from any other FPS you've played; it's completely different from match to match.

Read on to find out how. But before you do, watch our brand new, straight-from-the-beta gameplay videos - one for each map. So, uh, two.
