ya I almost always have Explosives picked so and an easy way to level up is put the difficulty on Very Hard then do the bomb thing but it really helps when your good so you can get there really fast and make sure to grab lots of Scrap Metal in the vault cause you get money also remember to have repair skill up so you can repair the leaks then give him the metal.

i made my special as even as possible.. i had three 7s and four 6s and poured most my stats into repair lockpick and small guns. if i needed some stats i just put on clothes which is acctually very useful. if i was short in repair or lockpick i just put on my utility jumpsuit

Heh nice work Tyler! i am 7 lvl now XD i was so stupid that i decreased luck to 2 and intelligence to 3 XD and str is 8 and agility 9 and charisma 8... sorry for poor english:( this game kick ass

i put my intelligence to 10 and left the rest alone. Intelligence is very good becouse it gives you more skil points every time you level up it is the best thing to do.

the best followers combination is dogmeat and fawks.

Great Guide. First time i played i didn't check GamesRadar first so i stumble through just barely. Ended up beating the game at level 11. Anyway to fix that on my second character?

this game is badass...following the intelligence tip by going to 9 and getting the inteligence bobble head, i have maxed out energy weapons with medicine repair and science not too far bheind, i also got full testla armor and same with one of my followers charon and i have another named fawkes all at lvl 16....im glad i can basically one shot anything with a plasma rifle :)

Unarmed...useless?? I have 10 strength, 100 unarmed and the fisto! power fist, and i can own pretty much everything...Because unarmed isn't just no weapons, It's Knuckle dustors and the power fist...I should be called hand-to-hand or maybe it already is...But still unarmed isn't useless, especially if your stealthy.

I maxed out with luck and didn't regret it!

I have played through Fallout 3 at least twice and have gone for a good character and a bad character to get the achievements. (Im an acheivement whore). To me, it is much better to be evil because you can pretty much do wehatever you want as long as you dont die. As for the stats, I found that strength is not all too important unless you enjoy using melee weapons alot or you carry alot of equipement such as power armor and every weapon you have! I usually keep my strength at 5 becasue I usually just carry the bare essesntials, which is ammo, two of each weapon that I am carrying (such as 2 chinese assault rifles, 2 combat shotties, and 2 hunting rifles or snipers) for repairing them. I also wear light clothing that still give me some upgrades such as Regulator clothing which add up small guns. I always bring up my intelligence and agility and luck. These are always helpful in VATS. I also bring up my small guns, repair, and lockpick up as soon as possible. It always seems to work for me and it may be able to work with you ifg you are a sneaky shoot first guy like me.

i got the game like two weeks now and totally love it =D but i dont understand how to create a second character :S ( ow i got it on the xbox360 ) but can some one please explain?

Wicked guid, im playing my third character now, but can i actually get past level 20? Also my mate who is playing aswell has told me that he has found an alian weapon at the top centre of the map but i aint found it yet!

oh and i cant get more then two followers at a time, i have charon but i want Fawks but he wont join me... what am i doin wrong?

Okay to get a maxed out character (close to maxed out) First make specials like this:

then go get the intelligence bobble head at rivet city then find all the other bobble heads in the game (somewhere in this site) Then it would look like this:

then use intense training 10 times to look like this:

then complete the "THOSE!" quest (the one with fire ants) and go find the scientist dude in the subway place then do what he says AND DO NOT HURT THE QUEEN ANT! then he will ask you a question:
Would you like the Ant Might or Ant Sight injection?
I recommend Ant Might so strength would be 10,
but Ant Sight = perception 10*
*And choose your skills and perks to your satisfaction!!*

I dont think that it is really worth it to put luck past 7, becasueyou have the bobblehead and also the Lucky 8 Ball you can get(I forget from who... Maybe that guy in Arefu) will raise it by an additional two if you carry it.
