Chris Redfield can hustle
There's plenty in the new trailer to get us excited about playing as series favorite Chris Redfield. A far cry from Leon Kennedy (RE 4's foppish hero), Redfield looks tough, buff and ready to kick ass, which is a good job given that - on the evidence of the trailer - combat in RE 5 is going to be incredibly claustrophobic. Redfield is seen using a whole host of physical moves to get some distance between himself and the mob, including a shove that's followed up with a tasty right-hook. And given the speed that the machete-wielding crazies move at, we're counting our blessings that Redfield seems capable of shifting pretty swiftly himself - illustrated brilliantly when he sprints along a rickety, elevated walkway before leaping over the edge with all his might. The guy is moving with a real sense of panic and desperation and if that can be translated into the gameplay, we should be in for some awesome, nerve-shredding chases.
