Strip Fighter 2 - 1993
Created by Games Express (a company Google and Wikipedia have never heard of) and produced for the TurboGrafx-16, SF2 is a direct parody of Street Fighter II - there was never a Strip Fighter 1. You see, Games Express recognized the wicked popularity of the far superior fighter and - in similar thinking to veteran film director Uwe Boll - decided a tasteless parody of something good would automatically equal hilarity.
Choosing from an eclectic handful of scantily-clad women, including a plus-sized (read: fat) wrester and a woman wearing only a snake, you’ll find the graphics are actually pretty good. That’s when things get a bit naughty. While executing some of your special moves, you’ll get a glimpse of a heiny with an uppercut, or - if you play your cards right - some boobs. Beating the game also gives you some nude pictures, if you’re hard pressed for wank material.

Clay Fighter - 1993
Now here’s a humorous idea that features little simulated sexual activity and isn’t an obvious rip-off of a much better game. Clay Fighter strips out the serious and replaces it with light-hearted claymation brawlers like Elvis impersonator Blue Suede Goo, Bad Mr. Frosty and Bonker - the psychotic clown. Of course, the clay-related puns get stretched a bit when pumpkin-headed Ichabod Clay more closely resembles the Headless Horseman from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow and not Ichabod Crane, the conceited schoolteacher he’s named after. But that was just Clay Fighter’s counterculture way, we suppose.
Spanning two sequels (excluding a couple Blockbuster Video-exclusive editions), Clay Fighter evolved in its own style, but soon started parodying other games in earnest. By the time it hit part 3 on the N64 - affectionately titled Clay Fighter 63 1/3 - the series had a parry system (Street Fighter III), super meters (Street Fighter Alpha), incredibly long combos (Killer Instinct) and fatalities (take a wild guess). Unfortunately, combat always felt a bit disjointed and the only things worth remembering are the characters, which by 63 1/3 included past Interplay heroes Earthworm Jim and Boogerman. We suggest Part 4 should be a character select screen only.
