NoobFeed.com covers their love for abolutely bizarre platform classics with the announcement that GOG.com has a one-day promo going on for Psychonauts. Grab this Double Fine production right now and be amazed!

El33tonline writes: Double Fine Productions is ten years old today, July 27th 2010! Ten years ago today, Tim Schafer and some like-minded individuals thought it would be a good idea to start an independent videogame development company, after years of working at LucasArts making classic titles such as Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle and Grim Fandango. What fools.

Psychonauts developer Double Fine has released the official soundtrack for the much-loved game providing fans with an array of options to purchase and download from Amazon, iTunes, Napster etc. There's the official cinematic score and the regular soundtrack to check out.

Destructoid: While we'd love for Double Fine to be quietly working on a sequel to Psychonauts, that doesn't look like it's happening any time soon. But even having their hands full with Brutal Legend, Psychonauts is not forgotten. Psycho-pedia, an online compendium of all things Psychonauts related has launched in a pre-release phase over at Double Fine's official Web site. It looks like it will be home to all things Psychonauts related, including game information, fan artwork, and more. It's a work in progress, but there's already some great stuff there, including a bunch of killer concept art.

14th Nov 2007 Can you believe how much our little boy has grown? The years have just flown by. It seems just yesterday that Xbox Live was taking its fledgling stumbles into the online console gaming world, but half a decade of additions and refinemenents later, Microsofts community has grown into a nigh-legendary and highly influential modern institution of videogaming. Theres no doubt that cake, lemonade and spurious vomiting are to be had later, but for now Microsoft is doing a few other

Oct 24, 2007 Tim Schafer has shot down hopes of a new Psychonauts project in response to speculation that such was in the pipeline. Yesterday, gossip kicked off about a potential new game - or the possibility of a Wii version of Psychonauts - following the appearance of a mystery Psychonauts image on the projects section of Double Fine's website that had "Coming Soon" stamped on it. "Man, who knew how much excitement a little darkness could bring?" Schafer told Next Generation when queried
