Jake Gyllenhaal has been confirmed to play the prince in Jerry Bruckheimer's movie based on the Prince of Persia games.
Mike Newell, who directed Donnie Brasco and the forth Harry Potter movie, will take up directing duties, whilst Gemma Arterton (Bond girl to be in Quantum of Solace) will be the princess.

Just let that sink in for a moment: they're smart enough to reprogram a video game, but not smart enough to realize that keeping a detailed paper trail of drug deals might not be a good idea. Add in some ridiculous bits about how they have to reach Level 10? to access them, a whole room of cops gathering around to watch, and some random twitching of fingers and you've got a sequence that's embarrassing for all involved, especially the viewers.
